i could help you refresh ur memory by digging it out but it would take too long a time.please start digging, i'm sure you can do it, you have a strong back |
That's the only truth you've honestly managed to squeeze out from your keyboard in a while now, only that you didn't include Yar 'Adua and all other Nigerian politicians and pastors (oh plus Ribadu).sweet boss, very very sad to know where your mind is at, i thought you were on my side. i guess, i was wrong. |
i can not remember making that statement, but this statement is not far from the truth. don't you think? should i list the names of obasojo's close associates that have been arrested lately? i honestly think that obasojo is partially responsible for some of our problems in nigeria today. don't you think? |
cre, na wa for u. so na the one and single reason wey u wan take make sure say ribadu no bake him cake and fry it too be this. no wonder, presy yardy cant do anything wrong in ur eye. at least he was governator for 8 years, no impeachment, no action, no rift with his house of assembly. he must be the next best thing to happen to nigeria after agege breadyou're wrong, i've never stated that yaradua was a perfect president. |
Aren't you concerned of God's judgement on you especially when you close on eye at Yar 'Adua (Obj and co) and open the other at Ribadu?darling boss: ribadu happens to be the king of judging others, therefore it is only right, legal, civilized and sensible to expose his ass and educate his blind supporters. ribadu must go down. |
please, pay attention and read your own post slowly once again and let me know: i bet if you were God for one hour the theives you have in PDP would be your favourite people to hear praying. these are lawless, ruthless, ungodly men/ women raping a whole nation and God as you understand Him is supposed to be blessing them to show He is nigerians favourite uncle abi?thanks. |
on the judgement day, do not be surprised to see saddam hussein/ osama in heaven while some of us chill on the other side. don't be stupid, God is God and he sees us (good or bad) as equal regardless of how we pray or approach him. |
i bet if you were God for one hour the theives you have in PDP would be your favourite people to hear praying. these are lawless, ruthless, ungodly men/ women raping a whole nation and God as you understand Him is supposed to be blessing them to show He is nigerians favourite uncle abi?sweet-heart, it isn't our duty to judge these people. we must give God a chance to do his duties. just remember that good health isn't promised to anyone; and it doesn't matter whether you're good or bad. again, please be sensible. |
of course, different people or societies look at God differently; i see nothing wrong with this state of mind, it is part of life. the most important thing is seeing God as the king of king. if we all pray to the same God at the end of the day, it's ok. just remember that in God's eyes we are all equal. |
@logosboy: good point, but you must note that indians are not nigerians. our ways of thinking is pretty much different. it's part of our culture to keep certain things to ourselves. we continue to make fun of this man without deeply thinking, and i think this is ridiculous. @lagosboy, i wonder what you would have done if you happen to be in his position. we must be careful, respectful and sensible. instead of constant criticism, may be we should try something different and say a little pray for him. this is the only way out of darkness, because "God don't slumber"; he knows better and sees clearer. please, be-careful. |

lol my brothers and sisters, please tell me this is a joke, a big one. |
http://www.punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art200901292223681 Ribadu in hiding after assassination attempts — Lawyers Published: Thursday, 29 Jan 2009 Lawyers to the former Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, on Wednesday told the Code of Conduct Tribunal that the ex-police officer was in hiding because of assassination attempts on his life. According to the lead lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana, “Presently, my client is still taking care of his life, after his demotion and dismissal. His car was shot at and nothing was done to protect him, so he had decided to go underground. “He will only appear if this tribunal will guarantee his safety.” But the tribunal Chairman, Justice Constance Momoh, said that Ribadu must first appear before he could raise any objection to the jurisdiction of the tribunal. She said that the tribunal had in the past ruled on similar applications by holding that it had powers to try former public officers. She said, “That is our position, and we are not ready to hold otherwise. But the accused must appear first before we can take your objection.” The tribunal threatened to issue a warrant for the arrest of the former EFCC chairman if he failed to appear before it to explain why he failed to declare his assets while in office. Momoh issued the threat when she was told that Ribadu was not in court to plead to the charges against him. She consequently adjourned the case to March 9 to give Ribadu another opportunity to appear and plead to the charges against him. Falana had told the tribunal that his client would challenge the jurisdiction of the tribunal to try him. He said that the offences under the Code of Conduct Act were meant only for serving public officers, arguing that since Ribadu had been dismissed from service, the Act no longer applied to him. Meanwhile, the tribunal has discharged and acquitted the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Mr. Timi Alaibe. Also discharged and acquitted was the former chairman of the commission, Ambassador Sam Edem. The tribunal held that since they had complied with the requirements of assets declaration, the Code of Conduct Bureau ought not to have charged them. Momoh advised the bureau not to bring innocent citizens who had not violated the law. She said, “We are not here to persecute anybody. Therefore, the bureau should do its investigation thoroughly before charging anyone before this tribunal.” She held that Alaibe and Edem were wrongly charged. Ribadu was charged for breach of Code of Conduct for his alleged failure to declare his assets when he assumed office as the chairman of the EFCC in April 2003 until he left. |
you people need to be very careful with your post. the one and only owner of good health is GOD and he knows what tomorrow and next year would bring. Yaradua may live longer than some of nigerians who continue to make fun of his state of health. let us be more sensible, more mature and remember that what goes around sometimes also comes around. please, be careful and make good use of your heads. |
http://odili.net/news/source/2009/jan/27/423.html Robbery: Goat suspect, a hoax - Saraki The Kwara State Government on Monday appealed to the people of the state, especially the residents of Ilorin, to disregard the alleged mysterious goat accused of being a man who had attempted to snatch a car. According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Mas'ud Adebimpe, the appeal becomes necessary because of the factions of rumour making the round concerning the mysterious goat being paraded as an armed robbery suspect. It said intelligence reports reaching Governor Bukola Saraki had no confirmatory evidence of such occurrence. "There is no iota of truth in the alleged rumour as officers of the state police command are already investigating the matter," the statement said. Saraki advised the citizens to go about their lawful businesses. |
it is totally unbelievable to witness how these lost boys do not know what they are missing at home. nigeria will continue to rise and i can assure you with confidence that more and more of you would be running back home. it is a matter of time. |
again, i haven't endorsed the young man (dapo, himself is my witness); in-fact we were scheduled to meet couple of weeks ago, but i did not follow through. this is because it is only fair to learn more about him before coming out to support him. if you pay attention to my comments, you would realize that i've only asked people to cool down and be fair. you can ask questions or probe anybody, but you must do it with respect. please go through all the comments you guys have posted, it is mighty obvious that you people are determined to do anything and everything to punish this young man for his and his father's past. and that is totally wrong in my book. may be you people would feel more confortable to see governor fashola's son to contest for the office? but from what i know and have seen, nobody has the capability to accurately predict what a politician would do once he or she is elected. you can continue to beat up this young man till the end of time if you want, but i can assure you that it wouldn't change a thing in nigeria or ibadan. again, you must first live in my neighbourhood to be in a position to recommend what i should or shouldn't eat. |
i can bet you guys that dapo will be elected. and why?i can't believe that you guys did not catch this statement. just in-case you did not know, i haven't endorsed dapo as yet; he has a lot to do and he deserves the chance. i refuse to disable this young man all because of his past as a very young kid or because of his father's past. it is obvious that he's trying his best to move forward or away from his past (the one you guys do not like). question for you guys: do you know the list of individuals that would be competing with dapo for the same position? let us be a little bit sensible here; most of you guys haven't been in nigeria in 15 years and you're bold enough to come here to pick and choose who to be elected? this is ridiculous and senseless. i do not think you guys are in any position to tell me what to eat, you need to first live in my neighbourhood. it is that simple. sorry. |
lucabrasi, must_a_far and boss: i still love you guys. |
i still think dapo deserves a credit for coming out to defend himself and also to present his intention. the sad part to this story is, 99% of these noise makers haven't been to nigeria in 10-15 years and also have no plans to return any time soon. they certainly wouldn't be casting any vote during election time. they are powerless, the only thing they are good at doing is making noise and nothing else. it's ok to throw questions at this young man, it's even ok not to like him, but it isn't ok to disrespect him regardless of his past or his father's past. nigerians must learn how to respect one another and stop this uncivilized way of thinking. i can bet you guys that dapo will be elected. and why? because you guys are cowards, who ran away. sorry, you have no voice. |
and what exactly are you referring to, sir? |
even obama didn't do everything correctly or according to the book as a young man. therefore, i still think it's unfair to be trying to immediately disable dapo's ambition at this point in time. i advise to cool down and allow time to tell. there is possibility that this young man could turn things around for better for ibadan people. no one has a crystal ball, only God has the absolute capability to predict tomorrow. don't you think? |
well, it is only right to do what is right. atiku should cool down and do whatever it takes to contribute towards building a new nigeria. |
@bushgirl: i think you got it right. unfortunately, there isn't much choice left in the country, but david mark has handled his duties professionally and competently. he's a smooth operator and deserves a lot of credits from all angles. |
@moves: sweet-heart, just ask the lady your question and move on. |
i guess, it is fair and legal to categorize "the zoning of presidential post" as "affirmative action", which is established to give the disable groups in nigeria opportunity to do something positive (steal govt. money) with themselves. an indirect method to settle for less "if you can't beat them find a way to join them". which ever group that allows this action to take place in political structure in nigeria should cover their faces with shame. this zoning of presidential post is nothing but a modern day election rigging conspiracy. mikeansy and his people should hide under the table, where it's more comfortable for them. you shouldn't force your sentiment of pity on voters. |
DANGEROUS PLACES: Perhaps one of my least-favorite places in the world is Lagos, Nigeria@poster: it is true that if you don't know it, you can not miss it. you need to travel more whenever you visit lagos again. every city and every country has the ugly side, therefore it makes no sense to only focus on the ugly side of lagos. there are other beautiful sides, you just need to get out of the box and discover these areas. darling, you might not know exactly what you're missing. lagos and abuja (nigeria) for life! |
my question will be: why is it taking this long to "KAN" this bush-boy, called ribadu? |
we all know that 80% of the roads are bad; i think it is a basic common sense for drivers to drive with care when driving through these bad roads. we can not only blame the roads or the government alone, drivers in nigeria should pay more attention and obey the rules and regulations. furthermore, things would also get better if the npf starts doing their jobs instead of busy collecting bribe on the streets of nigeria. this problem is made up of combination of rubbish from every angle, everyone must do their part to get this nation out of darkness. |
atiku is not a perfect politician, but not stupid either. i think the man is too smart to accept illegal promotion from obasojo if the opportunity should open up. he (atiku) would wait for his time and make it happen legally. (unlike the biggest fool of the year, zomby united (mr. ribadu), who made himself available to be used and dropped like a used toilet paper; all because of power) |
How hard did Yar'adua work to become Presidentfriend, what are you talking about? ![]() you're a big joke! |
yes, the next soccer world cup champion must come from africa; because we are all black and beautiful. what a joke! |
