Although the constitution do not say that each states should pay Corp members but at least, what is good is good. Corpers are serving their father land on a strange land and environment. The states Governments have the ability to be paying some certain amounts at least to encourage the youths.

When i was posted to Plateau State to serve my father land, i was very happy because i thought that Corpers serving in Plateau state will enjoy so many goodies.

I thought to myself that that the person who established NYSC General Yakubu Gowon was born in Kanke, a Local government in Plateau state. However, i was not only disappointed, i was mesmerized when i actually discover it’s otherwise.

Apart from the #19,800 by the federal government, the state Government is also responsible at least a little for Corp members. Some states see it as a development to be paying Corpers serving in the state, why some states don't just care at all.
The list might not be 100% accurate, because changes is very effective in Nigeria as people change things anyhow.

I compiled a list of states in Nigeria and how much they are paying corp members serving under them. let’s take a look at the lists below:

I already started the Countdown right here. In 7 days, thats Next week Thursday on the 4th, May 2017, Batch A Stream II will say Good bye to NYSC and move on with life.

I was at my Local Government yesterday where i was given the 2B form, the Final Clearance and the Foundation Form. I was also told categorically that by Next week Thursday, My NYSC Certificate would be given to me.

We have heard of several deaths just a few days before Passing Out Parade, but i pray to God that death will not be your Portion In Jesus Name.

You will not use your certificate inside the prison yard

The NYSC Management has announced that details of part-time graduates have been uploaded by institutions on the NYSC Portal.

All part-time graduates concerned are advised to visit the NYSC portal to check for their names on the uploaded senate/academic board lists and register to enable them print their exclusion letter.

Note that the registration for NYSC exemption letter for part-time graduates 2017 closes 15th May, 2017.

As Batch A Stream II Corp members have been waiting patiently for the NYSC management to talk after the first Passing out date was announced via NYSC official twitter handle. As 24th of this month has been thrown into the bin.

However, the latest circular released and signed by the NYSC management has confirmed that 2016 Batch A Stream II Corp members passing out date is 4th May 2017.

For now, the valid day for NYSC Batch A Stream II Passing Out day is 4th May 2017

The circular was released and its the latest news about 2016 Batch A Stream II passing out parade so far.

The circular read below:

I wish to inform you that management has approved that the 2016 Batch "A" winding-up/passing out should be low key. Please note that Corps members of 2016 Batch 'A" Stream II will pass out on Thursday 4th May 2017. Accordingly, below is the programme of activities.

i. Friday 21st- Friday 27th April 2017

(a). Job creation and awareness week, sensitization of Corps members on Job creation opportunity after service. This will be done at the local government level using relevant officers.

ii. Friday 28th April- Monday 1st May 2017

(a). Release of Passing out Corps Members by employers
(b). Registration/Clearance of corps Members, information on condition for issuance of certificate of national service

iii. Tuesday 2nd May - 3rd may 2017

(a). Signing of final clearance by Zonal inspectors
(b). Debriefing/Evaluation of service year
(c). Administration of Questionnaire (From 4B) on passing out Corps members
(d). State farewell party to be presided over by the Governor of the state.

iv. 4th May 2017

(a). Distribution of certificate of national service to deserving Corps at Local government level.

As prospective corp members are doing their own registration now, you that are on for re-mobilization and re-validation will also be doing your own registration.

If your own is re-validation or re-mobilization, you don't need to visit a Cafe, you can do it by yourself if your phone is strong or lets just do it for you...

Re-validation and Re-mobilization are very easy to do. And like i said, if your phone is very strong, you can do it by yourself.

The fact is that, you don't need to go to a Cafe or join the long queue at a registration center. You can do it own your own or we do it for you here on Corpers Forum free of charge. And we will print and send your Green Card to you immediately.

5 Popular Myths about NYSC registration is a list of some false conception that people have about NYSC registration. We are getting few things wrong.

NYSC registration is very close and prospective Corp Members must have heard a lot of things.

Myths are irrational explanation about a particular thing. They are tagged as irrational explanations because they don't provide a near accurate evidence or prove about their subject.

Myths are false or wrong conceptions or impressions we have toward a particular thing.

Corpers Forum is here to present to you 5 popular Myths about NYSC registration and the truth about them.

1. Registration Begins 12am

Myth: The NYSC Registration Portal will be open by exactly 12am of the day
Many people believe that since the registration date is 20th of April 2017, then the NYSC Portal will be Open at exact 12am of the day. So you have to spend your night awake at the cafe or wherever so that you can register on time.

Fact: The portal will not be open at exact 12am. You are free to sleep and enjoy your night.
I fell for that believe too. My friends and I, a day before the day, we went and spent the night on campus waiting for 12am. We were not alone off course. Many graduates like us were there. 12am exactly, we all rushed to the stand only to discover that the portal I not yet opened. We waited till around 10am of the day.

We slept and woke up around 3pm.

We were sleeping while others are doing their registrations. So funny.

Judging based one just one experience is not a good one. Apart from my experience, ask around, you will hear few more experiences.
If you want to flex through the night, it's okay. But thinking that the portal will open by exact 12am is a false claim.

2. First Come First Serve.

Myth: If you register early, you will be posted to a good place.
This one is really very common. I believe there are other ways we ex Corper can form for these Prospective Corps Members than giving them false impressions.

Many would say if you register on time, especially immediately when the portal opened, you would be posted to a good City like Lagos, Abuja, and Kano etc.

Fact: The posting is randomly, relax and take your time.
Registering earlier does not mean you would be posted to a good city.

Note, there is no bad city anywhere. So you don't need to rush yourself and make mistakes filling the form. You will be posted to a place. It's now your choice to make it good or bad.

3. You cannot register by yourself

Myth: You can't do the NYSC registration by yourself, you have to use a registration centre or a Cyber Cafe.
This I not very true, the fact is below

Fact: You can do the registration by yourself.

The only reason why they say you should go to a Cyber cafe is just for the sake of the finger print scanner external gadget. If you can get it or you have a friend who have one. You can use it. The passport would be snapped with your phone or through your system webcam.

During my day, my friend and I, we did only the thumb print verification at a Cafe and since we passed that level, we completed it by ourselves on our system.

Once you have a good network and passed the thumb printing verification, you can do it all on your own.

4. You will get a fitted NYSC kit if you fill the measurement part of the form correctly.

Myth: Make sure you fill the measurement aspect of the form correctly and you will get a fitted NYSC kit during orientation camp.
There I an aspect of the form where you need to enter your measurement details. Your size, length and the rest. People believe if you fill it accurately, you will get a fitted kit.

Fact: That aspect of the form is just for formality sake. If you are a professional tailor or you consulted one, you will still be disappointed when you will still be given an Oversize or inaccurate kits at camp. It's normal.
What you fill there I not what you will get.

5. If you fill the state selection aspect exactly as your friend, you will be posted to the same place

Myth: You have a friend and you wish to serve in the same place. Fill the state selection aspect of the form exactly as your friend and you will be posted to same state.
Is that funny to you? Am asking because it I very funny to me.

Fact: The posting is randomly, nothing I ever certain.
If you are posted to the same state as your friend, it's just luck. IT'S not because you filled or select the same states as your friend.

NYSC registration starts tomorrow 20th April 2017. So let me inform you about some important things...

Information is a powerful one. In other for you to be informed, I am presenting 11 things you Must Know Before NYSC registration.

1. U must have a functional email or gmail. DO NOT make use of d cyber cafe man email. If u don't have create a new 1. It's simple and easy to create. A gmail is better... You can indicate below a that I can create 1 for you in case you don't know how.

2. Make sure you Register with your active phone number. DO NOT also use the cyber man's phone number.
As times goes on, you will getting text messages from NYSC management. Important message you don't want to miss. So your active phone number will be a life saver.

3. After registration, keep checking your mail. A URL address would be sent directly to your mail. That address will redirect you to an NYSC website where you can print ur green card.
Do not miss that.

4. You will pay #3,000 preferably online with your debit cart (mastercard or verve not visa). It is mandatory if you want to print the letter online. But you can go back to your institution to collect for free.

5. You must do your Biometric verification by yourself. Somebody cannot do it for you. Make sure you complete the process. It is very important. Don't allow anyone to do it for you. If your thumb I not showing, don't tell a guy beside you to quickly do it for you. Do it by yourself.

5. The 3 official NYSC websites are:

nysc.org.ng
portal.nysc.org.ng

6. Four states will be chosen from 4 geopolitical zones. Note: u will not be posted to your state of origin and state you graduated from.

7. In d camp, u will need d following 4 clearance letter, call-up letter (original), school ID, medical fitness paper from a government hospital and original statement of result. Do not laminate.

8. You print your call up letters from your mails. Make sure you change your password after printing so that the cyber man wont go to your mail without your consent.

You can even print on your phone, so to a flash drive and print it. With a Colored Printer.

9. Your Green Card and Call Up Letter should be printed with colored printer and not black and white printer.

10. Do your registration by yourself or be actively present when doing it. Some information would be collected via the form that you can't just leave for someone to guess for you.

11. Do not forget to REGISTER and tell your friends about Corpers forum. And also share your camp experiences on this platform

Though you will still have the opportunity to edit few things later. But it's just better you fill in this information by yourself.

How to make money with NYSC registration is a question that most people do not pay serious attention to.

How about I tell you that you can make a lot of money during this coming NYSC registration.

Many would not want to share this with you, but why won't i? Even f we are in the same state, you will have your customers and i will have mine.

Thousands and thousands of Prospective Corp Members all over our prestigious university are over everywhere in Nigeria. And since they are everywhere in Nigeria, that means no matter where you are in this country, you can make some money with this idea am about to share with you.

This idea is for business oriented individuals. It's fun and if you are serious about it, you can make it a big deal.

The idea is this: You will create your own Registration centre where PCMs can come and do their NYSC online registration.

That's it. Simple and straight forward. I have seen NYSC registration centres that charge #2,000, #1,500 and #1,000 respectively. It depends on your area.

Imagine you Open a registration centre and you Charge #1,000 per registration. If 50 people come to register, that's #50k. If 100 people visit your center, that's #100k. Easy way to make money.

There is no where you are that there won't be thousands of Prospective Corp Members who want to do the NYSC registration.

What Do You Need To Start
I will not only give you the idea, I will tell you what you need to start. Don't worry, you can thank me later.
Here is a list of what you need to start.

1. A Space
You don't have to go and rent a shop or build a Container. You just need an open space where you can place a table and a chair and a little space where people can stay. Get a good location.

2. Electricity Or A Small Generator
You offcourse need electricity. And if you have a friend who have a small generator, he can be useful.

3. A Laptop/Desktop With a Webcam
You really need one. If you already have one, then you are good to go.

4. Internet Connection.
You can get a Modem of #3,000 and also confirm which network is good in that area and then subscribe on the modem.

5. Finger Print Scanner
The Biometric verification is mandatory. So you need to get this gadget anywhere around you.

6. A Good Communication Attitude.
Nothing interests a customer than making them feel valued and wanted. Don't think because they need you, you can now talk to them anyhow. Am sure you understand what I meant.

* You could do a bill and paste in few places. It worth it.

I have tried this before and it worked well. That's why am sharing with you.

I strongly believe someone will try this out and come to this forum to thank me later. I know some will discard this and even try to discourage people who want to try it. But i can assure you, if you can put your mind at this, you will smile and even call me to say it worked out.
