Ovamboland: Shut up! You hypocrite, many of you working in a standard organization, don't you have health coverage? Do you still pay from your pocket for in-patient and out-patient service? Some companies have health coverage that takes their senior staff and at times juniors out of the country for medical attention.
While I wish his medical condition can be treated in country, there is no evidence that any law today limits the Nigerian president from seeking medical attention abroad at state expenses. Can you show us that the medical coverage for the president excludes treatment in foreign hospital Buhari's wife donated millions of naira to idp in the north. Her attires are usually very expensive and valued at thousands of dollars. All buhari's children schooled in some of the most expensive schools in the UK. Stop pissing people off by coming to reinforce the insult that buhari is dishing out to the Nigerian people. We are already insulted by the dishonesty, and the fact that buhari actually believe we are dumb enough to fall for his thinly veiled hocus-pocus. Don't come and insult us further. |

babaolofin: I supported those who said you are ignorant after reading what you posted above. Lazy Nigerian youths will continue to complain without knowledge.
Working in the telecom industry for a while does not make you a core thoroughly bred professional. The fact that you mentioned the sector was privatized 10 yes ago exposed your total ignorance. You need to study hard & stop talking about telecom industry. The telecom sector deregulation by Obj in year 2000/2001 & the Nigeria large land mass & large population would be a case study for you. Only lazy youth will ask a question about what is telecom?
Each international loan has a framework about its utilization. The telecom stakeholders know about how it would be utilized. GSM operators are not the only major stakeholders. Mainly, the CBN & banks are major stakeholders here.
Financial inclusion for the rural areas require telecom infrastructure penetration to the rural areas. Mobile money platform requires telecom backbone. Health. Education, Agriculture & security at the rural areas require telecom infrastructure.
My only objection to the loan is Chinese taking the money back through projects executed by their companies in Nigeria. I am sure majority portion of the money would find their way back to China through projects. The projects would be beneficial to Nigeria.b Of course, the project would be beneficial to Nigeria. Nobody is doubting that. But is it our most pressing need? Is that where we will receive our biggest economic returns? A big NO . |

You were busy yapping about private jet that has zero impact on our discourse. Buhari promised to sell FG jets , but have not till today. Nigeria was growing at the rate of 7% annually. That is a fact. I can provide links if that is what you want. The ecomony was growing and there was money in circulation for businesses. Even if it was not enough by the stretch of the imagination. Right now, the flow of funds has been strangulated. Terrible micro and macro economics of this administration has rendered more Millions of people unemployed. That is a statement of fact. Under the truly clueless Jonathan, the economy was growing at the rate of 7‰ annually, which was barely enough given the rate of unemployment and population growth. To scratch the surface, Nigeria needed to grow at at least 12% for the next 20 years Guess how much Nigeria is growing under buhari? 2-3% . That is the growth rate of high saturated economies of highly developed western Europe and America. Jonathan's worst which was not even good enough is better than buhari's best. The most rotten eggs in the pdp are leaving.
From ibori to akpabio.
Ibori governed delta state in a period of unprecedented oil wealth and high naira value.
The United States was still a net importer of Nigerian crude and naira was very strong.
But what did he do? Packed the money in Ghana must go bags to the UK. Even the British police were shocked at the amount of British pounds they found in his British houses.
And the APC will gladly accept him now in their fold . Even their supporters are happy. Nigeria can suffer as long as buhari the gross incompetent wins. |

BabaRamota1980: What you type here is the wish. We all wish this, regardless of the region affected. Unfortunately this is not how elections turn out in reality.
Ibos in SW will not give you electoral victory, even if they are a billion in population. If you think that was possible then you do not yet understand the intrigues of democratic politics.
Add to that the experience of 1959 and 63 in Western Region and the drama with NCNC. The Yorubas of today have the experience and legacy of yesteryears and they know what to do to remain owners of the regional politics in SW....relocating 1 trillion Ibos to go live in SW and effect political displacement is a waste of time. You will end up as the victim. Your electoral value in SE reveals this fact when you look at the numbers. One begins to wonder....where is everybody?
Why does FG need to develop SE....for who, where is the population? A whole region have less than 8million....in a 200million + country. Wow! Igbos in the SW don't need to win the SW. They just need to constitute a critical mass to somewhat neutralize APC numbers so that even if APC wins the SW overall, it is not important. If the PDP wins the SE, SS, and NC. That is 3-3. It now bores down to number of states won. Get 1-2 states in the core north and it is over. As for the rest of your post, your own hate will consume you. Citizen of a brown roof region. The FG did not develop the east. The east built itself from the civil war. Your FG has very little stake there anyway. |
