Finland: Using "table" is a figure of speech. it means eating with the family and not in a kitchen or balcony.

Obviously, I know that.

I don't seem to understand the logic behind this question.
Is it sitting on a dining table with a family that is important or the satisfaction, quantity & quality of what is digested?

Not all family eat together on a dining table or at the same time. I don't eat with my family on the dining table or gatherings. I take it to the couch/sofa or sit on the rug or my room if I have friends over.

I think the question should be, does your housemaid consume hygienic, nutritious, tasty & mouthwatering meals just like every member of your family?

Do you serve your maid ordinary tap water when you consume soda, wine or tea?

Do you buy tiny meat pie for your maid while your kids are having a three course meal during an outing?

Do you buy your maid mere tissue or toilet roll during her menses/period when always pad is just 150 naira.

Does your maid use omo to have her bath instead of a bathing soap?

I don't think a maid is really particular about a table but the standard of food she is eating and if she is filled up or not.
A maid can eat on the same table with a family, that doesn't limit her meal from being total rubbish, it could be out of sheer hypocrisy

Nigerians just like finding victims for every issue. This seems like an attempt to spring up the housemaids are badly treated syndrome.
