No, it's a spending account. These are the criminals that asked Ngozi okonjo iweala to share it all. Now our excess crude account is gone, and we can no longer defend our currency. Locusts. |

Osita chidoka a very smart young man. Pure hustler. The guy does not want anything that will disrupt his ministerial post under atiku. |
Godszilla:Your govt is borrowing to pay subsidy. Where do you think those funds are going to ? Marketers. Private marketers are eating billions of dollars. Your govt is borrowing to fund cheap fuel in Cameroon, togo, Benin republic e.rt.c as fuel is smuggled across the border. Don't vote for thieves, if you want the freed up funds to be properly managed to make your life better. But subsidy must go. |
Btw, prices will come down at the end. In a free market, competition will arise, and marketers and filling stations would be looking to corner customers to themselves at the expense of their rivals, which would lead to drop in prices. Two filling stations on one street would not sell at the same price. Two marketers would not sell at the same price. And once dangote fuel enters the market, the prices would also keep dropping. It will get worse before it get better. But subsidy must go. |
lansile:Obi will remove subsidy. He has already told you he will do so as his first order as president. You can vote him or leave it. That is what any decent leader would do. Fortunately, he has the integrity to ensure that the gains go directly to the people. If subsidy should ever be removed, Obi is the right person you would want to supervise the freed up funds. |
clinician2x:Other countries have poor earners too and yet they are not enjoying subsidizes fuel. That is why we need to elect a frugal and upright leader. Removing subsidy when you have a thief as president would be hell. Literal hell on Earth. We are losing a lot to cheap fuel. Money that should go into increasing the standard of living of the people. If we have a decent leader, we won't even feel the subsidy removal in the long run. The money would go directly to the people. But if the money is stolen, that is suffering pro max. |
Criminals. They are benefitting from subsidy. All the money for health, education, is going to the pockets of these marketers in the name of subsidy. Remove the subsidy. Competition will drive the prices down. |
Allanoba:God's blessings does not bring sorrow. The husband forced down that "blessing" with his dicckk. It was not God that sent it. |
Useless man. Ejaculating inside a woman with 6 children already when you can't even afford to feed one. |
kay1one:You get time sha. You are trying to make sense to a bigot? |
If despite the suffering and the poverty. Go to the filling station and see queues of people looking for fuel. Expensive fuel that have now become unavailable. If apc the ruling party still manage to win an election under such bad conditions, then it would be madness to keep praying for Nigeria. Just accept your fate. The Bible says, the poor would not depart from the land. I think it applies to poor nations too. There would always be poor and backward nations like Nigeria. |
walefresh3:If Tinubu and shettima are popular enough to win an election in Nigeria, that is fine. It would be clear to the world that Nigeria is perfectly happy with where they are. And nobody would give a fuckkk. |
That is why labour party should focus on the southern Nigeria and the North Central. Focus the energies there. The moment you leave those terrains, there is a significant drop in IQ, and it is not a coincidence that there is sharp increase in poverty and illiteracy too. |
kamalbob:Nyamuri has the second Lowest poverty rate in the country, with the highest overall human developmental index in Nigeria. Elections will come and go. Nyamuri will move on and keep improving their lot, while you will keep languishing in the poverty and hopelessness that dominates your terrain. You may win the battle of one day, but nyumuri will win the war. |
ATLIEN2027:That is an apc state. With a poverty rate that will shock the devil himself. There is nothing successful about apc in that state. |
Is it a coincidence that jigawa is the Poorest state along with zamfara.? There is a strong correlation between stupidity and poverty. |
If this is any part of this country that needs change, it is southern kaduna. Those guys have suffered enough from el rufai and the satanic Party called the APC. |
Godfullsam:Igbos won't let him? How? Don't worry. You will blame Igbos too when inflation enters 100%. |
Nigerians should have protested the decision to take the show to south Africa. We have nothing to gain from doing a big brother show with them. |
Blazebond:Ermm, no they ought to be Patriots. Patriotism is loyalty to the country, not an individual. I know the concept is alien to you since you are supporting a proven crook like Atiku. But the only hope for commoners like you in this country is for politicians to be loyal to country, rather than individuals. |
The south African women are even more xenophobic than their men. The poison they vomit online is crazy. Xenophobes with a giant ass. Just fuckkk and dump them. |
The only thing that is keeping tinubu in the race is Peter obi. Without Peter obi, atiku would win with a level that has never been won since 1999. |
Peter obi should concentrate his northern forces in the north Central. A lot of progressive states there. Leave the North west and North east for the bigots to fight over. Any thing he gets from there is a gift. |
ganye1:It's a combination of both. A greed for power with zero regard for other constituents and tinubu being a shitty candidate. The north is not voting for atiku because tinubu is a bad option. I don't think those guys are interested in any form of good governance in the first place. They are voting for atiku solely because he is from the North. Tinubu enjoyed that same bigotry in 2015 when the north ganged up against Jonathan to bring Buhari to power. They have not changed. It's tinubu that thinks they will change for him. |
They are going to teach Tinubu the real meaning of bigotry in the core north that he is depending on. He should not bother about the south. We don't know tinubu in the first place. We know our candidate. |
Buhari4sale:But that is not the fault of Peter obi. He is as powerless as you for now. Infact if what you said is true, then it is the fault of your commander in chief. Peter obi is not your commander in Chief. The bulk does not stop at his table. Did you face Buhari when Boko Haram took many regions in the North as captive during Jonathan govt? Infact, unlike Peter obi, Boko Haram nominated Buhari as their mediator during Jonathan. I took my time to educate you so that you will not vomit nonsense like this next time. |
TheNiceGuy:Yes. We should compare their records in corruption and state capture. |
GboyegaD:Is keyamo running for president? Your potential president is already selling out govt favours and you are busy concerned with keyamo. Wow. |
A Transactional politician of the worst kind. Corruption personified. You don't need to be Einstein to Know that this man will loot at the next opportunity and give out favours for dark interests. But somehow he is a favourite to win an election in a country with human beings that claim to have brains. |
yerimastyle:Go and see the queues in the fuel stations across the country, the conc poverty and the insecurity. The corruption and the massive looting of resources. The unemployment and the massive national debt. The real question the rest of the world will ask us is that "how did obi lose the election"? In any sane country, going through what Nigeria is going through, obi cannot lose. |
A nation that votes for thieves, traitors and criminals are not victims but accomplices. -George Orwell. Nobody should pity us anymore. Nigeria is exactly where the people want it to be, especially after this coming Elections. |
