Phones / Re: Get 9mobile 1gb Data For Just N200 Or Get 5gb For N1000 by Corson: 6:41am On Feb 27, 2018
Oga OP, thanks for this information.

I read about this particular plan about a week ago. Instantly, I called 9mobile customer care on Saturday (24th February, 2018) to complain about some issues and to also enquire about the said promo.

The respondent told me that it's only for new subscribers. Immediately after the call, I went to 9mobile office at Polo Park, Enugu to get a new sim.

Registered. Recharged. Tried the USSD *929*10# and it says I'm not qualified. Same story on my old 9mobile sim.

In other news, I don't think it's general, but only for selected people like someone claimed on the thread I heard about it first.

Meanwhile, what tariff plan are you on?

I can pay N1 per follower for the Instagram

Sir, that's too low of an asking price. The account barely follows anyone, so after buying you need not waste time unfollowing anyone.

The price is ₦15 per follower. And yes, it can be reduced further, but that's the price for the time being.

In case you didn't notice sir, this is my personal account, no 'fake oyinbo people' as followers. 99% are real hardcore Nigerians.

ignorance is a huge disease. You have already judged the state of Enugu camp which you have not been to in a negative light just because a group of elements told you so? Some people will rather stay in their hellwhole and talk trash about places better than theirs. Oga go and report to your camp next week so you can serve and get back to your region asap.

Yes, I have judged it based on multiple first hand experiences and detailed accounts of Corp members (a group of elements) who were in the Enugu Camp a little over a month ago.

If you feel aggrieved by this, it's none of my God damn concern.

I can sense too much tribalism in your post. Why not go there and find out yourself rather than believe so much lies? The truth is that you might not want to go back to your own state after your service year in Enugu

It's none of my business how your senses work. I have friends, ex-classmates, and acquaintances who were posted to Enugu from Stream I (2017 Batch B), and that's what they reported about the camp.

It's not a lie because I have more than a single source attesting to the bad/poor state of the Enugu camp. And, who said I'm not going there myself? God willing, I will go there to see with my own eyes.

I might not want to go back to my own state? Old man, tell that to people without a plan for their lives. I have a plan for my life, and staying back in Enugu after my service isn't on the plan bruv.

Please, I would advice you stay on your lane. It cost N0.00 to mind your damn business. It's 2018 and toxic people are not allowed in my life. Thank you sir, regards to your family.

I don't blame Peter, I will probably do the same.

Jude is not a good leader, a good leader brings his team together against all odds and make sacrifices to ensure togetherness. Just like our parents did for us, starve while we eat, buy clothes for us instead buying for thenselves, eat only twice a day so that they can afford our school fees all because they want a better future for us, that's the sacrifice a good leader makes.

Jude being the oldest should be uniting not dividing, it seems Jude teamed up with Paul, and when the fight was 2 against 1. The only other ammunition Peter had was his cell phone.

Thank you. Especially when they started threatening him with death (The coffin part of the video). Jude almost got physical with Peter while Paul watches. I don't want to take side, but people keeps attacking Peter as if he's the only person at fault.

Why would peter release this disgraceful vid to the public? Very immature

Peter was totally wrong to have leaked the video. No good can come out of exposing your family's issues for every Tom dick and harry to see. On the contrary, he has done more damage to the situation on ground

Peter no try at all. Why capture the whole thing on camera and release it to the public? Brothers fight in almost every family. You should not put your family squabbles in the public square and expose yourselves to public ridicule

otijah:
Peter is the most foolish and ungrateful one among the duo. If not for Paul there wouldn't have been any psquare today, he does the writing and singing while Peter is just there to dance. Tell me how your twin brother would give birth and you openly refuses to celebrate him just bc ur wife told u not to. Peter is soo irrational when it comes to thinking, every little misunderstanding in d family is a form of getting attention on social media
Wasnt surprised when I heard that peter recorded that video and leaked it online to gain sympathy. He is a coward a big one and I pay he regrets at last bc dude is soo wack that him and Airfoce1 are on the same category

All of you keep saying the same thing, repeating the same lines about Peter. Well, it's within your right to do so.

But, when anyone threatens to kill me, even come with my coffin, I'll do more than release a video, I'll inform the appropariate authorities in case I suddenly die. I don't know which video you guys watch but the one watched, Jude alongside Paul were openly threatening to bring Peter's coffin (kill him).

You're right. But this is commendable, not because she's a woman or because she's a Muslim.

But the requirement to become a 'ceremonial President' as you said, is very high.

Here:
The other two contenders, Salleh Marican and Farid Khan, were both denied eligibility., Having fallen short of a constitutional rule that required any candidate from the private sector to have led a company with shareholder equity of at least 500 million Singapore dollars (372 million dollars).

If this is what they require from a mere 'ceremonial President'. Abeg, wetin be the requirement for being a Prime Minister who controls everything + more power?

Probably this is one of the reasons why they are progressing at lightening speed.

Female president in a Muslim country..

Wow... Interesting. Congrats to her.

As a Muslim, I'd like to point out that Singapore is not a Muslim country. In fact, Muslims only constitute only about 14% of the population.

Ihutomi:
An Islamic country wow am impressed

She's not the first. Bangladesh currently has a female Prime Minister; her name is Sheikh Hasina.

What's the difference between a Muslim country and an Islamic country?

First and foremost, one should know that people that follow Islam are known as Muslims. The same way people who follow Judaism are known as Jews, Christianity as Christians, Hinduism as Hindus, Buddhism as Buddhists. Right, that being said, cleared and explained. Let's move on.

Most time on Nairaland, I see people use 'Muslim country' & 'Islamic country' wrongly in their post, and I just want to correct that mistake.

A state can be referred to as a MUSLIM COUNTRY if the majority of its citizens are Muslims, e.g. Turkey, Gambia & Chad. By constitution, some of these countries are also secular, just that they have more Muslims than any other religion. For example, India has more than 80% Hindu citizens, but it's still a secular country, not a Hindu country.

Similarly, Israel is a secular state even though more than 75% of its citizens are Jews, 17% Muslims, 2% Christians and other religions share the rest. At times, Israel is referred to as a Jewish State; this is just to show that it has a Jewish majority, not because the Constitution said so.

An Islamic country, on the other hand, is a country which by law declares itself to be an Islamic country, e.g. Islamic Republic of Iran, Saudi Arabia, Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The norm for these countries is to use Shari'ah as their legal system, but some of them do sprinkle a little bit of democracy once in a while.

hello, if you buy Domain from smarthweb then you can use it On other host, it's unethical to force you to use their web host.

I prefer host gator or bluehost, tho they're expensive but go for them, wouldn't want to talk about my experience with smartweb, don't want to condemn someone else business, this is a public forum.

If they still didn't allow you to update your nameserver, then you can get transfer to another domain provider.

You can use your. .com.ng, .net. ng or any domain on all host,.

if you are not clear don't hesitate to ask further question.

Thank you, your explanation is crystal clear and my question = answered. Merci.

While I was waiting for your replies I did a little bit more research, and I realised that some of these companies their primary business is web hosting, and they are not resellers to anyone, e.g. 1and1, HostGator, GoDaddy, and Bluehost. Also, some are just domain registrar with web hosting as a side business. Thus they are probably resellers to some other big companies. With this new knowledge plus the fact that you also suggested HostGator/Bluehost, then I'll go with one of them.

I have just one more clarification, sir, will these foreign hosting companies support any domain extension? Even if it's a .ng / .com.ng ?

Once again, thank you for the swift and apt reply.

Please, I need your advice. I saw your replies on this thread here: https://www.nairaland.com/3718479/nigerian-foreign-host-company#55211778

Can you share your experience with SmartWeb, please? I bought a domain with them yesterday and it appears I'm in soup already.

Also, I would like to know if a hosting package wit unlimited domains from GoDaddy, HostGator or BlueHost will allow me use a .com.ng domain with Google blogger.

With a .com domain, I don't need all these extra works, I buy the domain and I connect it straight to the Blogger blog, but SmartWeb didn't provide me with opportunity to update my DNS, they said I must buy a hosting package. So, if a hosting package is a must, can I use HostGator with a .com.ng domain?
Webmasters / .com.ng Domain And Foreign Host by Corson: 11:28pm On Sep 12, 2017
Hello Webmasters. Please, I need a little bit of help and explanations.

I bought a .com.ng domain and I tried to link it to a Google Blogger account, but I was told by customer support I need a hosting package to do just that. With a .com domain a hosting package isn't needed to connect to blogger platform blogs.

So, here is my questions below masters.

1. Is it possible for me to use a hosting package from GoDaddy or BlueHost with a .com.ng domain? Will a hosting package from these foreign companies work with a .com.ng domain?

2. Is it a general thing with all Nigerian .com.ng registrars? Or just my domain name provider trying to up-sell their other services?

NOTE: MY GOAL IS TO USE MY .COM.NG DOMAIN WITH GOOGLE BLOGGER.

Thank You!

2) In Japan Permanent Residency is not given to Muslims.
3) There is a strong ban on the propagation of Islam in Japan.
4) In the University of Japan, Arabic or any Islamic Language is not taught.
5) One cannot import a ''Koran'' published in the Arabic Language.
6) According to data published by the Japanese Government, it has given temporary residency to only 2 Lakhs. Muslims, who must follow the Japanese Law of the Land. These Muslims should speak Japanese and carry out their Religious Rituals in their homes.
7) Japan is the only Country in the World that has a negligible number of Embassies in Islamic Countries.
cool Muslims residing in Japan are the employees of Foreign Companies.
9) Even today, Visas are not granted to Muslim Doctors, Engineers or Managers sent by Foreign Companies.
10) In the majority of Companies it is stated in their Regulations that NO Muslims should apply for a job.
11) The Japanese Government is of the opinion that Muslims are Fundamentalist, and even in the era of Globalization they are not willing to change their Muslim Laws.
12) Muslims cannot even rent a house in Japan .
13) If anyone comes to know that his neighbor is a Muslim then the whole neighborhood stays alert.
14) No one can start an Islamic Cell or Arabic ''Madrasa'' in Japan .

16) If a Japanese woman marries a Muslim, she is considered an OUTCAST forever.
17) According to Mr. Kumiko Yagi, Professor of Arab/Islamic Studies at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, *"There is a mind frame in Japan that Islam is a very Narrow Minded Religion and one should stay away from it."*

The Japanese might have lost the War, but they are in charge of their own Country.

1. There are Japanese Muslims.
2. There are foreigners who are Muslims, and also living and PRAYING in Japan.
3. There are Mosques in Japan.

Christians, especially those of Northern extraction bearing Arabic names is nothing new.

Lots of Arabic words have been adopted into the Hausa Language.

So it's commonplace seeing Hausa Christians answer names like Suleiman, which corresponds to Solomon. Some Southern Muslims who were born in the north are also given such names. Christians bear names such as Iliya, Auwal, Mustapha, Aliyu, Garba, and the likes.

However, a Muslim bearing Paul is unusual. Because Muslims hate anything Christian. In Northern Nigeria, he would be forced to adopt an Arabic name.

Paul is a biblical name.

He was born Christian but got introduced to the Muslim faith by his mother, a devout Muslim.

His other brother's name is Mathias.

Paul is not Biblical name. Paul is a Roman name.
