Ugoerico: Please House help, My younger brother just got an Australia one year E-visitor visa and we are about to pay the agent an agreed amount of 1m. But we just discovered that the visa has Norway as the passport country (meaning that my brother is holding a Norway passport).. All other details such as name and passport number is valid and the visa has been verified valid too. My question is this? Wil they allow him pass at the POE when he presents a Nigerian passport while his visa stated that he has a Norway passport? Remember that e-visitor visa was gotten without a biometric, it is when u enter that u are captured.
Now we have called the attention of the agent and he said yes they used a Norway contact to process the visa that it was worked in a way that my brother had gone to Norway. He also said lawyers there wil b at the Poe to ensure he passes... Please advise.. Should he travel with it? Please read about Manus island. Na there your brother go end up. Y U go use Norwegian details for Nigerian. Ogbeni, agent de scam people these days O. No be today I de hear this matter. Se he is paying the lawyers Ni, Abi lawyer na minster for immigration. Guy, take a bow and go away from that agent. Aussie crazy gan. |

lusen: congratulations. You were on a bridging visa after you got your ITA. right? was just wondering how you were able to stay after your enrolment was cancelled. I had not applied for pr when my enrolment was cancelled. I had 28 days to get a new uni or leave Australia from when enrolment was cancelled. So... I got a new uni, then applied for PR. .... Bridging comes after submission of application and won't kick in until expiration of existing substantial visa... Student visa was suppose to expire in $eptember 2018... Too much info ay |

Franklyly: Thank you all for that is helping novices like me out on this thread, my point calculation is giving me below
Age 25-32= 30 Points
PROFICIENT ENGLISH=10 points
SUPERIOR ENGLISH = 20 Points
B.sc Medical Radiography, University of Nigeria Nsukka(2017) = 15 Points
Work experience = 0 points
Total= 30+10+20+15 = 75 Points
Pls, is my above point calculation correct ? If not, where did I get it wrong? Am a fresh graduate of 2017 and I want to start now to prepare my way, pardon my urgency pls, thank you!!! You can only have one level of English i.e superior or proficient. Which occupation are you nominating You may want to google for MLTSSL to check the list of occupations in demand. |

mannimakerjnr: Does anyone know of some competent online cdr writers in case you don't have time to do it yourself? Thanks The word competent is a big one. I had tried using em sometime... Lo and behold they will ask you to provide report of some project(s) you have executed before as a team member or leader... Which means , you are still gonna provide everything they need . In addition, regarding not being able to write cdr by one self...., This is my one cent and some statement that keeps me going when I claim/think I don't have time.... "Create time for everything , and you have time for everything" "It is what you don't wanna do, that you have an excuse for" You may wanna apply these to the situation at hand/ to whom it may concern. See the cdr as a project then , initiate, plan, execute and control/check. Best regards my friend, Everybody will smile . |

Although my transcript contains my completion date You may wanna ask for a "notification of result" from your uni. I used a notification of result to proceed to nysc camp, as my uni didn't issue certificate until after the convocation ceremony. |

victree4: Hi experts, My transcript is taking too much time to arrive and uniben is currently on strike further complicating issues. Is it possible for me to apply for EA assessment now and upload the transcript as soon as it arrives? @ least it should arrive b4 the 6 weeks it will take EA to attend to my case. In addition, my elect/elect degree is from uniben. Hope I can claim 15 points with this as a professional engineer? Thanks. Just save yourself future stress. What if the transcript arrives later? Try to push Buttons men . I had similar situation and with some unbelievable move I made, I got what I wanted then lodged my application. Nonetheless, this is my POV. You must be yourself when you want to make the decision on waiting or not. Best regards |

mannimakerjnr: I'm still in school though, haven't started any job yet (only part-time jobs). What I've observed is that most companies require PR or Citizenship for job positions and even for internships. In perth, there is only company that gives PE intl students the chance to do internships i.e Woodside, but trust me you don't want me to give u details. Imagine citizens, PR holders and international students vying for a very limited number of slots. As an international student, you just can pray but I know one guy who got it but he's a citizen. He's paid over 4000AUD per month for internship and that is good money. Perth atm is very tight and finding even a part time job is hard. Better to get a PR first bro or @Bellong and the gurus could give u better advice or something. Hope it helps?
My undergrad is Petroleum Engineering and I will like to go for either Production Engineer or Chemical Engineer with lower points to meet. What do you think? True talk as regards the jab/ internship situation. And that difference between pr/international students cut across a wide range of industries. I have missed juicy opportunities cos of this. |
