IELTS general is recommended for NSE. But they accept either one for now. This memo you posted is not the most recent. The letter IRCC sent you would have specified if they wanted a particular one. People here have successfully used IELTS general saskatoonguy: Thank you Yteem and mankind5050. This attached information is what is confusing me. Have you seen anyone that successfully used IELTS General |

Wow! What agency could they be referring to? This is unnerving. OtunbaTee: When I heard this stuff I thought it was a joke..but I decided to act on it. I stopped and deleted all negative comments on my social media, I even changed my name in some ,since someone told me it's part of the background check they do. But today i confirmed it and I am really shocked... pls see this reason for refusal below... |

Don't be so pessimistic. Two people here got PPR without Medicals. They eventually got their Medical requests afterwards. Anything is possible these days Tt4tolu: I just got the correspondence letter. I'm waiting for the rejection letter. I won't deceive myself because I haven't done medicals neither did I receive the NSE letter. We move. |

Study permit is actually given to everyone at the Port of entry. The stamp on your passport is the student visa(TRV... temporary resident visa). So you will go with your letter of introduction (LOI) and port of entry letter(if I'm not mistaken) Deohlarh20: I'm lost .You mean even presently those that their passport were requested for recently also would go through this ? I thought once the passport is stamped that's all or am I wrong ? |

englois: I guess you mean he deferred to May not March. Well, has he done medicals before the initial rejection, if yes await good news. If no, he should go ahead and do upfront medical. By the way, some even applied in December and have gotten PPR. It's not easy to be kept waiting but just be patient. It will surely end in praise. For his course in Saskatchewan Polytechnic, (business management)...there's a March start date actually. Next intake after that is September. They don't have May intake for that course. And yes he did and submitted an upfront Medical. Along with mybankstatement certificate and IELTS (CLB 10). We cannot really understand why it's taking so long since November. Yet some December people have gotten approvals. |

Hi guys!
I'm fairly new here. Been reading and catching up. Wish I joined this thread before my spouse applied. We ended up using an immigration consultant living in Canada.
Please is there anyone who applied in November and has received an approval?
Hubby applied alone in November (after a refusal in September). We are yet to get any feedback from our consultant.
She also added all the NSE requirements (IELTS, mybankstatement, upfront medicals) even though we did not get NSE request.
His classes were to start on the 11th of January but he has deferred to March intake since there's been no response.
Anyone in our shoes please? We are getting so antsy waiting for a response.
It shall end in praise by God's grace |
