For your information, there used to be list of Accredited NYSC Registration Centre on NYSC portal. If you think it is as easy as you thought, go to any cyber café as you mentioned in your post.

But in order not to put people that are following your post in trouble. It is safe to ask those that are ahead where and how they completed theirs.

The reason is simple - it's not everybody that can do it.

NYSC registration on the 20th of April 2017 is coming very fast than we think. And some Prospective Corps Members are asking maybe there are centers accredited by NYSC officially to do the registration.
You still don't get what am saying?

You know that if you want to do MTN sim registration, you cannot just enter any cafe or do it on your own laptop. You have to go to a place where they have the gadget or an MTN office. Because the sim registration requires a software that most people don't know nothing about, so you must go to a particular place to do it.

Asking maybe there are accredited centers for NYSC registration is asking maybe there are some specific places you can do your NYSC registration.

Asking if there are NYSC accredited centers is asking maybe you as an individual can do it on your own.
Now the answer to the question Are There NYSC Accredited Centers FOR NYSC Registration? Is NO
No NYSC accredited centers for NYSC registration. You can do it on your own. You can do it anywhere.

All you need to do NYSC registration are
*Laptop or Desktop
*Internet connection
*Thumb Print gadget for Biometric verification.
*Webcam.
*Good laptop battery or electricity.

Once you have all of those, you are good to go.

Erase the idea of NYSC accredited centers for NYSC registration. It's a scam.
Visit any cyber cafe or anywhere you can have access to those things above and you are good to go.

Getting married as a Virgin has been laced with so many lies and fictions. Unfortunately many bought into these lies and became confused when things are not working as they ought for them.

The longevity of a marriage is a function of many things that your virginity has no say about. Death, Divorce, Diseases, Disorder, Even the character of your spouse and yours has a say in how long your marriage will be.

3. GETTING MARRIED AS A VIRGIN DOES NOT MEAN YOU WON'T BE BARREN
fruitfulness is a fuction of you and your spouse reproductive capacities and even beyond that, barrenness has many root causes that goes beyond the couple's control.

4. GETTING MARRIED AS A VIRGIN DOES NOT MEAN YOUR HUSBAND WON'T CHEAT ON YOU
If a man is not disciplined, he will cheat on you regardless of your virginity status before marriage. Your virginity can't correct covetousness and lust in a man's life.

5. GETTING MARRIED AS A VIRGIN DOES NOT MEAN YOUR HUSBAND WILL LOVE YOU.
It takes more than your virginity to be loved, you have your own part to play and he has his. Besides, if a man is not trained or working on loving you, your virginity won't help out. Peace in your home is a function of how you and your husband choose to respond and resolve conflict, it's a function of how much you and your spouse want the prince of peace to reign. It's a fuction of your triumph over the spirit of strife or the devil over your home.

8. GETTING MARRIED AS A VIRGIN DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU WILL GIVE BIRTH TO GODLY CHILDREN
godly children are a product of training, discipline, prayers, hardwork and God's favour. Your children can't be godly just because you as their father or mother is got married as a Virgin. Your lifestyle in marriage is as an important factor in determining the kind of kids you will raise. Besides, many good people are raised by parents who are not virgin when they got married.

9. GETTING MARRIED AS A VIRGIN DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY ATTRACTS GOD FAVOUR
God's favour is recieved on the basis of his goodness, our preparation ànd wisdom. It has nothing to with wether we are Virgin or not when we got married. Mary was not the only pure Virgin in Israel at her time but God decided to choose her, Rahab was a prostitute with a well known office yet she was in Jesus' genealogy, so it is on the basis of his sovereignty

10. As much as I canvass for sexual purity among young people, I cannot but mention the fact that God loves those who are not virgin, he wants them to live their lives according to his Dictate and he loves them just as if they have never lost their virginity.
He is not pleased with those who look down on them for by so doing they make themselves righteous by their own doing.

Viral Latest NYSC Registration SCAM Every PCMs Should Beware Of

There is a saying that if you are not informed, you will be deformed. Corpers forum do not want anyone to be deformed or fall victim of any lies or scams whatsoever. We exist to give you up to date information and also warn you of any red flag ahead.

The latest scam outside going viral about NYSC registration now is something you should beware of. You should not allow anyone to fool you or think you are dumb enough to fall victim of their cheap trick.

Some set of people who really want to make a fool of graduates goes to sites like nairaland, Facebook, FB groups and pages where you droped your number to join a whatsapp group for better information and communication with fellow Prospective corp members.

They then copy your numbers from there and send you a message that you have been mobilized for NYSC, therefore, you should visit a particular Centre to do your NYSC registration.

Read the message below:
“You hav been mobilized for NYSC A17. Visit shop 14 Bakassi Hall Yabatech from Apr 20th- May 15th, 2017 for your e-registration”

We all know that the sender want you to visit that particular address for your NYSC registration. But does he really have to fool you to do so?

This was reported to me at first and I did not want to post anything about it. Because I think that’s a business strategy. Until I got a call from someone from Ilesha in Osun state asking me that does she have to visit Lagos for NYSC registration?

After I got few mails about the issue, I decided to let every Prospective Corp members know that that message is not for NYSC.

How can you be mobilized when you have not done registration? It’s not done that way. You have to do your NYSC registration first.
In case you receive that message, discard it. It’s just some guys who want to make fool of you to make more money.

I don’t know about the address, I don’t know about the shop. I am not saying the shop or the address is a scam. I am just saying that message up there is a way to fool many graduates.

Every platforms has got their terms and some particular languages and terms dedicated to the field. I remember “Register”, a very nice topic back in secondary school. Under which we learnt that some statements, words and grammars can only be valid when used according to a particular field.

A doctor referring to a “patient” as a ‘client’ (although some doctors do that) is a hilarious as calling a group of people watching a football match in a stadium ‘congregation’

Imagine calling ‘prisoners’ students and calling ‘passengers’ inmates. Very funny. Now I guess you are laughing.
Any of those words up there are correct, but they can be ridiculous when used outside the field they are specified with.
As Every platform, so also is NYSC. There are some terms dedicated to NYSC and all Corpers, prospective Corps Members and even all graduates should know.

There are thousands of these terms everywhere. This list is in fact endless. But I am just giving you 10 of the important ones.

1. NYSC
I don't want to assume you already know this. It's National Youth Service Corps. That's the name of the scheme you found yourself right now. That’s the full meaning. So that Pulse TV did not find you funny one day.

It brings together youths from Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges every year to serve their father land. Usually in non-indigenous states. You will be posted to a far place.

2. ORIENTATION CAMP
That is the first arm of NYSC.
It is the camping of the prospective corpers for 3 weeks of great training, rehabilitation and preparation for the task ahead of them. Its always somehow at first, but as time goes on, it will turn out to be the best.

3. PPA
This means Place of Primary Assignment. That is the exact place u will be posted, to serve after camp.

That is the place you will spend the whole of your service year immediately you eave camp.
It may be School, Ministry, Bank, Industry e.t.c depending on your discipline and luck.

But mind you, as at 2015, 70% of the corp members are now being posted to schools. School is always fun. You have your weekends, holidays and close by 2pm. So much time for yourself.

4. CDS
Community Development Service
When you leave camp, you will be posted to join one of the CDS groups in your local government. That is where you will perform your duty to humanity, by meeting other corpers there to develop the community to which you are posted.
CDS members do have their meetings once in a week. Very important.

You can also embark on your own personal CDS which qualifies you for an award at the end of the service year.
We have several examples of people who did well and execute their personal CDS and received an award for that.

5. LGI
Local Government Inspector
That man is your boss in your local government during your service year. You need to be good to him or her. In case you want to change your PPA after documentation, you really need his or her backing.
Respect him and obey him.

6. ZI
Zonal Inspector
That is the NYSC official in charge of all the corpers in a particular Zone.
Both the corpers and the LGI answers to him. Fear him.

7. LETTER OF DEPLOYMENT
That is the letter you will be issued while leaving camp. A Letter that will indicate the local government and the exact place you are posted to.
On it, is the local government and PPA you have been posted to serve. It would be given to you the last day on orientation camp.
Make sure you get yours before you leave camp.

8. ALLOWANCE (Alawi)
Your monthly payment.
Still #19,800 for now. You will receive your first allowee on camp. It can be paied to your account or given to you in cash.
Don’t mis-spend it. Save some. Because you don’t know how the place you will be posted will be.

9. PV
Payment Voucher
Is the form you will fill and sign every month to qualify you for your Monthly "Allowee". You will be doing clearance every first week of the month depending on your local government.
Without it; no payment and Corper go suffer.

You will also sign your first PV on camp.

10. SAED
Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development
This is a scheme established starting right from camp to help corp members acquire or skill or the other before they finish their service year. The scheme will run for like a week in camp, but you can decide to continue the program after camp (post-camp training).
Its recorded as the most boring moments on camp. But I can assure you, if you develop an interest, you will never regret it.

1. Cultures/ Tradition
Do you know most youths have not travelled out of their state of origin or resident? Scrapping NYSC will prevent most youth to experience or learn other cultures. I recently finished my NYSC program of which I served in Anambra state. I can vehemently tell you that knowing the culture and tradition of the Anambrans changed my orientation towards the Igbo people and increased my love for business. There is always something you will learn from other cultures and traditions.

2. Alawee
#19,800? That's too small! Only feeding will consume more than half of it! I won't lie to you, I also complained about the money. But do you really think if NYSC is no more, you can get 19800 every month after finishing school considering the Nigeria economy? This small alawee has saved many youths from begging money from parents, uncle, friends after school. I can tell you that many youths don't even get up to that alawee in a month after finishing their NYSC. Do you know the money most people saved from their Alawee is what they use to survive after NYSC before their dream job? It might be funny to you, but it is true.

3. Life Partner
I don't need to tell you that many people met their lost rip during the one year NYSC program. I can still remember the song we sang at orientation camp ''When corper marry corper them go born ... wink''. So many married people met their partner at the orientation camp, some at their PPA and some even met theirs in the host community. A lot of persons might not see their missing rip if NYSC is scrap- funny but true.

4. Job Opportunities
We have talked about Cultures, Alawee, and Life partner, let's Talk about Job opportunities. During NYSC program- Most graduates are fortunate to work in an organization where they are being retained after the one year program. Apart from your PPA, there can also be several job openings in the community or state where you served. Scrapping NYSC will deprive so many of job.

5. Experience
NYSC program serves as a good platform to gain experience. 70% of corps are being posted to schools which is also a good place to gain experience. I don't need to tell to include it as experience in your CV.

The much awaited date for the passing out parade of NYSC 2016 Batch A Stream II announced.

The announcement was made via NYSC official twitter handler yesterday during the question and answer session conducted by NYSC managements yesterday.

For those of you who were not aware, NYSC directorates organized a question and answer series for all graduates world wide yesterday on twitter.

During the conversation, Ayomikunleyin Noah asked
"Good day sir, please can we know the exact date for passing out for stream II batch A 2016. thanks"

and NYSC officials replied via the official twitter handler NYSC HQ Nigeria @nysc_ng:
"May 24th, 2016"

So we are working with that date for now till we hear again from NYSC. As we all know that anything can change anyhow.

However, for now, the official date for Batch a Stream II 2016 Corps members is May 24th, 2017

corpersforum, any advice you can give. A friend of mine graduated since 2014 and her results have been approved by senate but she has not been lucky with mobilization. Last year her name was omitted for batches A and B. Anything she can do to prevent such from happening again?

she should check her name on NYSC portal if it has been verified....thats if her school already uploaded the senate list.... She should not panic or be worried... tell her it will be fine..
