FBS: that man Falcao is dangerous. waaat! what a finish. looking like a walk-over already.
bad defending.

Therez still plenty of time in which to turn it around; provided something is done about Falcao.
Dude has rendered Cahill semi-useless.

chamotex:

Essien's real age is probably above Scholes and Giggs' (no difference)

LOL grin
Other than Essien's age, Fergie still doesn't believe his team needs a traditional DM.

Read that it's Arsene begging RDM for the guy. grin

Maybe UEFa decided to try a new face this time. grin

Good point. grin
He deserves it though, for club and country.

I don't see why they bother to be honest.
They should save our time and shoulda given it to him since last night.

Iniesta gets it.

I'm sure I can see my reflection in Messi's shoes.
I hope he wins.

Group H- Manchester United, FC Braga, Galatasaray, Cluj

Not as strenuous as Group D. I see no reason why United shouldn't get past this stage.

Real Madrid vs Man City. Mouth-watering fixture.

FC Braga first to join United.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Cristalz(f): 5:02pm On Aug 30, 2012
Let's pause Nani for now....UCL draws are on.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Cristalz(f): 12:10pm On Aug 30, 2012
I have read, including all the comments, and I agree with the OP.

Nani is flawed but compared with his strengths, I don't think he should be sold. Plus, the stats are there.
The Sam Hale guy presented a pretty solid argument (comments included) and I'm on his side of the fence.

My issues with Nani are his inability to cross and his selfishness.
He makes up for his poor crossing by being creative without having to cross the ball so it's not like his poor crossing renders him totally useless.
Like the dude stated, who cares if an assist comes via a cross or a pass?

Unless one is saying Young is better than Nani (which he isn't), I think United should keep Nani around.
Sure, the new buys are settling in well and all but it's still early days. Why put all our eggs in one basket?

AjanleKoko:

At least Mourinho plays Barca with a man extra for once.
So no complaints. But we'll soon put them back where they need to be. wink

There really are no complaints. Barca gifted RMD the advantage when there were 22 men on the pitch.
But twaz a really good fight in the end. Still a team to be proud of.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Cristalz(f): 11:48pm On Aug 29, 2012
Besides as already stated, the team played poorly for most of first half. That wasn't Valdes' fault.
He messed up in the first leg but the second leg was a fresh chance to change things and Barca as a team let RMD stomp on 'em.

Can't put it all on Valdes' small ogo. grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Cristalz(f): 11:44pm On Aug 29, 2012
Pique and Mascherano also messed up tonight....y'all shouldn't be too harsh on Valdes.
All in all, twaz was a good fight from Barca, being a man down.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Cristalz(f): 10:34pm On Aug 29, 2012
StarBoard:
The goal shoulda stood. Both guys were going for the ball.
Even the sky commentator felt the decision to award the foul was soft.

Messi!!!!

Watched the highlight. I'm inclined to agree. Pique was on the other guy as well. Then again, twaz Pique that went down.
Guess Mr. ref didn't like that.

But to be fair, a foul's a foul, soft or hard. And the guy has been fair since the game commenced.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Cristalz(f): 10:16pm On Aug 29, 2012
What a free kick!!
See? It's Barca we're talking about. Back on level terms.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Cristalz(f): 10:15pm On Aug 29, 2012
They only need a goal to draw level.
I think its too soon to lose hope. If RMD can score twice in a half, why not Barca?

But knowing Mourinho sha, they might just park the bus come 2nd half.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Cristalz(f): 10:11pm On Aug 29, 2012

Soft foul to give.
Barca were let off the hook.

Well, still a foul. smiley
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Cristalz(f): 10:01pm On Aug 29, 2012
LOL grin
Barca is rated the best club in the world...they should be able to overcome a lone goal deficit in the amount of time remaining.

Tito needs to re-strategise and dem boiz need to quit bulldozing the RMD guys and play!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Cristalz(f): 9:58pm On Aug 29, 2012
AjanleKoko: We are being ripped apart embarassed

More like your backline is parting for 'em like the Red Sea for the Israelites.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Cristalz(f): 9:57pm On Aug 29, 2012
Okay, there was a foul.
RMD are only a goal up on agg...Barca can still bounce back.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Cristalz(f): 9:55pm On Aug 29, 2012
That would be a really biased statement.

Goal number 3 canceled. I don't think the refs got that call right undecided
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Cristalz(f): 9:52pm On Aug 29, 2012
Knock knock....Ajanlekoko, things are going way down south tonight.
