One candidate openly said he will only give appointment and contracts to those that won their polling unit for him. He has also been sued by the opposition for using a so called "special purpose vehicle" as corruption conduits. He was caught on tape admitting that The other candidate is telling us that it is his turn, while one of his supporting governors openly said on campaign ground that it is tinubu's turn to chop. Two old transactional politicians with corruption running deeper than the Pacific ocean. If obi loses, he is not among the first 150 million people that would be affected by it. He is rich enough to rise above the bad governance. The majority of the country would be fuckkked. |
There is no big deal about obi losing na. This is his first time. Atiku, Buhari and other politicians have lost at the first ,second and third trials atleast. So will heaven fall if obi loses? It doesn't mean he can't try again. It's Nigeria's lose anyway, because the alternatives to him are terrible. |
Nobody Is saying yorubas are hateful now o. Imagine if it happened in Nnewi, or aba. You will hear nonsense like "the North remembers", as if they are the only ones with a memory. |
Yes o. As Lord and master of Nigeria. Idiot. |
ATLIEN2027:The VP candidate of the apc banned CRK in borno. They also caught kabiru sokoto in his house. Google about kabiru sokoto Incase you have forgotten. I am fine with Tinubu winning. As long as me and you are in the same country and using the same currency and going to the same markets. Hopefully in time, you would realise that politics is not a football rivalry. It's about your future. In pulling others down, you will pull yourself and your children down. |
ATLIEN2027:And awolowo lost woefully. That is all you need to know. |
A foreigner would think apc is the opposition party that wants to remove a ruling party. Shameless people. |
onatisi:It's annoying. These people don't rate us at all. The other day, lalong was saying openly that it was tinubu's turn to chop. Imagine the nonsense. It's only in Nigeria that a failed ruling party like the apc would be campaigning for re-election with the swagger of a fresh revolutionary party. No self awareness, no shame. |
ATLIEN2027:Those were military dictators. You had no choice but to take it. Dem no born anybody well to do anything then. Grow a brain. |
Idiot. So we have not tried the apc? We should keep trying the apc even when they have failed woefully? Did they tell this tout that the reason why Buhari failed is because he ran with a Christian? Tout oshi. |
viodemus:If that is true, then why do they give scholarships to only students with high gpa in Nigeria.? Those with lower class of grades would have to pay through their nose. Don't they know that Nigerian education is more of the sharpest memory wins? |
Invest4growth:Abeg, expo na expo. Nobody that went through a Nigerian university will fail with expo. |
No wonder first class is like water there. |
ojtech8291:Shettima that provided refuge for kabiru sokoto. That tinubu/shettima ticket is a national security risk. |
NwaMamaIwota:It's very possible. He was defending Tinubu on TV sometime ago. Atiku may have already silently threw him out of his campaign for being a bad market. And guy man has latched on to Tinubu. We know in the apc anything goes. All kinds of evil characters are supporting Tinubu. |
Naz34:Politics is not chelsea versus arsenal. There is no "game on" with your future at stake. It's not a game. Your economy is not different from the economy of the other person. If you vote in a corrupt despotic leader who thinks he owes no loyalty to the people, because you think politics is a game, you will suffer the bad governnace too. |
Reno has become desperate. He is fighting frantically for his interests throwing everything at obi and see which one sticks. All those plenty Igbos in the pdp supporting atiku will not bring ipob to the military too? What a clown. |
Two things stands obi out of the pack. Two critical ingredients for any good governnace. - He has conquered personal greed and waste. - He has learned and improved the quality of his intellect over the years through consistent world class education. These qualities are so rare, but so critical. |
Patriotsleague:But the inability to do the basic stuff is why Nigeria is where it is. The lack of political will. We are not asking to go the moon yet. We want the basic stuff. Give us light, give us good hospitals, improve education, reduce poverty, reduce insecurity, reduce corruption, create jobs, reduce the cost of governance. These are basic stuffs that has become difficult for every past president. To accomplish those basic stuff will require uncommon character. |
colestephan86:He did a lot. He changed that state for good, compared to where it was coming from. |
So you are debating over something that happened over 50years. 50years ago? All the perpetuators are long dead. Why are we not even debating all the other coups that came after it? Those ones don't have tribes? After debating it, you will all come back to the reality of your economic and security state. |
Peter obi is building his brand. If he does not win, he is going to be the most followed politician in Nigeria that has not become president yet. A president in waiting. Only a matter of time before he becomes a president. And if tinubu or atiku enters and shitts the bed with their corruption, the peter obi brand will shine even brighter. |
Imagine if Nnamdi Azikiwe and Anthony enahoro were alive today And they heard one Yoruba upstart ranting that they came to Lagos because of him. They would die of laughter. |
80% of the major legacy infrastructures in Lagos were done by lateef Jakande and Ibrahim babangida. That was long before Tinubu even dreamt of being a governor. A clown that want to steal the legacy of others. |
All the politicians and military men of the 50s and 60s, all lived in lagos at one point in their Lagos. All the major legacy companies in Nigeria had their HQ in Lagos as far back as the 60s and 70s. Tinubu was still a drug dealer in Chicago then. |
sinero:Inspite of him, not because of him. Lagos was still ahead of the rest when lateef Jakande was governer. Lagos was ahead of the rest during the time of burba marwa the former military governor of Lagos. Lagos was still ahead of the rest as far back as Eni Njoku the first vice Chancellor of unilag was living in lagos. You should compare Lagos to its mates in other parts of Africa, alone. Let us see how well your Tinubu have performed. |
sinero:Lagos was already a cosmopolitan city before Tinubu was born. You can thank the British for that. Nnamdi Azikiwe grew up in Lagos. There are non-indigenes that have been in Lagos before Tinubu left Chicago. Are you saying Lagos was not cosmopolitan during the time of lateef Jakande? Where was Tinubu when Nnamdi Azikiwe and Eni Njoku were living in Lagos.? Better develop your sense and vote right. |
Golan007:And that is not his fault. He is a civilian just like you. Infact, it's a bigger reason why we should vote for him. The apc led federal government and the state governments in the south east are to blame, not a common civilian like peter obi. |
Abeg let me go and code in Java. No time abeg. Someone that is wasting over 40% of his salary on transport fare to work, because of agberos on the road is telling Peter obi to wait for the next 8yrs so that tinubu can govern first. ![]() Is that not insanity? |
sangresan:The likelihood of that is low. Obi is who we thought Buhari was in 2015. The difference is that Obi has actually walked the talk as a governor. Just by drastically reducing the stealing and the wastage of public funds and diverting it to critical areas of need is enough to leave Nigeria better than he met it. Releasing the economy from the stranglehold that Buhari has placed on it is also another low hanging fruit that would not take much effort to accomplish. Without even doing much, obi would leave Nigeria better than he met it. |
NavasBit:He can even wait till the next 50yrs. He is filthily rich. He is a rich man anywhere in the world. Bad governnace will not touch him. At Worst, he will travel out, if Tinubu ruins the country to the limit. The real question is, can you wait? Are you filthy rich? Or you are part of the masses suffering under worsening economy, and nationhood.? It's you that cannot wait, and not Peter obi. |
BeardedmeatR:I guess president Obama and president trump were not serious candidates. You can't give what you don't have. Clown. |
