Foreign stocks are not a small thing oooo, the main problem is it usually goes down heavily with the USA news. Any small yawa na huge Spartacus be that. Nevertheless, losses usually recover faster.

Stay away from Halo, any fund manager that does not have NAV up to a billion; your funds should not go there. Furthermore, the YTD numbers are easily manipulated.

As a newbie, if you dive in now, it is 50/50, if Kanayo continues, your capital is shielded, if Spartacus comes, it will eat your capital. My advice is to start with whatever you know you won't lose sleep over and start growing your capital gradually. Lastly, I recommend CardinalStone, Paramount, and Zedcrest.

That's great; however, I think ETFs are much easier to manage. I also have my personal equity fund from my foreign bank here, and it has been delivering gigantic returns compared to my own ETF portfolio.

They help you trade basket of U.S stocks like our Nigeria Equity fund does.

Minimum requirement is 100 dollar.

MTN is a bit pricey; however, if you have the cash and you want to hold it for a longer period, you can get in. It might do a thousand naira at the end of the year.

I have always wanted to invest in MTN, but its volatile nature as well as my understanding it wasn’t investing to build in Nigeria made me stay away from it but it seems they are looking towards investing in Nigeria now.

When Yakubu comes, Aradel will be the first to bleed, and MTN will follow as well. These two stocks are the most volatile in NGX.
