Unilorin offers social works as a course o first set in their finals now trastar: I believe the person will get positive assessment. There's no social worker course in Nigeria really..the closest is Sociology..so package well and it should fly.. |

May you find peace and God grant all your desires.... AdeyinkaSeun: You will never hear the truth from people living in a country. Majority will deceive you by painting a rosy and wonderful pic of the country they live whereas they are suffering in silence. I’m not saying everybody is not successful in Australia but a lot of people, especially immigrants are having it tough. It is better to lower your expectations of what Australia is and what it has to offer. I see amongst Nigerians especially on this forum and similar forums, it is the good side of Australia that is projected. Go online, especially amongst Indians, people have expressed their opinions in a way I have done today to warn prospective immigrants. There’s a lot at stake, there’s a lot to weigh. I know Nigeria is bad right now and all we want to do is escape the “sh** hole” |

You mean for all profession sir Eladua: What school did you finish from and course. This is more important. If you studied in a Tier 2 university in Nigeria and don't have at least 4years work experience, pls don't waste your money. |

Hi,so you mean just bsc degree in education from a tier 2 university won't get a positive outcome from aitsl NNBB2012: Why did you think AITSL would give him positive assessment? Did he study Education at the undergraduate level? Mathematics is not a course under education category. PGDE NTI is not sufficient to earn him positive assessment from AITSL as he does not have underpinning degree in education. And you need at least 1 year experience as Mathematician to get a positive assessment from Vetassess. Don't waste your money on a path that would not get you positive assessment.
Australian Assessing bodies take assessments of overseas qualification very serious than you think. You need at least Bachelor degree in Education from 1st tier Universities from Nigeria to get a positive assessment.
If you have the money, you could try the study option (Teaching/Education). |

Please did you get a positive outcome..... Unilorin is just 6weeks abt30days i heard i hv to send the sylabus too please how true thanks! favourdamsel: ielts academics is written. 8bands no you don't need to register first with AITSL. before you can get positive assessment you must show evidence of 45 days supervised teach ing practice were a representative of University write letter with letter head paper you don't have a qualifications to be accessed as a secondary teacher. b.ed educational psychology cannot be used. note that experience is not required to get positive assessment. |

Wow 8 in ielts please how did u do it? And where? mumzt: Good afternoon everyone. Awesome thread and people on this thread.
I bumped into this thread about three weeks ago while searching for Australian immigration and have read over 80%. May God bless @belong for this thread and all those that have been selflessly supporting applicants.
Planning to send assessment to EA by the end of the month (my husband actually) hes the proncipal applicant. but I just want us to do it right as we have had a negative assessment beginning of this year due to a lot of ignorance.
My husband is a graduate of civil engineering with a masters in construction project management from a uk university. He practiced for a few years in the uk doing core civil engineering.
He's been working in naija since 2011 but in marketing and sales. So the first assessment was ignorantly sent. And a negative result because work experience and uni certificates didn't match.
From reading this thread religiously, I was able to tell where we made the initial mistake. Now here's our situation now and I would humbly like reviews and suggestions on how to do it right.
We both have ielts which was written last year for canadian immigration. Both got 8 across band and have the full 20 marks. My husband is the principal applicant. I'm a graduate of estate management but I practiced only for a few years before I went into personal assistant for about 5 years. But I'm now a fashion designer with a registered company.
My husband is writing his cdr and is almost through. All the grants and ITA making me nervous and excited at the same time. He has over 10 years experience but the last 6 was not in civil engineering. But he has a personal company that does core engineering (registered and paying tax accordingly) so he's writing his CDR with his uk experience and his personal company projects so as to bag the maximum experience of at least 10 years.
We're not so young (covers face) husband is 43 and i'm 38 so not much in points for the age band.
Can you people please take time from your busy schedules to help give advice on how to make this assessment positive.
I'm very sorry about my long write up. It's just the wish and excitement of hoping I'd one day give my own testimony about our grants.
Thank you |

Thanks so much the person does not bear my surname it an employer /staff relationship but interested in my studies and want to sponsor what your adv to me bros HonNellymike12: It depends on the persons company account you are using, if it's your parents own, u have no much problem as long as he can write a Sponsorship letter and also show the relationship between you as his son to him, but if it another person's account that doesn't bear your surname, you will have to prove the connection you have with such person and d document must be notarized and not fake, if the company is a trading company, you no you have to have the cac documents to show for the Registered company trading account you are using. The main thing is to show a connection between you and the person's that owns the account you want to use so as to convince the Consular Officer, hope you understand |
