Birth story as follows: I went to antenatal as usual on Wednesday, 11th which was also my EDD using LMP. The doctor asked if I have started having any sign of labour and I said no except the braxton hicks contractions that are becoming more painful. He said ok that he is giving me extra one week and if labour does not start then I will be induced and all what not.
I went home and around 2:36pm of that same day, I started having strong contractions that were 8-10 minutes apart. I knew that labour has started. I ignored the pains and was kept myself busy with laundry and kitchen stuff. DH came back and was surprised to see that I have gone into labour and was that calm. He suggested going to the hospital immediately but I was delaying until we had dinner. We finally got to the hospital by 8:24pm. The nurse checked me and I was 6 cm dilated, meanwhile no show and no rupture of membrane. she has to rupture the membrane artificially. By 9:58, the pains became something else and I had the urge to poo. I was taken straight to the labour ward. I was fully dilated this time and with two pushes, my princess came forth at exactly 10:00 pm. I am a first time mom.
The pains were out of this world altogether but I give God the glory for the strength and courage he gave me. My daughter is so cute that I can't take my eyes of her.
To all the pushing mamas, God will make it easier for you all and to those ttc, you shall testify this year in Jesus name, Amen. There is no need to entertain fear. Just tell God what you want and how you want it and he will do it. I want to say a very big thank you to all those that answered my questions and those that shared their stories. It helped me (&many) alot.

Part 3:
I was taken to d delivery room by 11pm.. the matron on duty den decided to augument my labour so the contractions will be faster..meanwhile my phones had be switched off cos I didn't want my mum to find out. she later did and came to d hosp by 11pm with two different legs of slippers
I was given oxytocin inj on my lap, oxytocin inj in normal saline I.v..that was when labour started..father lord in heaven...Kai!! oh boy forget breathing technique o! it only works if u labour on ur own..I saw heaven on earth..the contractions were crazy..the back pains were outta dis world.I screamed my lungs out at d slightest pain
when it was 2am,the nurses checked again and said I was just 4cm dilated. my morale dropped..
then they bust my water..guess what? my prince had pooed..water was green..

This mama sabi write story, see m here as I dey imagine d scenario like say I dey there. May the good Lord protect u and ur prince. May he b a source of joy to u and ur entire family. Still waiting for d concluding part of the story sha.

'M home now.scan was done.empty gestational sack.My dh travelled and will be back by weekend.After which we will go to the hosp for the d & C.I hope to recover quick and join this wonderful family soonest.I pray for all expectant mums that you will deliver safely and without any problems.Thanks for your support.

Pele just try not to eat plenty food at a time. eat in bits and don't wait till u r super hungry before u eat. this helps you not to get too filled up and your body is also able to metabolise the food faster. instead of eating 3 times a day u can make it 6 times or take fruits in between the meals and then eat 3 timesbut don't heep the food like say tomorrow no dey.

joint pain is part of the package o. my own no be here at all especially knuckes and wrist but thank God Am getting relieved day by day

Not only u, the heat is somethn else, I hada terrible night cosofthe heat last nite. I just pray april will come and go and all these will pass.

Re the 3 sonographers giving u same 3weeks interval/increase or it was the one u had 2day? If they r all giving u same result then the most possible cause/reason is wrong dating.. 3weeks is too much to b added, if it's stil a week,its stil within range. Pls let me knw

Good evening sabi mamas in the house, pls I don't seem to understand the three sonographers I av been to since conception. I am 27weeks pregnant and just went for my scan, only for the sonographer to tell me scan showed 30 weeks,then argument started btw us cos I know my LMP and I am not a novice when it comes to calculating GA(though this is my first time). Now my question is what could be d reason for this discrepancies? And I hope all is well wt me and my baby wt these disrepancies?

Good morning wonderful mamas. thank you for showing me love. They couldn't save the baby. I had to be induced and delivered him prematurely. It was a painful sad experience, but I know God knows best. I have the faith that very soon in sha Allah, I'll be amongst the pregnant mamas on this thread again. It shall be well.

It is well with u, just as u rightly said, God knows best, he will surely makeu happy again, and the joy shall be with u forever Insha Allah.

1. Avoid lifting heavy objects
2. Bend your knees and keep your back straight when lifting or picking up something from the floor
3. Move your feet when turning round to avoid twisting your spine
4. Wear flat shoes as these allow your weight to be evenly distributed
5. Work at a surface high enough to prevent you stooping
6. Try to balance the weight between two bags when carrying shopping
7. Sit with your back straight and well supported
8. Make sure you get enough rest, particularly later in pregnancy
9. A firm mattress can also help to prevent and relieve backache. If your mattress is too soft, put a piece of hardboard under it to make it firmer
10.Massage can also help.

Exercise


1. Start in a box position (on all fours) with knees under hips, hands under shoulders, with fingers facing forwards and abdominals lifted to keep your back straight
2. Pull in your stomach muscles and raise your back up towards the ceiling, curling your trunk and allowing your head to relax gently forward – don't let your elbows lock
3.Hold for a few seconds then slowly return to the box position
4.Take care not to hollow your back – it should always return to a straight, neutral position
5.Do this slowly and rhythmically 10 times, making your muscles work hard and moving your back carefully
5.Only move your back as far as you can comfortably

If it becomes very severe...See your Doctor.

How una dey mamas and papas in d ouse, I guess we are doing great.please o who knows what I need to do, I am 25 weeks 4days and been battling wt severe back pain since two days ago, wen I say severe, I really mean it. Pls any suggestion on what I should do. Evrythn just tire me sef, na only m waka come, DH and I don't live together cos we work in different states. I can't wait for april to come o. Sorry for the story jare. May we all carry to term by His grace.

Am just coming back from the hospital and scan scan says I have severe oligohydramnios (prom), that the chances of my baby surviving is limited. Pls I need ur prayers, this can not happen to me.

Nothing wil happen to ur baby, u shall carry to term by His grace, u wil give us your birth story at 9th month.

Good evening Mamas in the house, I trust we are all doing very fine. I just went for a scan at 18weeks today and the sonographer wrote that my uterus is bulky and anteverted. I know 'anteverted' is normal, I just don't understand what bulky uterus means. Does anyone know what this means?. Thanks.
