Caleycash: Hello how do i go about gaining an admission at U of R?...and tell me if they havr any scholarship scheme. thanks Grad or undergrad? U just go through their website(uregina.ca). It's very self explanatory but if u need to ask questions, send emails to them(get two or more emails) and then u really have to be patient cos their response might take forever. U can also call them but u might end up not being able to speak wt anyone, except u are lucky(heard Canadian schs are like dt). But first, go through ur intended course/program, and ask them specific questions(like d scholarship scheme) through emails. I really don't know about other applicants, but my admission came within 3weeks of submission of complete docs (really fast). Wish i could be more helpful. |

expertman: ohk thanks Bro. what i mean is that can U OF R Send me acceptance letters of admisison even when am yet to pay part payment of tuition? and can such letters be used for study permit processing? in short am looking for college that can issue me acceptance letter which i can use fostudy permit processing without demanding for part payment of tuition U of R acceptance letter doesn't state anything regarding tuition payment. The school says u can only pay tuition after/during registration of classes. So, it means they do not require any payment from u yet. Which eventually implies dt u CAN use d acceptance letter given for d study permit application. Clear? |

Jakay: Ask him to email your bank requesting them to give you his statement of account. That was how I got my sponsor's. But some banks dont trust only emails. The email has to contain a signed instruction by the customer. I advise he goes to d bank n find out what they require his brother to do. |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by Crich(f): 10:30am On Jun 11, 2015 |
gabrola: how do I go about d letter? Can bank give me a letter when my brother isn't around? Your brother can write and sign the letter. If he doesnt have access to a scanner, he should use his phone to take a pix and send to the bank's email address(which u can get for him in one of the bank branches or d particular branch he opened his acct). You might have to go to d bank to find out how it's done cos some banks require d customer to have an indemnity in place to cover soft copies instructions like his. |

Everything will also get a bit clearer and you can then make good questions. And of course the wonderful people in this thread will graciously answer you. Tips: buy popcorn and eat as you read accross the pages! I came across this thread, 'googling' what i wanted when i was trying to gather docs n info. U definitely will be catapulted to Nairaland once u go to google to do a search. So, pls, let the new guys learn to search. I support Tnuola. Not easy. We need to move forward.
