October: IELTS for Partner

October : partner point awarded = (ACS assessment + IELTS)

November: point upgraded to 70pts, 500% certain for ITA in the next round based on trend, i even processed my PCC, but then the 300/round plague commenced. At this point it was as if i was the main target because everytime i boost my point, the game gets tough

January 2018: Applied to 489 SA, it was approved after two weeks.

Feb 2018:489 ITA in the bag

February 2018: PTE 10pts
Mar 2018:... 20 POINTS........7th Attempt (3rd attempt in march): big thanks to all my cheerleaders once again

189 EOI updated to 80pts.
489 ITA expired and deleted

April 2018: 189 ITA at long last.

April 27th: Visa Lodged, front all documents except for PCC and Medicals (expecting baby)

August 2018:Added baby to application
contacted for DHA for HAP ID refresh for medicals for everyone.
August 24th: CO contact for PCC and Baby Passport and medicals

August 28th: Processed PCC and medicals

August 29th: Employment Verification

Sept 1st: Responded to CO request.

Sept 14th:Medical Cleared

Sept 20th: GRANT LANDED

In Australia �� Already (Wagga Wagga)Chasing after 190 now.
Came in on student visa 1.5 year course, so getting another visa was imperative. Rounding up studies oct. 2018.

Hello Guys, I have been following this forum for a while, I realized that with Business Degree cant fetch you PR.

Am 24, I have 2yeaars work experience as a Document Controller and finance Personnel. I studied Accounting and finance with CGP of 3.91\4.0 (@ KNUST Ghana) I intend going for MSC in Accounting or Finance or Business Analysis. But seeing that Business degree cant fetch you PR, I want a change of Program.

Please can anyone/ gurus in the house recommend a good business related course that can fetch me a good job and importantly PR while I continue searching.

Visit the migration list ( MLTSSL) . The list is subject to change by the end of every financial year. You may be lucky to get an occupation that suits your need. Nonetheless, accounting is on the list but highly competitive.

Don't be misguided bro, you will be eligible for a post study visa after 2 years of study and not pr. Your two years of study will give you 5 points towards your PR for a point tested stream.

There is an agent who did work permit visa for my friend to travel to Australia directly attached to a company in Australia. The class visa is 459. The agent also said the company will come at the airport to pick them up on there arrival day and also provide accommodation for them when they get there. Please how is that possible? Irrespective of your reason, you were banned from Canada and not all Commonwealth countries. Be reminded that in applying for your Aussie visa, you will be asked if you have been denied a visa to any country at all, alongside the reason for denial. So whether you tell your reason for denial here or not... You still have to tell the CO.
I reckon the guy asked about the denial just for general knowledge. Not to have an insight into your personality.

Depends on country you applying to .... I doubt in Australia though. Except you get a letter to state that your courses were tAught in English. But then, the experience of a proficiency exam is not a waste.... You go Sha still need am for PR purpose. If your school requires, write... If not drink Fanta and buy shoes.

I have finally secured a supervisor that is willing to take me as a Research Assistant for Masters of Teaching ( Secondary) with full funding at university of Melbourne . Question 1: Can the Finance be the reason for this response.

Question 2: Can I still reapply for the same program at the same school...

Question 3: Is the education provider's GTE same as DIBP's GTE...

Q1... It's plausible to assume. However, the GTE isn't limited to finance. Some response to certain questions may have proved irrelevant.
Q2. You may wanna check the admissions FAQS on the uni website. However, If your declination letter didn't state you can't apply again, you can go for Gold.
Q3. I think if you can pass the GTE for your school, you can pass for DHA/DiBP. Once I was completing the GTE for Curtin University, deep down me self de laugh say which kind rubbish questions be this; these folks think say I plan leave Australia after masters?

This is even with an admissions officer who wasn't convinced of how A is related to B. Se na admissions officer wan lecture ? Abi na she write course plan... But they don't just give a F!. That's why the sop is needed to establish a relationship between what an individual has done and intends to do.
Having encountered a lot of international students here in AU, I think writing a convincing sop should even be a must aside the GTE; what the CO or in some cases admission officer wants to see is that you can express yourself as a student.

You will be asked to write career episodes for engineering assessment with EA. Usually, your bachelor is assessed but your masters can make everything easier so long it's accredited and once your episodes align with the roles of a production and plant engineer, then skilled assessment issagoal.

Check the unis offering masters of teaching, look at what they have described as expected outcomes.

That's why I said master of teaching secondary... Not primary. If you choose primary now, mean say you no know werin you de do. But chemistry na secondary school subject.

Now was considering masters in environmental related field so I want to verify if it will be deemed related field especially by visa officers.Or if I must go for a masters in chemistry as someone said you do a masters in line with first degree.

Well, you should know what you want.
Do you want PR or you really want be professional in your career.
While both of em de doable, you need align your plans to fit the other. Familiarise yourself with the migration skilled list, after which you fit Know werin to do Abi masters to come do. That list is subject to change by the end of finay year (June 30,2018)
The masters of teaching weyw I recommend is based on the demand for teachers especially in STEM courses, if you write a remarkable sop I don't see why it won't fly... Plus, if you look well, some schools give scholarships on that.

Bros, you need go do serious homework on your own, instead of coming here to ask these kinda Q. Familiarise yourself with the migration skilled list, then visit the engineers Australia website to check for the accreditation of the course and also the details of the migration skilled assessment.
Just to give you a heads up on your question... This Aussie government can not guarantee shii. Just be proactive and have a plan!

I don't really know how this school thing works. But going by the norm, if a school gives you admission to study, how is the relationship of the course a concern for the visa officer? I have a friend who did chemical engineering first degree and he is doing his masters in environmental engineering on Griffin University Queensland. Can we say these two are actually related? If he was accepted, I believe yours should be accepted as well.

Again, the idea is to study a course that's in demand for PR. I think that should be the major concern.

OGA, the relationship of the course is a big concern to CO ; And there is a link between chemical engineering and environmental engineering. Once I read on this thread an applicant studied geology or so for bachelors, and applied for masters of social works.... Em eyes open @ last.

I have checked the SOL list ,chemistry is there but cannot apply PR for the independent visa class 189 or even 190 & 489 .the visa class it can apply for is 186 which is Employer nomination meaning an employer must nominate you before you can apply, and such employement are hard to get.

Thats the reason I considered school .

I want to ensure the course I am choosing will be deemed related to my first degree.
What do you think?
