Don't mind the nitwit posting mental filth on nairaland.
If Northern Nigeria have the least corrupt politicians available for service, then you begin to wonder why the region is in the doldrums.
Polio that has left somalia long ago is just being eradicated this year in the same region with incorruptible angels.

While it seems that Igbos, whether in the SE or based outside of the SE, have been able to devise a means to control their population, the other majority ethnic groups have not yet figured out how to do so. Religion and culture have been a tool to increase population in the North and South West, and with that have come continued or increasing poverty, especially in the North.

I understand that in Nigeria population determines how much money you get from the national purse, but such money have never been used to take care of the corresponding population of the receiving state or region; they have mostly been embezzled.

The Chinese, Japanese, Europeans and white America that have taken steps to reduce their population growth are not foolish. Igbos have learned from them, such that whereas our parents had 6 to 10 children a few decades ago, we the young ones, aged 40 years and below, now have an average of 3 kids per family. We may lose in the population-based sharing of the wealth in Nigeria, but with the continued dwindling of oil money we are going to be better off, being able to manage (educate and give a good living standard) our small families with the resource at our disposal.

I will not be surprised that if a clean and unbiased tribal-based census is conducted today, the Igbo population would be far lower than that of the Hausa-Fulani and Yoruba.
A situation where the average yoruba man has atleast an extra wife outside aside his legitimate wife, the population explosion in the south is not surprising.
Infact it is a normal cultural behaviour for any average man with some small loose change in his pockets in that part of nigeria to have illegitimate wives and kids.
Indiscipline and its resultant effects.

Moreover, I was talking about Nigerian institutions and infrastructure.
Those Nigerians weren't made the best by Nigeria. They were made the best by their own personal efforts and the conducive environment existing in the United States.
So that doesn't apply here.
And they will deservedly give all their best to america who developed them.
Why then are some Nigerians always celebrating news of outstanding foreign graduates who will probably never work a single day in Nigeria.?

Yours is a laboured argument devoid of merit!

Contrary to you, secularism of State is what maintains peaceful co-existence in a multi-religious society.

The more evenly balanced the sects are, the better for stability. Your reasoning is upside down!
Secularism of state will not stop religious clashes in a society where half of the population tend to one religion, while the remaining tend to another.
It is just an impossible situation for any secular state to manage. Instead there will be a gradual eradication of the secularity of the state.
Religion is a very emotional subject that does not follow a rational social formulae.
There is nowhere in the world where two major religions are evenly spread without resultant religious clashes and break down of social fabric..
There must always be a dominant religion to create a semblance of social stability, it is the secularity of the state that will ensure that the dominant does not oppress the minority.

There's something VERY WRONG with the IGBO tribe...the past election and there after greatly revealed the MIND of the average Igbo Man and Woman: VERY UNREASONABLE, HATES TRUTH, TRIBALISTIC, DELUDED AND VIOLENT

The reason why a number of people these days say they are the ''The Most Hateful And Tribalistic Group In Nigeria'' is not only because it's TRUE but because people (other tribes) are MORE AWARE of their character more than ever before.

The Igbo man is NOT for PEACE, REASON,UNITY; what they want is CONTROL, MANIPULATION TO ACHIEVE THEIR AIMS AT THE EXPENSE OF OTHER TRIBES WHO THEY UNREASONABLY PERCEIVE AS THEIR ENEMIES

BUT THERE ARE A VERY FEW AMONG THEM WHO ARE TRULY GOOD AND REASONABLE PEOPLE ...YOU JUST NEED TO KNOW WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH...

But you see...no matter the EVIL they may wish NIGERIA; saying the ''Zoo must Fall'' , GOD's good intentions for Nigeria and it's people will come to pass. AMEN!
Your ranting will only make sense if the so-called igbo man have been in power for decades.
Your country is a shitthole governed by imbecilles for decades, and the igbo man is very far from it.

If you can't understand that, then you truly are a bimbo.

Is it that you are uninformed or that you deliberately seek contradiction? Go to the US, Canada, UK, Germany, India, Russia, Ghana, Senegal, Kenya, South Africa etc. and you will find all kinds of religions side by side. Very few countries in the world have one religion.
The problem is not the presence of more than one religion.
The problem is in what proportion are the religions distributed?
As you can see from the world today, every single stable nation on earth is either irreligious, or has one dominant religion with other religions existing side-by-side as minority religions.
There is no stable progressive nation on earth with two major religions existing there in nearly equal proportion. It is an invitation to social chaos.

In your eagerness to enter the ring, you missed the point I addressed. I repeat his assertion again, " All over the world, Muslims always want to be by themselves and never want to share a country with non-Muslim or infidels"

Since you agreed that most countries are multi-ethnic and multi-religious, it is self-evident that you are the one uttering slimy trash. By the way, "baloney" has one 'L' and not two. "atleast" is wrong English
Are you hallucinating?
What does the muslim trash you wrote up there have to do with this

You are missing a lot. For one, most countries in the world today are multi-ethnic and multi-religious in nature. It is because you cannot see beyond the grave of biafra and ibo bigotry that the world has passed you by.

This is simplistic and ignorant.
Yes, most countries are multi-ethnic and multi-religious, but the fact is that in these countries there is always a majority ''class'' that creates the resultant stability for the rest of the'' minority'' to thrive..
Nigeria on the other hand have atleast three majority ''class'' with each struggling for their portion amidst the resultant chaos.
Get an education before yapping utter balloney.
Btw, biafra has never been a single -ethnic concept.

The first thing i expect buhari to have done as someone who wants to set Nigeria permanently on the part of progress is to emit the body language of true federalism.
He is a fulani and so is in a position to restructure this country permanently without ruffling northern egos and feathers.
I expect him by now to begin to lobby the national assembly to begin a gradual transfer of economic powers to the state.
I expect him to begin to lobby critical solid mineral industrial giants to invest in the north.
Unfortuntely the signal we get from buhari is that of a core unitary govt advocate. He wants to control everything.
Nigeria will never be prosperous under this system of govt even if corruption reduce to zero.
There will always be gross under-utilization of resources by the center.
