Application since MAY. Egbon Bros, calm down. Times have changed. I recommend you endeavour to acquire a skill before you come here, so you don't face the yeye some of us faced on arrival. Also, you have ample time to prepare for your journey and arrival. In addition, you may have been delayed to be able to meet your destiny Epperson #LOL |

Dikachi12: Am single.. Am 30yrs a Chemical engineering graduate in 2012. Worked for Halliburton for 2&half years but it's nt a Chemical engineering role... My greatest challenge is getting positive assessment from EA.. How to get enough chemical engineering experience proofs.. And how to write CDR... I dnt know if there is anyone or firm I can pay to write dat for me... As for IELTS I can score 7.5 and above... Plz I need help on this @bellong I so much dislike when an engineering graduate complains he / she can't write cdr. It's as simple as report writing for your labworks, i.t report, office work report etc, except the engineer's degree is questionable Report writing is a quintessential part of engineering so it shouldn't be a problem, and considering that you worked for a reputable company, bro Goan write your report. Even the so called cdr writers usually ask clients to submit report of jobs they have done. All you need is a guideline i.e you can look at past reports for that. Please download the MSA booklet from the EA website. You got yourself in the mess of the agent by not researching by yourself, and you already looking for people to help you write cdr again. Take your time, don't rush and work with a deadline. download the MSA booklet, everything you need to know about assessment is there. I hope you find this information useful. |

No one knows how long the occupation may remain on the Mltssl for subsequent years. I suggest you do your thing, fill the EOI at 65 and wait, while you are working . The EOI lasts for as long as 2 years, and while waiting you may get an invite. Be reminded, nothing is certain |

dotter8: Hello house. A second opinion woud be well appreciated. Got my visa grant yest monday 24th July 2017 which apparently was my latest start date. I sent school an email yesterday for a further extention informing them of my arrival later this week as the delay was due from the embassy. They responded saying that i should not go ahead with my travel plans that the faculty is not accepting further late enrollments. As such, my recored has been automatically deffered to the nearest enrollement date which is oct/Nov and i was informed abt the issuance of a new coe in few days. I'm really divaststed and confused right now as to what next to do. Could i go to autralia now work before study commence in nov? Bros, you for ask here before you tell Uni. Usually, what some folks did here was to resume anywhow, meet with school later on and end up doing like one English program with the University for about 6 months, as you must remain enrolled in your University, thus giving you more time to settle in adequately(but then it may be different package for ya school). Now that you have received a new instruction, Send an email to dibp, notifying them on the situation at hand and ask them to please advise on necessary steps for way Forward. In my own Understanding, they may just revise your approved visa by changing expiry date. |

KVickky: Anyone is Adelaide or around flinders that can help me out with sourcing accommodation to make it easier and faster for pls reach out.. thank you .. If i reserve a hotel for 3 days be enough for me to find an apartment? Be like you NA millionaire. Well, I recommend you search for back Packers in Adelaide, precisely around Flinders University. You are able to get about $20/ night or thereabout and some even give you a complementary brekkie. However, it isn't a room to yourself, more like a hostel kinda thing so you may be 2/3 in a room or be lucky to have only you in the room. Hotels are quite expensive and in some cases affordable. It depends on how much you have to spend. ALVINkem WA da si o. I will check if my friend can link you up with her buddy in Adelaide too. Best regards |

You've all deviated from my questions which are: **will my 2 employment be sufficient for cod or that's a red flag ***secondly, if I do use these, will EA then go ahead to verify the employments eventhough I don't wish to assess experience? Read EA MSA booklet. Employment is not CPD! |

jayooh: Assessed Engineers pls help, I'm trying to draw up my CPD, but I don't have much to list except my 3yrs+ engineering experience which I don't wanna assess due to the fact that the second employment is lacking in proofs like-tax,salary payment,or pensions, thus my headache . Now, if I go ahead and list these employments as CPD, won't it cause EA to wanna carry out the required verification on employment still ?
Thanks cpd = continuous professional development. Means how you have continued to develop yourself since the end of your degree. Cpd includes and not limited to engineering seminars or workshops you have attended, conferences, book, journals etc that you have read, even software training, private study, post-grad study.. etc NA cpd. refer to MSA booklet for more information |

omo1010: I appreciate ur analysis, but i was thinking that engineers are not allowed to write pte, since ea does not have it as an option, and that my work exp should be 15 and not 10, ie 8yrs+. At worst case, do i stand a chance for state nomination ie if i couldn't hit 20 in English? i will try and go through the MSA like u suggested. Thank u so much. for assessment you use IELTS or TOEFL. PTE is for immigration purpose |

omo1010: Gentle men in the house, well done for good job you are doing.
Kindly advise me on this. Just got my IELTS result L/R/W/S=6.5,6,7,7 I intend rewriting the test but can I use the result for EA assessment.
I'm 37 with beng & msc in mechanical engineering, and my work experience as an engineer is 8yrs+
Do I stand a chance for sc189, If I get higher ielts score Ie after EA assessment? Can I get higher point from Pte if EA is done with the assessment using ielts since that's what is acceptable.
What is the current cost of assessment, and the least possible time of the assessment. Thank u Current cost of assessment is on EA website. Your age I think gives 25 points, Work experience should give 10 points, if you go for gold with your English exams you will get extra 20 points, (IELTS 8 cross band / 79+ PTE cross band) Your assessment gives 15 points . I recommend you download the MSA booklet and read adequately to have a clear understanding regarding your scores being used for assessment. It's a yes though but it won't hurt if you read it by yourself. So on the average you have about 70 points ( if you get 20 for English) or 60 points ( 7 cross band for IELTS or 65 for PTE) which I believe isn't adequate cos mechanical engineering is a Pro-rata occupation. |

Kamal474: With present trend, do U guys think that civil engineer with 65 points get an invite in the next round? I mean the backlog must be finished by then or there will be more wait? Unofficial Skill Select results for July 12th 2017 Not much data around at the moment so this table will update over the next 24 hours or so… A few things to remember : – There are only 1000 places for the 189s in this round. I expect this is lower than normal because DIBP have also opened up an extra pathway for the 189 visa for New Zealand citizens who have earned high wages in the last 5 years in Australia. There may be over 40,000 people eligible for this pathway and so this may impact the 189s available through the points tested 189 visa. At least until DIBP see how many applications they receive from NZ citizens. – There has been a very large backlog of new EOIs in ALL occupations that have built up in April, May and June 2017, not just Pro Rata occupations. And so the invitation mark is and will continue to be artificially high in many occupations for maybe the 1-3 months – Those applicants at 60 and 65 points in NON Pro-rata occupations may miss out for a round or two as a result also. We have not seen any 60/65 point invitations in any occupation yet – We have not seen the new 2017/18 Occupational ceiling numbers anywhere still. We, like everyone, are badgering DIBP to release these. There is no excuse now that they have actually invited the first round of places as they clearly know their numbers. Ok here is what we have so far. If you have any credible EOI invitation dates more recent than this at the same or lower points, please email us at query@iscah.com and we can look at updating the table. This is the lowest point total and most recent invitation date we have for the following pro rata occupations 2211 Accountant 75 – 09/04/2017 2212 Auditor (no figures) 2334 Electronics Engineer 75 – 23/05/2017 2335 Ind, Mech, Production Engineers 70 – 01/06/2017 2339 Other Engineering Professionals 75 – 15/06/2017 2611 ICT Business and Systems Analysts 75 – 25/05/2017 2613 Software and App Programmers 70 – 26/04/2017 2631 Computer Network Professionals 80 – 06/04/2017 |

weldonextreme: Oops sorry dear. Thought u offered paid service in temporal accommodation, by the side...the reason I contacted u... Never mind, pls ignore. Smart one bra. Take your time you will get all you need. My suggestion is that you search for back Packers so you don't get stranded on first night. Also, as soon as you arrive the airport , get a SIM card and some transport card.. this will save you from boarding expensive taxis and the internet connection on the aim will help you out. About the aged care course in Sydney , Biko take your time and search the internet too. Like she said, Google is your friend. You will find cheaper rates and some times, expensive ones.. but then, you can weigh your options, regarding he course duration and proximity to your location. Best regards in your endeavours sir and I hope you find this information useful. Also, two things you need in Australia, information and revelation. Nobody is truly ready to help you perhaps i should have said very few people are ready to EPP you. So when you reach, what you believe in as regards keeping of friends, will surely come to play. At the end, you are on your own mate. |
