I am no VO ooo, but come on, we all kniw how this things work.
Yeah Team 12.
Exactly why i find it so difficult. That's the true story but how will the VO be convinced. I don't even know what to do.
The only way to prove to d VO dt ds d reality is to let him know d reality. Chai! Whatever dt means.
Maybe i should only submit my employment letter n SOA n forget about the study leave approval n family friend thg.
I'm so confused. What do u advise, pls?
Pls, others help me out or i will just do as the Spirit leads.

Just a question I think the VO may ask..
Why will a company you started work with last month give you a study leave for a year or more? Why then did they employ you? Make sure that reason is addressed in your SOP...My opinion!!
Yeah, i worked with them before. Had a great input plus the CEO is a friend of the family.

What level of study are u going for? I see u already have an MBA so I guess ur going for PhD.
I will also suggest u include visa pages to tackle the issue of "travel history".
I dont see ur own SOA and payslips to tackle personal assets...you should also include pension statement since u are working. That serves as personal asset and home tie...
Thanks Team 12.
MAdmin in Leadership.
Was out of job for abt a Year(personal reasons) so i've only worked here for a month. Including personal SOA, i don't know how dt will look(empty acct).
Then for the pension statement, i wud av to contact the PFAs been ages cant even remember my login details. Na wa!

Since you're employed please do well to add your statement of account. You should get a study leave letter from your employer as well stating how long you'll be away for studies and reaffirming that your place in the firm will be reserved and available for you upon your return from studies.
Ok. Thanks but i've only worked here for about a month.
For the study leave, that was stated in the letter of intro the d embassy.

pweetyfelicia:
@justica,i think there are some questions tht need to be addressed by ur sponsor.
1.How many dependants does ur aunt hve?
2.What is the assurance tht the funds frm your aunt is available for you?
3.Why is your aunt spending tht much on you.Wht does she stand to gain?
So i think you need a detailed letter of sponsor cos there is more than just presenting a SOA wit huge funds.
Note:Try search for @pchax letter nd declaration of sponsorship,it is well detailed
Hello pweetyfelicia(my mom's name sake)
I like ur detailed explanation(are u a VO in the making?Lol!).
So how do i find pchax's letter n declaration of sponsorship. I need those too cos i'm applying this week.
Thanks

Hello house.
Pls, i wana ask a question: how does one's parents' asset a proof of home tie since this proof of home tie is something to show one is gonna come back home after study? So, if my parents own land n property in Nigeria, does dt guarantee my coming back home? I just wana get it. Pls, help cos i'm almost wanting to ask my dad for his asset docs even though he isn't my sponsor at all.
Thanks
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Crich(f): 8:55pm On May 31, 2015
Hello ada4all.
You should submit ur parents' asset document if they are ur sponsors. U can include urs too. If u dont have one, u can't manufacture over night. It's not a crime if u don't have asset. So just go ahead n apply. Your visa doesn't solely depend on that, u know!

Sir, I strongly believe the age is the problem.

When ure of that age, it's not irrational for them to think you should have ssome kind of strong family ties.
And the idea of going for just a diploma after 8 years of concluding ur Bsc is also a redflag
Did u include any marriage certificate or children in the family information.
They would prefer you enrol in the express entry program...
VO Hayqin... Lol! So, what if d person is an unmarried lady of same age? Chai! Na wa. Na God go help person o. But dt age shudn't matter na. Everyone can't get 'there' at the same time. These VOs sha.

If you did not do an upfront medical exams and you apply online, when feeling the online questionnaire you will see the question that ask if you did an upfront medical exams, if you choose no, then the next question will be if you live in one of the designated countries(which Nigeria is among), if you choose yes then during your online application you will see a place that will ask for a form called "Request for medical exams", just click on the question mark to the right you will see a link to download the form, download and tick the place they ask if you will like CIC to contact you for medicals, upload the form and that all.
Cool thanks.

The other sponsors should provide their employment letters, payslips, SOA, workID, anything that proves source of funds, availability of funds and ofcourse commitment to sponsor(sponsorship letter).

You can go ahead with the upfront medicals then..God's grace...

cheers!
I appreciate ur response.
I hope submitting their letters of co-sponsorship and payslips are just okay since the main sponsor will present everyother required docs.
Thanks.

it seems Regina is quite slow with the admission process....while I'm completely done with MUN..theyv even sent my unconditional letter of acceptance....Regina never even shake body.
anyways...are there part time jobs there...I guess iv asked this question before...but didn't get comprehensive answers as no one knew much about the place...
I wish I were in Ur shoes now Ohh..
But i got my UofR acceptance just 3wks after they received all my docs. The process is was pretty short n fast. I was impressed.

berexio1:
If you have enough time for ur application(I mean 3months to ur resumption) and you will be available for medicals within this period then follow due process and wait until u are asked to go for it. If not then go for upfront medicals, that was why it was created in the first place. And it doesn't guarantee ur TRV, cos the VOs will treat ur file just before they proceed to see if u av or av not done medicals..When u go online to apply, you need to go do ur biometrics after with ur original intl passport and 2 photocopies,bt u will have ur passport back to go home with. Asper ur sponsors, anyone anywhere can be ur sponsor as long as he presents genuine docs and SOA to back up the claims..

Cheers!
Thanks, Berexio1.
School start date is Sept 1 n i intend applying June 1. So i'm just thinking d upfront medical might be appropriate. Also, i dont reside in Lag so was thinking of killing 2birds wt a stone. Just not sure.

Also, kindly re-read d sponsor part of my question. I have a main sponsor(sibling) but i intend supporting with two other sponsors(siblings too) who will only present their payslips n letters of co-sponsorship. Is ds ok?

Thanks
