Politics / Re: Anambra Governorship Debate Live On AIT by Criticalobs: 8:51pm On Nov 01, 2013 |
Ngige doesn't belong to south east but south west, so let him wait to contest either in Osun state or Ekiti state rather than lying to Anambrians and pretending to be one of them. |
Politics / Re: ASUU Demanded For N3tn, Not N130bn by Criticalobs: 7:46am On Oct 03, 2013 |
How realistic is NGN3 Trillion ASUU Request from Nigerian Budget. In whose interest are the Lecturers? |
Politics / Re: ASUU Demanded For N3tn, Not N130bn by Criticalobs: 7:32am On Oct 03, 2013 |
This man Fagge and indeed ASUU are clearly insincere and political as government has insinuated. How much is the total government budget for the year and in any case the duty of ASUU is to teach (lecture) why the insistence on the money for infrastructural development, is it their duty to undertake the revamping of infrastructures in the schools. The earned allowances which are to be paid by their respective institutions why are they shifting it to the government, how much account have they given of their IGR and why are delimiting the autonomy they fought for and even went on strike to achieve, is that after all they didn't really need it. Too bad if they do not think through their demands thoroughly before subject students to hardship and drawing the country educational sector back. |
Travel / Re: Should I Quit My Job For Masters In The Us? by Criticalobs: 5:49pm On Sep 02, 2013 |
Great idea but I would advise that you take a masters in Nigeria while you work and grow your savings before leaving to the US. Nigeria is still in dire need of IT competence but the US labour market in IT is not deficient in cognate labour. You may also consider correspondence, where you can also work, keep family and study. |
Politics / Re: Ozekhome, Abductors Demand N250m Ransom by Criticalobs: 9:02pm On Aug 28, 2013 |
Had Debo Adeniran got the fact that four policemen died in their quest to rescue the victims from the abductors, perhaps his position would have been different. I think that in this case the security agencies particularly the police tried their best. I however pray for the harmless and unconditional release of the victims. |
Politics / Re: Fashola's Performance Is Overblown – CACOL by Criticalobs: 9:33pm On Aug 16, 2013 |
Yorubest: If his performance is overhyped, how come it is the number one investment destination in Nigeria? You must tell yourself the truth it not about tribalism here, Debo is right. Should he need concretising his findings we will help him and I tell you Lagosians and indeed Nigerian who are paying these moneys will weep for Lagos and Nigeria and man's inhumanity to man. They will all go the way of James Ibori or face the wrath of God. |
Politics / Re: Documents Show Lagos Informed Anambra Government Before Alleged Deportation by Criticalobs: 7:52pm On Aug 02, 2013 |
It is surprising that people are rushing to draw conclusions that do not follow from the letters displayed. I think Fashola and Ngige must bury their heads in shame, both as intellectuals, professionals and leaders. What do those letters say and how does it confer a right on Governor Fashola to deport Nigeria citizens from a bridge in Lagos to another bridge at Onitsha. When did Lagos begin to operate its own immigration laws, How much did Lagos state who claim rehabilitational motive give to the deportees to reintegrate them into the society whether in Lagos or in Onitsha, Under which roof were they dumped in Onitsha, why was Anambra state reply to their so called one way traffic letters not published, how do they proof that these letters were not afterthought, what did they do when they received no reply, how many people were returned to Osun State, Ogun state and indeed any other state other than Anambra. You would deceive the people gullible enough to buy into your white lies but not the critical and inquisitive Nigerian minds. Thank you. 4 Likes |
Celebrities / Re: Omawumi Allegedly Beat-up A Photo-Journalist At A Lagos Event? by Criticalobs: 6:12am On Jul 31, 2013 |
superior1: There is more to the story of the Journalist. You don't attack someone for taking your pics in the full glare of the public. The story doesn't add up. It is surprising what you want to add to it. Please do add it and lets see. Somebody had gone berserk and you say it doesn't up. How many times had Diego Maradona assaulted journalist? wake up. |
Politics / Re: Gov Amaechi On BBC HARDtalk (Video) by Criticalobs: 8:13am On Jul 26, 2013 |
Unfortunately eloquences or wordiness does not translate to governance, this guy is a damn obstinate and arrogant and does not qualify to be a local government council. Leaders listen and execute people's programme and must always heed the demand of the people not a fighter like Amaechi. He is a disappointment. 2 Likes |
Politics / Re: Abacha's Daughter Lash-Out At Wole Soyinka On Twitter by Criticalobs: 12:35pm On Jul 18, 2013 |
I think the lady has a point, our amiable professor ought to more circumspect and dispassionate in his comments on public discourses. He has in recent years been very obviously lopsided in his views and carefree in the use of language, but I wonder who will teach him the use of language he needs upgrade to be more continental, diplomatic and unbiased like statesman that he is. The "mere domestic appendage" is reflection of his male chauvinistic incline, perhaps points to why he could have three divorces in a world that preaches gender equality and equal opportunity for all. |

Politics / Re: Fani-Kayode - Jonathan Will Divide Nigeria If He Loses In 2015 by Criticalobs: 1:37am On Jun 26, 2013 |
Fani- Kayode should endeavor to return Nigeria fund that he has been keeping illegally than trying to contest the legality of Festus Keyamo's fiat to prosecute him and stoning the president for not shielding him from prosecution. Nigerians are more sensible than that now. You do not have credibility for criticism, most especially when it is untelligently deconstructive, lacking in both logic of appropriateness and consequence. I know you to be intelligent but you are clearly dabbing yourself black in the crass desperation to be vindictive. Oh boy you need o re-strategies. |

Celebrities / Re: Mercy Johnson's New Home In Ajah (Pictures) by Criticalobs: 3:02pm On May 13, 2013 |
Is this Mr. Okojie's house, if yes how many of his wives are living there, if not does he live with Mercy Johnson in her own house? Things must be done rightly, if he is a polygamist let him so declare, afterall is not a sin as the non-transparency of the scheme would keep tongues wagging. |

Music/Radio / Re: Matse Uwatse Of Nigeria Info -attitude Or Professionalism? by Criticalobs: 7:10pm On May 03, 2013 |
Matse has no depth at all she has aired several false news items, lack manners, speaks bad English and markets mediocrity on air and must be told so that she can amend her ways. It is surprising how she came by those awards, there several presenters that best qualify for these awards. I hope the organizers are fair and transparent - she does not merit those awards not even when the contest is restricted to Nigerian info alone. Infact Nigerian info, Wazobia Fm and Cool Fm must make conscious effort to hire right, experienced and mature presenters not these 'baby presenters' with due respect and apology to the few exceptions among them. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Buhari - No Difference Between Boko Haram And Niger Delta Militants by Criticalobs: 11:18pm On Apr 02, 2013 |
I thought General Buhari is intelligent but I now know he is not at all. This is somebody who had ruled this country yet in the full glare of the world he could say that Boko Haram is akin to militant agitation in the south. Let him trace the history of these agitations and state their correlation and he was prevaricating on how it started and whose duty it is to provide security. Let the General know that security is everyone business, as long as he does not divulge what he knows and his contribution to Boko Haram and withdraws his support for it, it will continue. Unfortunately I have always supported you but you just lost a supporter with this outburst which I believe his God's way of exposing your true self the likes me. Hypocrite, thank you do not have my Pastor with you again. |
Education / Re: Experience by Criticalobs: 10:55pm On Apr 02, 2013 |
This is unfortunate, I hope Bishop Oyedepo hears of this, it unchristianly, a breach of their fundamental human right and natural justice. You accused, prosecuted and imprison him all by yourself and at the same time. By the way what are they keeping prison inside there for. Again this is the effect of hiring people not qualified to positions of authority. Why would covenant university be cited for odd things always, why not the role model they claim to be or they such role model only by preaching and self acclaim. Bishop, redeem the image of the school enough of these negative publicity. |

Great step, this will enable them contribute positively and those that are still evading trial and blowing our commonwealth by using all tricks avoid restitution must not only be ex-communicated but ostracized from public office until our wealth in their possession is restituted. |
