BetaThings: You sound disappointed What was the crime of the policemen killed by t he coup plotters? I'm a bit disappointed but I don't like the idea of killing policemen. I'm disappointed because I'll love to see the end of Erdogan. Dictators don't sit well with me especially when they are democratically elected. |

This amateur coup has been defeated. If they haven't got to Erdogan by now, I don't see them succeeding again and besides, police are now holding some soldiers. |

buJu234: I think its wrong for a coup d dat in this 21st century. If u are not ok with the existing government then go the ballot vote and vote.
If ur view is among the majority then u can change the government, if not plx stay with the democratic elected government. .
Simple not coup,
I think Egypt sisi example is a bad example for the world society. This isn't about liking the government of the day, it's about restructuring the country. Erdogan is messing up things in the country. From pushing for an Islamic state to his incompetency to protect his people from terror organizations to jailing of top military officers. The man has stepped on toes and he has to go. |

Erdogan is going nowhere. Any attempt to launch him out of turkey through the air is considered a suicide mission. He's saving grace for now is the police force that is still loyal to him. Well, the military is going overrun the police force soon and Erdogan will be history.
FYI, Putin has no hand in this. |

mrkayusfit: If only the igbos can learn a thing or two from the smooth relationship between the south west and the north, they will understand why we dominate Nigeria's political terrain and why our culture is sought after world wide. Emir sanusi's sack by GEJ as CBN governor was celebrated by most igbos due to their staunch hatred for hausa/fulani forgetting that God has a bigger plan to make him an emir. I hope igbos learn to be tolerant and love other tribes instead of shouting biafra up and down Mumu |

Coldfeets: Double standard and hypocrisy you say?
Those people being witch hunted, are they corrupt or not?
Okay, if you agree they are corrupt, then stop defending corruption. Let them be sent to jail.
When another government comes in, let them start their own witch hunting as long as those being witch hunted are guilty as charged.
It's a simple logic but the ethnic bias and hatred in your brains will never allow you to see how this whole 'witch hunting' of a thing will eventually work out for your own good.
You are telling me that corruption is not our major problem and you want me to take you serious
Mtchewwww You see why I said hypocrisy is our problem. You want government to go after those they perceive as corrupt but not everyone that is corrupt? You definitely have a dead brain! |

Politics › Re: Halliburton: Fayose Justifies Claim Of Buhari Wife’s Involvement! Pictures by csamii: 10:42am On Jul 14, 2016 |
Mercysam23: Let's start gathering some few facts.
1. Fayose proved with facts from documents that Aisha buhari was mentioned in hilaburton scandal.
2. Our first lady denied her involvements, and claimed the Aisha mentioned has a different identity. APC pushed it further by providing the passport of the suspected Aisha.
3. Majority of the people following this case observed that between the period of the case and now, our first lady has been technically avoiding the US for one reason or other.
4. Bubu the incorruptable has not said anything. Infact, he has remained passive in this issue.
5. In an attempt to contact the US consul, he too said there is nothing to say about the case.
So, I can only conclude that
1. There is no case. If what fayose saw was correct, PDP would use it against the president, and insist he start the anti corruption war from his kitchen.
2. The incorruptible would have not just disassociated himself but deal viciously with such scandal at that level. ( I know him, he fought once against the double headed beast of indiscipline and corruption and prevailed).
3. Aisha would've panicked and withdraw from public engagements for conscience sake.
However, I do not doubt that fayose might be right. And if he is, Then
- PDP is a coward.
- The incorruptible is after all corrupt.
- our Lady is without a conscience
- Our nation is finished. And you forget that this is Nigeria where corruption thrives like garri selling. |

Coldfeets: Yes, and that's the reason why we chose him
Anybody who is wise enough will know that CORRUPTION is just about the ONE MAJOR problem that this country has that is setting us back.
Kill corruption and see Nigeria triumph into greater heights.
That's all
Sai Baba No! Corruption is not our major problem but double standard and hypocrisy. When you accuse people of been corrupt and you dine with other corrupt people, tell me, isn't that corruption itself? When fighting corruption and there's no road map of economic reformation, no wealth creation. Everything is centered on the fight against corruption, ain't you making the country weak and vulnerable to the same corruption? A graduate without job must survive and he will go to any length just to survive. |

But one thing I know for sure is that from the last 20 months to the expiration of the tenure if this administration, everything is gonna change, activities will be boosted, fuel price reduction, empowerment from all angles, economy boosts, employments, increment in workers salaries, New levels for IDPs, steady power. A plate of meal everyday for children non stop, NYSC increase in allowee, etc.. And they are all gonna happen because of ?? Not because of ?? Who can tell me? South west was merely compensated with vice presidency slot but what they fail to realise is that that position is a political black hole. A very irrelevant position. I even read more news online about the nonexistent office of the first lady, a position she never campaigned/contested for than that of the VP. Although I wish osibanjo well and want him to take over because he's literate/fit enough to lead than his illiterate boss. But boss na oga and oga pass second in command. So whatever buhari tells him to do, him must do. |

Throw Ronaldo into Rangers Nigeria and he will still win the league then bring him back to Real Madrid and he will win the league again but Messi can't even man up to play any team outside Barcelona (People say he is indebted to Barcelona "Is he a slave" Nonsense .
