7 Reasons Not To Fake NYSC Medical Certificate is a list of reasons why you need to be 100% real and not make any attempt to fake the mandatory NYSC medical certificate.

During the 2016 Batch B Orientation camp, several Prospective Corp Members lost their lives. The families of the fallen heroes blamed the NYSC body, founding their reasons on the drilling of Soldiers and strict trainings on camp. Many parents even filed cases against the Federal Government demanding for a huge amount of money as damages.

Due to this and coupled with few developments, NYSC decided to mandate the Medical certificate for every mobilized PCMs in other to be an attempt to prevent the death occurrences repeating itself and also to discover the health capacity of every PCMs.
Also to ensure quality and discourage illegal acts, only results from Federal Hospitals and Military hospitals are valid.

However, for one or two reasons, some people might want to bypass or even forge the medical certificate so that they do not need to face the stress of going to the hospital. That's the short Cut Policy.

Here are 7 Reasons why you should not Fake NYSC Medical Certificate

1. It is Illegal
This does not need any more explanation. It is purely illegal to submit a fake medical report at NYSC orientation camp. It's called Forgery, Impersonation, Bribery and Yahoo. Which is an offence according to Nigeria constitution and if you are caught, you could visit the Dark room for months.

2. Your Real State Of Health Is Important
There is a saying that 'You should never lie to your Doctor' It's true because it's about your health. It's about the status of your body. If you forge a medical certificate without the real status of your health, you are only putting yourself in danger.
It's the best if you take the tests and get to know your health status. It will help you a lot.

3. It Might Be Followed
What if NYSC put a call through to the hospital you claimed you got your certificate from? NYSC is operated by the Federal Government and the Government knows everything, because they are the Government.

4. You Might End up having the ailments
This is funny, but it can happen, it is very possible. Let’s say, because you want NYSC to post you very close to your house, you lied in your Medical report that you have HIV Aids, Hepatitis, Tuberculosis, romatism and even spiritual problem. You say you are Positive to all those deadly diseases so that you can be posted back home for treatment.
The fact is that, what you say about yourself with your mind and mouth really matters a lot.

5. Emergency
What if you fake your medical certificate and you claim that you don’t have any ailment. People always faint and develop one thing or the other during orientation camp. In fact, people faint anyhow. Due to change of environment, camp drilling and so on. In case you fake your certificate claiming you are 100% fit and you faint or develop a fault. They check through your record and that’s confusion. Since your record says you are fit, they might treat you for another thing entirely. And the end result might lead to death.

6. Your Parents Might be contacted
NYSC might decide to verify your medical report by putting up a call to your parents at home. Imagine you fake a certificate that claim you have 12 deadly diseases, and then your parents or guardians are contacted, how they would be able to handle it.

Multi-talented artiste, Asa, during her just concluded show revealed she had to wait 10 hours to get her first audition with a popular band in France.

This was made known by the brilliant songwriter at her Asa Encore concert which took place on Saturday night at EKO Hotel & Suites, Lagos.

“When I first go to France, I used to sing and play my guitar at bars. One day, someone walked up to me and told me about a band that had just won a Grammy saying I could audition,” she said.

“So I went there, got there on time (that is a problem for me) in the cold. I had just come from Lagos without warm clothes.

“I got there and they told me to wait that they were rehearsing for their show and I waited 10 hours.

“I was hungry, mad and was asking myself what are you doing here, why don’t you just leave. They had finished and they were packing up and someone remembered that I was outside.

“I was invited to sing and I put all that emotion, all the sadness, pain and anger in the song. On the day of their show, they gave me two minutes to perform, I got signed and my first album was released.

“If I had left that day, I don’t know what would have happened.”

Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has posted details of his salary for April 2017 on social media.

Sanusi uploaded the information on Tuesday morning via his verified Instagram account.

It came with the caption: “Pay slip… Since colonial times, the Emir of Kano is the highest paid public office holder in Nigeria. Period.”

According to the payslip, Sanusi earned a gross income of N1,312,500 with a PAYE deduction of N62,625.

Sanusi’s net income for April amounted to N1,246,875.

YENAGOA—Some members of a militant group that killed an army captain and two policemen at Ikorodu, Lagos State, last month, have been confirmed killed by troops of the Joint Task Force in the Niger Delta, code named Operation Delta Safe, Sunday night. The militants were reportedly gunned down in an attack on troops’ location around Ajakpa community in the creeks of Southern Ondo State, led by the gang leader, Ossy Ibori.

According to a statement by the Coordinator, Joint Media Campaign Centre, Operation Delta Safe, Major Abubakar Abdullahi, the gang leader, Ossy, was gunned down during the gun battle, along with some of his gang members. Abdullahi said the body of the gang leader was identified by some of the locals in the area, adding “search for other criminals, who jumped into the water with gunshot wounds, is ongoing as troops had recovered one AK-47 rifle and four magazines.”

The special security forces in the statement recalled that criminal gangs led by late Ossy Ibori have been terrorising parts of Lagos, Ogun and Ondo states prior to the operation. It said: “They committed many atrocities, threatening the peace and security of the general area. Last month, the gang killed an Army Captain and two policemen in Ikorodu. “Late last year they abducted students and staff of a secondary school. They also carried out several attacks at Ese-Odo around Ajakpa, Safarogbo and Balowo areas.”

JTF also confirmed the death of a soldier during the clash, with three others sustaining gunshot wounds and moved to military hospital. The statement said: “The need to flush them out from their hideout became necessary to ensure peace and security in Ondo State. Sadly in the process, one gallant soldier paid the supreme price, while three others sustained wounds.”

They have since been moved to military hospital for proper medical attention. “While the operation is ongoing, let me appeal to law-abiding residents of the affected communities to remain calm, vigilant and support our troops with valuable information on the whereabouts of other criminals.”

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police in Lagos, Mr. Fatai Owoseni, confirmed the killing to newsmen yesterday, while identifying the suspect as OC. Owoseni said the incident was part of efforts to apprehend members of the gang and other criminals that had made lived miserable for Nigerians. He said that the gang retreated back to their base in Ijapa in Ondo State because they could no longer lay claim to the creeks in Isawo area, Ikorodu.

Also reacting, Ondo State Police command said Naval authorities have deployed gunboats and other security apparatus to the troubled areas. The command image maker, Femi Joseph, ýtold Vanguard that normalcy had returned to the riverine communities. Joseph appealed to residents to go about their duties as security agencies are determined to rid the southern senatorial district of the state of criminals. A very reliable source had disclosed that the deceased was lured out of the creeks, where he was hiding with others, by his girlfriend. The source added:

“Unknown to him that the military operatives had been monitoring their movement and activities. “As soon as he came out to meet his girlfriend, the soldiers were around him and as he tried to escape, he was gunned down.”
