I hope he puts a structure in place for the disbursement and implementation of the funds for projects in Africa cos there are many useless politicians that would readily steal the funds...
Rapmoney: My candid advice for men who are 35+ is to avoid Genz girls by all means. These category of girls do not actually think the way you think, neither do they see what you see. Their mentality and yours is so wide apart like Africa and Australia. Your plans and vision don't matter to these people. They are only concerned about the present; what they can collect and move ahead with alacrity.
Make you no go use your 7 months salary take sponsor holiday trip for one girl wey go leave you within a twinkling of an eye.
Not all Gen Z cos current Gen Z age is up to 28 years, so are you saying a 28 year old lady isn't ready for marriage? Some of them are already fasting and praying for a serious man sef.
I have seen some 23 year old girls more mature than some 35 year old women, so it's not always by age, but your advice is partially valid.
My own take is that a 35+ guy should focus more on a lady's mental maturity, age could be deceiving.
olawaleatanda: can you highlight about the process I'm interested
If you have a specific question, I'd be glad to answer. Meanwhile you can also go through the thread from the beginning as most questions have been answered.
englishmart: I met this babe last month. I managed to get her number, and we've been in contact since then. I was planning to propose to her next month, but won't dare anymore after this clip from our recent conversation
Where you fumbled was continuing the conversation after she said she wasn't fine... You for just remain silent cos na so dem dey behave when they wan bill man.
I've personally decided not to date any girl who has an entitlement mentality. I don't mind spending, but I'd rather spend on a girl who is hardworking than one who believes she's entitled to my money cos we're dating.
cobby14: I wanted to share something cool I tried recently — I built a fully functional portfolio website in just a few minutes using an AI tool called Lovable.dev. No coding, no templates, just answered a few prompts and it spun up a sleek-looking site tailored to my style.
Chram: That grandpa will never listen to me. He knows I'm mad at him and my mum right now
As I mentioned earlier, being mad isn't the solution. Your mum is probably lonely and she's too young to remain unmarried for the rest of her life...
Your mom has intimate and emotional needs and you won't understand.
Let her try out the new man's house and if God says that's not her position, it will eventually end in a break up, but she's too young to remain lonely...
Chram: Based on reports, my grandfather(mum's dad) is the one mounting pressure on my mum to get married. I'm really worried about the whole situation because the ties between my mum and my siblings are about to be severed. Since my dad died, my mum has been living in her father's house instead of my dad's place. Though both places aren't far from each other. Its trekkable. I feel really hurt and betrayed, I can't even imagine my mum in the arms of another man. If I was stable in monetary and economic terms, I would have taken her out of that dungeon to come live with me, and also bring siblings along. I'm really pained as I type. Tears.. my dad died at age 47.
I wish u guys can beg my mum not to remarry please. What's the difference between me and someone from a Broken background? Life is not fair to me and my siblings. Not fair at all. I know how I'm feeling right now.
Let me make it clear at this point that if her plans of remarrying goes through, I will dis-mother her. I'll cut all ties and destroy every bond that ever existed between herself and us the children.

If your grandpa is the one advising your mother to get married again, don't you think it's because he wants his daughter to be happy again?
How old are you by the way? If you're 21 and above, you shouldn't be insisting on your mother remaining single in her 40s, you don't know the loneliness she's battling and her father might know other things you don't know. 6 years is a long time to mourn someone and I think your mom tried in that regard.
My advice for you is to not judge your mom. Talk to your grandpa and ask why he wants his daughter to get married and learn from his wisdom.
Floxybba66: Please can someone help me out. I dont know how this works, only familiar with study visa. Please help me out.
1st step is recognition of qualification (if you're going through the direct route/ qualified professional route). If your degree is already recognized, you're good to go. You can check Anabin for this. If not recognized, apply to ZAB directly (check previous posts, others have dealt with this).
Step 2: Once you have your evaluation or recognition, you can begin your application on the digital.diplo website.
Offpoint1: Contest and scenario matters a lot... At no point was the blogger a threat that requires ordinary person to pull a stunt torch, talk more of a pastor.
Context matters of course. You were not there and you don't know what happened before the pastor parked to warn him. It's possible the blogger obstructed the road while trying to film, that could even be dangerous to the boy himself.
Is it possible that the guy was just standing on the road side and the pastor just decided to park and warn him? Some of you don't want to reason logically, just because the man involved is a pastor.
biggy00000: I stand corrected, all form of pepper spray/stun gun are considered illegal on Nigeria. If otherwise, there will be the controversy of a spirit filled pastor possessing such while he offers prayer for protection of congregant
The only thing that remains illegal is having a firearm without licence, albeit people can still get a licenced firearm despite the bureaucracy around it.
