But will they live?

Nature can be cruel

In fact, cruelty is part of Nature's essence

or how else can I explain that Lions kill the cubs of ousted males just to get the females in heat?

That's like somebody chasing you out of your home and then kills your kids just to sleep with your wife
In nature, there's no cruelty, there's no evil and there's no good.
Nature is neutral, only man or an external observer can qualify anything natural as good or evil. Nature just takes Its course deligently.

As if nature send you and your judgements of what's good or evil undecided

As for me I think the guy shouldn't have run away, that is a cowardly act....collect the ring and move her away from the scene then you can now reject her privately....and on the lady part I am irritated right now,she showed a lot of desperation....that is what happens when a lady is very desperate to get married and also the clueless society made it look like marriage is the biggest achievement in life....nonsense....honestly I am ashamed of how she was shamefully ashamed of the embarrassing embarassment...see the way her friend or sister was even embarrassed too...if the guy want to spend his life with her he would have proposed to her on his own....

Personal God

Chi means God in Igbo linguistics that is why the supreme God in Igbo pentheon is called Chukwu, a lingual sum of the word "Chi" and "Ukwu"

But on this note "Chi" is just God and it is personal. Peculiar to every individual. Everyone have their own Chi and your Chi determines your fate. Nothing happens or will happen without your Chi's approval and therefore you must at all times be in good terms with your chi because your Chi is like a spiritual essence that defines you.

The spiritual essence that defines your fate and life.

God of power, war, strength and wealth. Functions as an Alusi but also can be made a personal patron.

According to Igbo cosmogony. Everyone alive already has a Chi. So basically your Chi is there already you only need to make a connection with your Chi.

Doesn't necessarily have to include a physical shrine for your personal God but that helps amplifies the powers of your chi in this natural world.
I said it before. The pagans are United in belief. A personal chi, a personal Ori..... all same but different terms cos of language.

And the rest rhymes. Alusi and Orisas et all.

I read somewhere that"pagans" once meant "real dwellers" or "people of the land".

This forced maturity is hurting Africa abeg.... undecided

Where's Folykaze when you need him?

Please can u shed more light on the Spirituality aspect BC most of us have lost touch with our native tradition as a result of not being born and raised at home
Exactly...

I'm from Delta State but I know about Yoruba traditional beliefs more than that of where I'm from. Was born in the Yoruba land.

But I'm very greedy. I want to know what they all talk about, not just one. I believe it's all nature worship and I'm okay with any nature worshipper, ( if u've met as much nature worshippers that I have met, you would feel same)..

And don't mind all those Nollywood nonsense. Na ignorance plus mumu dey worry them.

I like this thread.

I as a person leans well on the African traditional religion. I have always had the idea that us as Africans abandoning this religion to adopt foreign ones is stupid on our own part.

I am currently writing a story to bring African mythology to the modern world "Legends of Amadioha" and after this numerous seminars and talk shows will follow.

I am glad to be here and ready to answer questions of Igbo religion and spirituality
Please do mention me when it's ready and direct me to any of the talks.

I'm only a bit versed in Yoruba traditional beliefs, not even my own Delta (know absolutely nothing about it undecided )

Would appreciate it mate.. wink

Exactly! It was the same thing I did.I picked the right ones and abandoned the wrong ones.
If you are to be pragmatic about nature and it's ways, you would support Robert Greene entirely.

Only what is not favourable to you as a person is bad undecided It's no one else's business.

In nature, there's scarcely any good or evil. Any favourable situation is good and the opposite for unfathomable situations. But at the end, as an observer, we will be the ones to quantify each situation and separate or even label them as either good or bad.

There's a saying.... One man's food is another man's poison.

What you call good could be called bad by someone else and vis-a-vis. Dig?

But no mind Greene, he's a hard pragmatic bastard. And I love him for that, wish I could be as hard as him. lipsrsealed

I like the book and all laws are acceptable if you take the Reversals to mind.

It's just a book that will make you trust less and help you curb the illusion of love.

Very few people love truly. The rest want something. Some is to feel self gratified, some others is to create smoke screens (impression of being kind-hearted).

You can't review that book in a million words. It's just too broad.

Read the book and will still read it if not that a friend that barely reads stole it (goes to show how persuasive that book is) grin

All in all, I still feel the book will make you want to model yourself to some of it's laws but if you're foolish enough, you wouldn't take the Reversals to heart and that will be your undoing.

In life, in every situation, as a human, a sensible person, Know what you want and make sure after all the chit chats and mumbo-jumbo you leave each situation with what you want else,, make I no talk.... wink

I watched it..I think he is a real prophet of God going by the fulfilment of his previous prophecies which came to pass.God will help Nigeria.Too many fake clergies out there.

More startling when i listened to him..is that by devine revelations from above the present Pope Francis is the False prophet talked about in Revelation 13 and he will make the way for the Beast.. whose political capital will be in Germany. They will make everyone come under one religion(No christian, no muslim, no hindu).
