Fayose declaration is unhealthy, i may also run for 2019-Makarfi explode

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Caretaker Committee, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, has hinted that he will seek the 2019 Presidential ticket of the party.

Makarfi gave the hint in an interview published in the current edition of The Interview Magazine.

Makarfi said, By the time I leave as a caretaker committee chairman on December 9 or 10, there will still be 10 months to the party primaries.

By any law or the partys guidelines, Im not excluded.

He further said that Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayoses declaration of interest in the partys presidential ticket, is uncalled for and unhealthy.

A popular radio On-Air-Personality (OAP) identified as Cleo Tao has died in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital.

She died on Friday at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, UUTH, Uyo.

The sad news was confirmed by the CEO of Planet FM, Tony Afia on Friday evening on-air: Cleo Tao just got sick last week and was taken to the emergency intensive care unit at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital. She died today, he said.

Shocking As Gunmens kill pastor and also kidnap the son in Ondo


Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have killed a Pastor identified as Oluwafemi Komolafe along the Benin-Ijebu Ode Expressway at Ore in the Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Komolafe was travelling with his son, Timilehin when the suspected kidnappers struck.

The incident was disclosed by the Ondo State Police Commissioner, Mr. Gbenga Adeyanju while speaking with journalists in his office on Wednesday.

Adeyanju disclosed that Timileyin has been rescued alongside two other travellers by men of his Command.

Former Minister of Information and Culture, Prof Jerry Gana, has said that Nigerians are tired of APC and eager to have PDP back in power in 2019.

The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, appealed to Nigerians to give the party a chance, adding that the party has learnt their lessons and ready to restore the hopes of Nigerians.

He disclosed this while speaking at a consultative meeting between one of the aspirants of the national chairman of the party, Professor Tunde Adeniran and the delegates of the party from northwest in Kaduna on Monday.
