THE BIRTHDAY #socialchange

1. In the past, you were born into a family and that family defines you, your limit and to a large extent your destiny. You could try your best to change things up later in life, but there are still limits. #socialchange

3. This was the norm, not until 5 years ago, when a better more encompassing system was invented. Now you can choose your family and the family you want. Now you can join the family that best suits your dream. All because of one man, and his name Aiden. #TachaAsEdeyHot

4. How it all began, the year was 2020, it was the eve of his 30th birthday, Aiden was scrolling leisurely through Quora when it dawned on him that tomorrow is his birthday, as usual, he was going to mute it this year too. #betawin

5. Muting a birthday is simple, move the date forward or backward on your social media till the birthday is past and then restore it to the normal date. Then you know those who really know your birth date, as for Aiden, there is usually none #BBNaijaTwist

6. Just as he was about to change the date, he had a moment of epiphany, "I can't keep hiding forever" he thought to himself. "It's time to manifest" he muttered. With a click he moved to set his status and schedule it for tomorrow. #social

7. With elated sense of purpose, he typed these words "To the world called he the sons the destiny quest tarry not when it's time. To those who know, peace. Happy Birthday to me" he set it on schedule and shut down his laptop, it was time to sleep. #FridayFeeling

8. Few hours into Aiden's birthday, precisely by 4am, he was woken by a call from a distance girlfriend, or what do you call a girl you met online, met up and banged the hell out of each other and gradually eased of communication. She sang and wished him a happy birthday

9. Fast forward 5 hours, he checked his Facebook to find loads of birthday wishes as comments on his post, and a few others he was tagged in, his inbox was lite too but he was hoping to fine someone's and there it was, Obi his friend sent him a message.

10. "Oboy, happy birthday, meet me for presidential hotel, Cal my new number 080567838876 when you reach". That was it, it was time to set things in motion, he decided going there towards the evening was the best move, he rang up Obi and told him he'll be coming by 4pm.
