yes you do brov. so far you bought before the qualification date. Forget T+3 that applied to your cash payment after selling your share.

Qualification date is 13th April like said. Monday is 16th when the markdown will be done. So if he sells on Monday, he will get it.

U should've said except he BUYS today.

To qualify for any dividend, an investor needs to either BUY ON OR BEFORE THE QUALIFICATION DATE, or SELL AT LEAST A DAY AFTER THE QUALIFICATION DATE (...anytime after the qualification date).
So since he's selling, YES he should qualify for any dividend payout by Monday.

NOTE: This issue has already been extensively broken down for easy understanding in the past here.

Can you kindly run analysis on ABCTransport? Their Q3 EPS is 20k which looks interesting but am looking for any red flag on their result.

i can see you eyeing the good one among them brov, i have been watching too. abc transport is the best among those affected 1k rules.

though i have 6k as Q3 EPS at my side
the company reduced their short time borrowing by half, it reflected on the financial cost from 422k to 162k, may be the reason for the positive profit as at Q3 2017

at currentprice of 38k , the stock is trading at discount but not bad idea for the hunters to see it more lower

red flag - negative retain earnings
- it look like the company is selling their asset for cash
- negative free cash
- no dividend expectation here

it is my own opinion and the price above only base on numbers excluding other factors

Their business is being threatened. People don't use luxury buses anymore.

They prefer to use mini buses that are smaller and faster. ABC entered into using the buses late. Hence that was why their patronage reduced, hence revenue.

Lots of individuals are opening up transport firms with Mimi buses. So this isn't an opportunity for them.

I think it is cargo section of the business that will up their revenue.

It is a no go area for me.

I have been keeping Upl for a while now but it stays at 2.18.make I sell it now and the price move........na so so so blame i go receive.I dont mind selling a stock to jump into a better one if i see the opportinity.

loco you did nothing wrong by selling oando. infact it was the best decision as at the time you let it go.. never keep stock on hope. just keep eyes away from oando and look at great opportunity ahead.
