Am talking of a person that survived the virus not of someone who never had the virus Having the virus could be asymptomatic for most healthy people. Its however profitable to accept that tbe virus is closer to you and Maintain Precaution than believing it cant catch you and finally catch the virus. Alright brother man. Not that I am not precautious of the virus, I am just pointing out that it isn't right statistically to conclude like that given the type of data |

FanRong: So UK is the first place the disease developed, bah? The Virus wasn't imported into UK too? Those stats u see of tests carried out comprises of areas with high density of victims with the covid-19 and some with very low density. This is not the case here, because the test is concentrated only to some particular people |

FanRong: As of 8pm yesterday, UK has conducted 120,776 tests with 17,089 confirmed positive. Nigeria has conducted 333 screening with 89 confirmed positive to covid-19
This is bad news for Nigeria. It Means that for every 4 test conducted in Nigeria I person is Positive.
And in UK, for every 7 persons tested im Britain, 1 is Positive.
Please Stay Home. Stay Safe! Lol, u didn't consider their probability. All of the people tested in Nigeria are returnees and close contacts to them. I lld take u serious when testing is done randomly |

KanielOutis92: Lol...your moniker tho..lol. This isnt racism my man. Question: If this guy were to be black, say Nigerian ( and that is of course if Covid19 started from here ), do you think these guys would act as they did? Well...your guess is as good as mine. His race doesnt count here. All they are concerned about is...is this "person's" presence here, a threat to my life? If yes, then... Definitely, they would act like that only if there is a confirmation that he /she is positive. U don't expect fellow Nigerians to run away from one another, then it means everyone would run away from each other Brother man. The Chinese man was judged based on his race. They didn't care to know if he was positive or Negative and this tally with how the world view racism, tho not totally my view |

KanielOutis92: This is stigmatization, at it's peak. Very sad promisedeco: How is self prevention racism I lld have agreed with u on this, but just like the way a white calls the police on a black passer bye in his neighborhoode because previous theft cases have been perpetrated by Blacks is termed racism. So I lld safely term this as a racist action too. |

Alright, which of the celebreties tjat u have seen woth the virus on respirators, at least both of us could relate??. Most people with the virus are asked to self-isolate and treat urself. Just people that are shows severe symptoms either due to immuncompromise, liver damage or respiratory problems. Broo if one has strong immunity one should be just fine after 2weeks. We need to practice social distancing not just for ourselves, but for that cancer patient on chemotherapy with compromised immunity, Asthma patients and also Our aged ones and Babies [quote author=Sonfethopia post=87842597]Big lies. I have seen Norma patient without no health problems on repsirators. They only said the virus is bad for people with bad health condition. They did not say people who suffer from respiratiory problems will have breathing problems If they contact it. |

Sonfethopia: De there make pant the wear u. U r seeing something the WHO has decleared a pandemic u r saying its not worse than malaria. This thing can sieze breath , why do you think they need respirators. Guy don't joke with it Abeg. Even america is crying. Please always read thoroughly any information you see. Those who experience these are those with respiratory problems. |
Health › Re: Covid-19: Enugu State Confirms Two Cases. Begins Contact Tracing by coronavirus19: 10:14am On Mar 28, 2020 |
Eclement: So, you think COVID-19 isn't worse than malaria?
Yes, the death toll in Nigeria is just one, what about America, Italy, Indian, the list goes like that and you know? Remember, it has only buffet us for roughly 2months and it has claimed thousands of life in that frame of time.
Malaria has been around for centuries. Let COVID-19 also hang around for centuries and let's count our loss, you'll know which is worse.
Similarly, in just two months, coronavirus has thrown the economy of the world into a recession, how many times has malaria thrown your economy into topsy-turvy? Let COVID-19 also hang around for centuries and let's count our loss, you'll know which is worse.
Moreover, so many times I have malaria, my mummy is always proud to carry me on her back to the next hospital, because she can't contact it from me. Malaria isn't contagious. Play with covid-19 in this format, you'll know which is worse.
My dear, coronavirus may not be as deadly as some viruses, but don't compare it to malaria. I know malaria has taken many lives in decades past, but this is coronavirus in just two months.
And lastly, let's spread the panic, PANIC is another language many Nigerians understand after religion. Covid-19 is deadly, likewise malaria. Some persons especially during childhood are susceptible to easy death if they have malaria and it isn't treated on time. Just like makaria, cholera and the black plague, the era of corona would pass. The problem with corona is the high risk of contracting it because of the mode of transmission, the disease itself isn't deadly to some whilst deadly to some others just like the way u feel malaria is nothing, but it claimed close to a million lives in 2000. I believe with good hygiene practice and social disease, this disease would fade away just like it was before it came. No need for panic, just do the right thing |
