remsonik: He's not moving the military headquarters but the command control center. The headquarters will still be secured and of course there are military formations in every geopolitical zone.
No part of Nigeria will be left vulnerable op And you know this, how? Are you privy to any secret report on Nigeria's preparedness to forestall an attack? |

crownprince102: Over 15,000 died under GEJ and over 2 million internally displaced. At that same time, GEJ was using 1 billion to eat, 4 billion to maintain Jets and sharing dollars to monarch. Who is the slowpoke between you, GEJ and PMB? But that was why GEJ was voted out. Stop comparing him to buhari. Remember your buhari is supposed to be a radical change from GEJ. |

I am not a fan of sahara reporters but that was very brave and worthwhile. Mugabe probably thought this was zimbabwe where the press are under dictatorial control. Face to face with the most free and aggressive press in africa should be a nice parting gift for the old man. |

Fkhalifa: congratulations gunners, we know some big clubs that spent well yet trophyless, ending in europa and awaiting play off for UCL
hehehe chelsea fans you cant brag over us,we won the biggest trophy in English football. Only an arsenal fan can be deluded enough to say this. The delusions of grandeur that arsenal is known for is looking like a worldwide pandemic. You guys should share bedtime stories with your fellow "we were the biggest club in the 80s" Liverpool colleagues. Anyway keep winning the FA tin cup while serious teams fight for the league. |

otr1: Now you want out abi? The same reason why Azikwe turned down Awolowo's demand of the Yorubas to stay out of the marriage is the same reason why we will never let you go until we are ready or at least, when we are convinced you've got some senses. When we were practising true federalism, your senseless ancestors were not satisfied. They killed the leaders, installed their brother in khaki and he lumped the country together the way it is now. Don't tell me you're tired of one Nigeria. It's time to enjoy the fruit of your fathers' labor. Call us Northern slaves all you want; we know who and who is living in bondage in this country. This country splits only when we call it quit. Dragging ND with you won't help. Sorry, the SW cannot split unanimously. Anyway you guys are in luck, because your neighbours wants to leave too. If not, forget any oduduwa nation. |
Politics › Re: Asset Declaration: Buhari Should Stop Being Clever By Half by CSTR2: 4:54pm On May 31, 2015 |
Incase the buhari folks are too dense to know, what buhari has currently done is not different from what jonathan did. The old man then publicly promised without coercion to go a step further and publicly declare his assets if he wins as a sign of his incorruptability. In 30 days time, and even the most dense set of sai buhari mindless hordes will no longer have a leg to stand on when buhari is harshly criticized on this forum. |

The assets declaration thing will mark the beginning of the test of buhari's credibilty. After the next 30 days, the buhari supporters will not have the excuse of "insuffient time" to save them. |

abduljabbar4: See how you are exposing yourself. Yoruba and Hausa were tribalists but your ibo brother was a nationalist Yes there were both tribalists with notable tribal statements to back it up. While saudana was busy publicly ramping up northern superiority in the north , awolowo was in the the SW calling Nigeria a "mere geographical expression". On the other hand ,Nnamdi Azikiwe has no record of tribalism. Infact, at the early beginning of Nigeria's nationhood, the igbos were the most loyal supporters of one-Nigeria unlike the SW and North playing tribal politics. Certain things happened and Nigeria lost the support and patriotism of its most loyal citizens of those days -the igbo people . Instead of the rest of the country to find out what caused such dramatic change and rectify it, they consolidated on the madness that caused the change. |

mandhi: Much as I understand their grievances with the northern Sudan over wealth sharing. They were not ready for self governance and shld not have had the referendum in the first place. Their so called elders had the selfish interest of laying hands on the wealth for their enrichment at the detriment of their people. They should have solved or find a way to get more on wealth sharing in terms of allocation, development and education of citizenry by the Central gov't. A food for thought to my southern brothers. We may be facing challenges now, but our founding father were right about Nigeria and if they had any doubt about the country during colonial rule. Am sure they would not have sign to independent Nigeria. Let's all drop our personal grieves and let's sacrifice to make Nigeria work. We have a leader in who the mojarity masses entrust mantle of leadership, let's pray for them move on and become that great nation Nigeria was destined to be. GOD Bless Nigeria and every place else. Your so-called founding fathers like awolowo and saudana were tribalists. The only true founding father you have is azikiwe and i don't think he would believe in this country if he was still alive. |

MaziKachi: As long as they are not killing, kidnapping, or terrorising Nigerians. They are simply not part of Nigeria's many problems. They become one when they start disturbing public peace. For now, Biafra day is just another festival. That is how it should be. Violence will make the biafrans lose the much needed goodwill. It will keep being an international festival till the UN grant them referendum before your very eyes. |
