The Oil was 8n the Eastern Region and Britain wanted it, hence their support for Nigeria

If Britain had never supported Nigeria, there is no way Nigeria would have won
But Ojukwu was too greedy. He didn't want to share the oil with any one.
Politics › Re: Can Bakassi Peninsula Be Retrieved From Cameroon? by Cyberterror: 12:05pm On Jan 12, 2020
It is too late to take back Bakassi. Obasanjo is a coward who only flaunts his military credentials when he wants to withdraw political support from a sitting Nigerian president who he doesn't like. When Cameroon took over Bakassi, Obasanjo cowardly depopulated the Peninsula and carried Bakassi indigenes to mainland Cross River State where he carved out a new local government area for them from an existing local government. Nigeria was not bound to obey that dubious judgement but Obasanjo who is a CIA asset always longed to please his paymasters.

Any southerner calling for referendum is either naive or pretty dumb! As long as these 'one Nigeria' loving northern oligarchs have the process rigged in their favour, any talk of restructuring in the national assembly (they sneakily argue we should 'go through the proper channel'.....NA) will never get the required number of votes needed to pass it into law!
You are right. Only America can divide Nigeria but these northerners are very smart and they are paying all dues to America (oil & politics) to keep the right to own and control this country.

Whopping N8.5 billion just to resurface a 3KM runway?

Enugu airport runway is the shortest international airport runway in Nigeria, yet it is currently the MOST EXPENSIVE!

What they are currently doing is merely resurfacing of the old runway. They scrape off the old tar and lay a new one. They are not re-doing the concrete base of the runway nor completing the abandoned taxiway! Yet, they will steal N8.5 billion for it!
How much did the 4 KM Abuja airport runway cost?

EFCC will still revisit how N10 billion naira tax-payers money was stolen in the purported Enugu International airport re-branding.
Julius Berger is a very expensive contractor.

In 2010, a Scottish man called Gordon Brown was prime minister of Britain. But that year, the agitation for Scottish independence was at its highest. Scotland was agitating for independence before their son became prime minister, and stepped it up when he became prime minister

Two years later, Britain agreed to give Scotland independence referendum. In 2014, Scotland had its independence referendum

Regardless of who is President, or wants to be president, Igbos have the right to self determination
Convenient for you to use Scotland as example. What about Catalonia? How did that go?

I don't know the right heading for this.
Me and my friend went to recharge our prepaid metre as usual, when we got there, we where told that our card has expired. And that the prepaid metre that was given to us is now obsolete. Our card was ceased and the next dey they came and disconnected our light and said we should pay 39,000 naira for a new prepaid metre in This January. My friend has been staying for days now without electricity, he didn't commit any offence, how will they disconnect the light from the pole when he pays his due and is forced to buy metre with his own money? I want to ask does prepaid metre expire? Are we supposed to pay for prepaid metre with our own money for them to claim right over it?. This issue is now a serious matter, I don't know if it is happening in other states, but it is happening in Enugu. Our government is doing nothing at all, just about 2 days ago some eedc people where beaten mercilessly when they climbed poll to cut some peoples light, I thought the government will give it citizens electricity and we only pay? Why are we now paying for metres that will be mounted by the eedc people on a pole which is now our right..please I don't know what to say but I want this message to go viral. All this must stop, where do the masses get money to buy new metre? Why is the government making things very hard for its people.?

I don’t know about Ihedioha but I can tell you authoritatively that Ganduje is going nowhere. He won a free and fair election. The Supreme Court has in the past upheld the outcome of supplementary election and the case of Kano won’t be different.
Well my gut feeling tells me that both of them will go. Even the Sokoto governor may join them if he isn't vigilant.

Politics › Re: Adebayo Shittu Says APC Without Buhari May Face Difficulty In 2023 by Cyberterror: 8:58am On Jan 09, 2020
Gwilym:
In essence Buhari is the one unifying factor of APC, which is why the party may flounder when he leaves office in 2023.

Unlike PDP, which has tried not to be too dependent on one leader (though Obasanjo is sort of the main guy there for now)...APC's raison 'd etre was the election of Buahri into office. With that gone, the party may limp along for a few more years...may even win in 2023...but would split up after.

Having said that...the PDP used to be targets of predicitons of 'splitting up' as far back as 2005/6. And it did look like it would. I guess the fact that they in the end tried not to let one person dominate the party too much (Obasanjo is IMO, something of a neutral arbiter in the Party)..probably contributed to their surivival...in many ways. Then there is the fact that PDP has its tentacles across the country (unlike APC which is largely a NW/NC/SW party..akin to AkintolaNNDP/Balewa NPC alliance of 1964-6..which is in office because they edged out the PDP in the Middle Belt both times).

In the end , APC would have to find out what it stands for when Buhari is gone from office. Maybe Bakare's comments recently ...that Buhari has to take an active part in choosing his successor...may be advice well taken. Then again, it might entrench the alkready present divisions therein...
Buhari's standing and clout in the north is why APC will still retain power in 2023. However, 2027 will be another matter entirely.

Can the allegations be alluded to Jonathan's refusal to endorse gay rights ?
Leave that thing. Jonathan was an symbol of corruption. That's why no world leader wanted anything to do with him. He institutionalized corruption nationally and he was a global embarrassment. Don't you see how the Bishop of Canterbury is good friends with Buhari even though he is a Muslim? Which world leader was proud to be seen with Jonathan?

Beautiful kids. But are you sure all of them belong to his wife? Rumour has it that he was sleeping with Bianca Ojukwu when her husband was down with stroke. We need to give him a chieftaincy title like we gave Aregbesola because it looks like Osun yorubas love Igbo chieftaincy titles. For Fani Kayode, I propose Dike na utu nwunye mmadu I of Nnewi.
