A man that risked his life for his nationif this statement was true, ribadu would have still been in nigeria today. the man did not risk his life for his nation. what many did not know is: when ribadu was working as obj's political weapon he also had a security team that probably better than the one obama has today. his master provided in with power, access to money and a solid security team. therefore, he wasn't risking his life, he knew what he was doing at the time. the coin just did not fall in place the way he designed it. now that the power is gone, fed govt are asking for the money spent to be accounted for, and the security team has been dissolved, the man disappeared from the country. so, if you ask me, i will call him a coward. people that risk or risked their lives will be gani f, ken saro-wiwa etc. but not this wanted criminal. |
few days before the election, his master told him: "it is do or die, yaradua must win" and he agreed. sir debosky: what does that statement "coming from obasojo" means? |
he was also in-charge of selling government properties and distributing recovered federal government money. you wonder why the man is hidding. there are too many questions he can never answer, and he knows it clearly. he's dirty as a farm pig. |
What an idiotic statement. Did Ribadu organise PDP primaries and INEC elections? THe ridiculous extent you will go to in ridiculing his achievements is baffling.sir: should I post the list of clean politicians' name ribadu released few days before the election? you forgot that ribadu was in charge of giving approval to politicians during those days. you couldn't contest unless ribadu gave you ok. he gave ok to yaradua, akala and many others. he also spent enormous amount of our money, time and energy on stopping atiku "as directed by his master". you forgot? you forgot that ribadu was playing the role of the vp, igp, inec chairman, efcc chairman, foreign affair minister, natinal security minister etc. again, he thought nigeria belonged to his father. |
ok, may be at this point waziri doesn't have the right to make this statement, but she is right on point. ribadu is nothing but obj's political weapon. and anybody could simply be a president political weapon in nigeria. therefore, i see nothing special at all about the man called ribadu. i'm sorry! |
ribadu felt he was the number 2 man during obasojo's era. he openly disrespected the vp as he was directed by his master. he retrieved all official cars and security team of the vp. he manufactured evidence to convict the vp. this same ribadu couldn't find anything wrong with his master or adedibu or akala or odelli or bode george or fani kayode or aborisade or iyabo obasojo and many other crooks. and you people expect me to worship this fool. i don't think so. he failed and disappointed everyone of us. |
i will never forget how ribadu ordered alams to be aggressively removed from a dubai hospital (even when all the doctors were against the move), only to release alams from jail 4 days later. later on we heard that ribadu had ordered alams to be removed from his hospital bed because atiku (the vp) paid him a visit. when ribadu was asked to explain why alams was aggressively yanked from the hospital only to be released from jail few days after. mr ribadu couldn't answer the question. |
many of us also forgot that yaradua, akala and others became our leaders today all because ribadu among others refused to do their jobs correctly. you can criticize yaradua if you want, but the fact that ribadu contributed to the 2007 election fraud will forever remain on record. why you people continue to praise this man remains absurd. nigerians' wiliness to justify the failure of our past and present leaders has brought nigeria to her knees today. Failure is failure, it doesn't matter how you choose to analyse it. |
pretty soon people will start calling waziri my mother. look guys, 2 wrongs can not make a right. waziri has not been impressive, ribadu is a run away bride. if you guys have so much confidence in ribadu, why not ask this wanted criminal to come out like a man and make his enemies look stupid. ribadu reminds me of an aggressive gateman that protect my house and my family, but also steal from the same house. you can can make noise till next year, but ribadu will remain what he is, a wanted criminal and a failed federal government official. efcc lost all respect because ribadu ran the organization to the ground. he thought nigeria belonged to his father and efcc belonged to his mother. till he comes out to face all charges, the man will be nothing but another greedy pig that stole from our country. nigeria will be a better place as soon as nigerians stop settling for the second place. a failure is a failure! |
There is NO PROOF against Ribadudebosky: instead of stretching the veins on your neck, why can't you ask your master to come out like a man and face all these charges. till that is done, ribadu is nothing but a wanted criminal. |
all federal government money recovered can not be accounted for. all federal government properties were sold at a ridiculous price to friends and family. ribadu declared his assets when he got the position but after word got out that he was maintaining few properties that weren't on the original asset declaration form, he got scared and refused to declare his assets when he was leaving. |
obasojo failure, buhari failure, ibb failure, shagari failure, gowon failure, shonekan failure, abubakar failure, ribadu failure, waziri failure, iwu failure, soludo failure. afam: do you get the gist? i have nothing to do with any politician in nigeria, i'm only here to make it clear that nigeria will remain dusty if we (new school) continue to justify the failure of our failed leaders. no need to redefine failure, failure is simply failure. and i see no reason to disrespect each other. please grow up and let us stay on the topic like adults. |
Why is the current Chairman of EFCC not doing all these things you accuse Ribadu of not doing? Are you waiting for Ribadu to come back to finish them?sweetheart afam: you seems to be mixing things up. i am not here to promo waziri. the lady represents another failed individual. failure is simply failure, but what you people are trying to do here is trying to redefine the meaning of failure. the same shit nigerians have been doing for over 48 yrs. and this is why the country is not moving forward. we shall all witness improvement in this country as soon as we all develop or clean up our dirty/lowlife mentality and seek for highest degree of proficiency in everything. and also stop making this annoying noise about how holy this bastard was, as the cahirman of efcc. |
i will not change how i feel about ribadu on till be returns like a man to face all charges. the protocol is do as i do and not do as i say. at this moment, ribadu is nothing but "a wanted criminal" |
ribadu has made managing efcc as a federal government organization a challenging task. he screwed up everything before he escaped out of the country. |
i have no respect for any of them. a failure is simply a failure. as soon as nigerians stop settleling for nothing, we will all witness a better country. waziri and ribadu can all go straight to hell. |
could someone explain why ribadu ignored the thugs in ibadan while they ran the city to the ground. ribadu was too busy chasing atiku as directed by his godfather. it doesn't matter what anyone thinks, ribadu is the main reason why noone has any respect for this organization today. instead of focusing and doing his job the right way, ribadu got carried away and got himself involved in politics. he even recommended his friend, el rufai to replace obasojo while he designed the igp position for himself. the guy is sick, greedy, corrupt, uninformed, out of control, childish, lawless, ignorant, arrogant and pathetic in every way. if ribadu had sincerely played his role by law, all these corrupt officials would have been eating beans by now. but he bleeped everything up, he ran the organization as if nigeria belonged to his father. he knows he screwed up and this is why the bastard is on the run. |
probably it would have sounded better if people say mrs waziri has not right to criticize another failed chairman. simply because it makes no sense for a failed person to criticize another failed individual. so far, as the head of efcc it is clear that waziri hasn't shown us anything impressive, but the same thing goes for ribadu. no justice is much better than selective justice. i still find it very difficult to figure out why people continue to make noise about ribadu. during his time as the chairman of efcc, ribadu arrested, ribadu listed names of corrupt officials and ribadu also made a lot of noise world wide, but he did not complete a single case during his time as the chairman. so, what the hell are we here making stupid noise about this thief for? ribadu is still the main reason why the value of efcc as a nigerian federal government organization has gone down to nothing. he ran this organization like a personal business. it makes me sick when people give this man an unnecessary attention and credit for destroying the integrity of efcc. he's wanted and currently on the run. |
www.tribune.com.ng Ribadu was OBJ’s political weapon - Waziri Kolawole Daniel, Abuja - 28.07.2009 THE Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mrs. Farida Waziri, on Monday, disclosed that evidence available showed that the commission, under its former chairman, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, was used as political weapon against perceived enemies of former President Olusegun Obasanjo. She spoke in Abuja while receiving the National Conference of Black Mayors (NCBM) from the United States of America. Ribadu is currently living in the United States and was wanted in Nigeria for trial over alleged failure to declare assets while in office. Waziri said the commission, under her leadership, would break the link between tax evasion, money laundering and terrorist financing, adding that the commission had put up preventive mechanism for economic crimes. According to her, EFCC under Mallam Ribadu was characterised by weak administrative structures, absence of career path for officers, haphazard administration and investigation, non-compliance with the rule of law as well as human rights abuses and political interference. “It is necessary to admit that in its formative years, the criticisms that had trailed the commission have been that that it is political tool of the presidency and is arbitrary and selective in its investigations,” she said. |
A Trap Or A Big Win For Ribadu?i smell something funky. |
Ribadu wins big in court http://www.234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/News/National/5433159-147/Ribadu_wins_big_in_court_.csp The former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, who went to court early this year to challenge his last December dismissal from the police, got a hefty approval Friday July 3 in the Abuja Federal High Court of Justice Mustapha Abdullahi that he is on the right track. Justice Abdullahi held that the law requiring serving officers to first seek and secure the consent of the Police high command before suing their bosses negated the principles of natural justice. Any officer who wished to sue the Inspector General of Police has the right to do so the judge declared in his ruling. Ribadu faced a number of huddles going into the case: his decision to drag the Police Service Commission (PSC), the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), and the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Michael Aondoakaa (SAN) before the court challenging his dismissal from the force was contrary to the stipulations of the Police Act which states that an aggrieved officers must give a month notice before they could institute legal action against the authority. The police had also raised a preliminary objection to Ribadu's suit insisting that the court lacked the jurisdiction to entertain the case in the first place. However, among the three issues addressed by the judge, he resolved two in favour of Ribadu and one in favour of the defendants. To Ribadu's favor, the judge ruled that Ribadu had the locus standi to institute the action against the police; and that the expectation that Ribadu sought permission of the police authority before instituting the suit was illogical since he would be seeking permission from the same person who wronged him in the first place. Since the police authorities, in challenging Ribadu, had argued that the former EFCC boss, by the action he filed was an abuse of court process, the judge also ruled that this was not true. Ribadu's actions were true and proper to the traditions of the court, said the Judge. But it was not a straight walk over for Ribadu, as the court ruled against the procedure he adopted in filing the suit. In the judge's views, he should have filed the suit by way of writ of summons instead of the originating summon he adopted. Justice Abdullahi, in his ruling said it was wrong for Ribadu to have approached it by a way of originating summon as it was also wrong for the police to ask that the case be struck out. He ordered that the proceeding be converted to writ of summon and asked the Ribadu's lawyer to file the writ of summon within 7 days. The case was adjourned till July 27. |
oh boy oh boy! at this point for anyone to still be willing to stand up to support or defend this fool is totally the beginning of being a big fool. please ask this guy to shut up forever. he makes me sick. not all nigerians are foolish. |
I’m not afraid to appear in court - Ribadu http://www.tribune.com.ng" Kolawole Daniel, Abuja - 06.07.2009 The embattled former chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has said he is not afraid to appear in court to defend himself. The former EFCC boss, who is currently out of the country, was embroiled in different legal battles to defend himself over his trial on non-declaration of assets at the code of conduct tribunal. Speaking through his lawyer, Mr. Tayo Oyetibo, the former EFCC boss asserted that “he has never been afraid of appearing in court,” adding that the fact that he filed an action in court means that he was ready to face trial.” The former EFCC boss had dragged the Police Service Commission (PSC), Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Mr. Michael Aondoakaa, before the court to challenge his dismissal from the force. Mallam Ribadu was dismissed from the force on December 22, 2008. But the defendants, in their preliminary objection to the suit, had raised three issues challenging the action filed by the former EFCC boss. |
We Were Offered Bribes To Rig Elections - Iwuhere comes another cousin of ribadu. i think the big questions are, 1. who are these people that offered the bribes? and 2. did u collect the bribes? because the result showed that a lot of bribes were accepted. |
http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/news/article03/indexn2_html?pdate=010709&ptitle=Conduct%20bureau%20defends%20Ribadu's%20trial The Chairman and Secretary of CCB, Yakubu Tuktur and Mustapha Buba, who respectively expressed this view, explained that the statute empowered the bureau to try any public officer for failing to declare his assets on assumption of office or upon exiting the said public office. Tuktur and Buba spoke during a media briefing to mark the 20th anniversary of CCB in Abuja. Clarifying why the CCB waited until Ribadu had been relieved of his job at the EFCC before charging him to the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), Buba noted that Ribadu's trial was for his failure to declare his assets after leaving public office. "The CCB charged Ribadu for not declaring his assets after leaving office; he declared his assets upon assumption of office as the EFCC Chairman, but when he left office, he failed to declare his assets and that is why we referred him to the tribunal for prosecution", the bureau's secretary explained. Tuktur said although he "knows how sensitive Ribadu's issues are," the CCB could not because of that cover its eyes when its laws had been breached by Ribadu. Besides, Tuktur said the law did not place a time bar as to when a public officer could be charged for an offence, adding that there was nothing wrong with CCB charging Ribadu or any other public officer to court anytime it detects an offence earlier committed even if it is after he might have left office. |
ribadu is severely suffering from the following symptoms:1. totalitarian 2. megalomaniac 3. tyrannical 4. dictatorial 5. despotic 6. autocratic. the guy is sick in the head. |
Dismissal: Ribadu knows fate today http://www.ngex.com/cgi-bin/frame/frameit2.plx?link="http://www.tribune.com.ng" A federal high court sitting in Abuja, will, today, rule on the case brought before it by the former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Malam Nuhu Ribadu, challenging his dismissal from the Nigerian Police force. Though, the judgment ought to have been delivered on Wednesday, June 24, by the court, the absence of Justice Mustapha Abdullahi, stalled it. The former EFCC boss had dragged the Police Service Commission (PSC), Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Michael Aondoakaa (SAN), before the court, challenging his dismissal from the force. Mallam Ribadu was dismissed from the force on December 23, 2008. One of the counsel in the matter had told the Nigerian Tribune, on Wednesday, that the court would rule on the matter on Friday, June 26 (today). |
He says he ran away because they want to kill him YET HE MAKES PUBLIC APPEARANCES WHERE HE IS. CAN THE PRESIDENT NOT AFFORD TO SET UP MACHINERY TO KILL HIM WHERE HE IS? In addition, Obasanjo also said "Ribadu should use the money he benefitted from my administration to hire himself a good lawyer. He should do the same thing my daughter, Iyabo did, "come out from the darkness and face all the charges people like afam are still busy beating drum behind their hero, called ribadu. some people will never wake up even if you hit their head with an iron. |

every time someone in nigeria stands for what is right, this individual must be on drug or has direct benefit from the subject of the matter. very very sad indeed. @depilot: may be i am obasojo's 6th wife @afam: i have no comment for you at this time. |
ok, fhemmmmy: don't you think ribadu is also affiliated with obj's administration? obj did not do the damage by himself. oga ribadu was right in the middle of it. obj has already confirmed to friends that ribadu also benefitted big time from his administration. therefore: abacha's son, obj's son, ribadu's son, ibori's son, kalu's son and many other sons are all from this same root. don't be a fool. but the correction must start from somewhere; this is why it is very important for nigerians to encourage ribadu to come and face the charges. |
