Fashion / Re: Did You Dress For Comfort ? by cynthya(f): 12:23pm On Aug 22, 2008
Honestly, i ve spotty legs so i wear trousers and long skirts most of the time, and that is how i would define(best) comfortability in my dressing (atleast i dont ve to bare it all to the public, which makes me more comfortable in them), though i go for the ones that give my figure the perfect fitting.

Just how i wish i could turn situations cry cry tongue
Career / Re: List Banks That Their Staff Need To Improve On Their Dress Sense by cynthya(f): 12:11pm On Aug 01, 2008
@ Topic,
Ve you ever been to any Union Bank branch(even their Head Office in Lagos)?
There you will be amazed at their dressing styles, most of the workers still wear "bend down boutique" outdated suits.
Can't ever imagine banking with them (not because of their sytles of dressing ), but specifically because of their archaic banking process.

No wonder someone in this forum addressed them as "Big, Strong, unReliable" grin grin grin

@ Achinu ,pls edit wink

Anuli ph:

yeah. like men tell their wives the truth about all they get up to. Calling women fat and jobless? Dnt you have a mother? If they don't do anything, you d say they re idle.
A lot of these mothers r touching people's lives e.g Eunice Egwu. Jus because it doesnt make front page news doesnt mean otherwise.
Afterall, e easy to be first lady? u fit?
Dont make yourselves believe that these women actually care about what they r called.

True!! Just because some useless polygamous State Governors could not control their families' affairs does not necessitate the idea of scrapping the "First Lady" office in the country.

Family / Re: Will You Allow Male Lession Teacher To Coach Your Female Child At Home Alone? by cynthya(f): 2:43pm On Jun 27, 2008
Dears dis is quite a strong issue that needs to be addressed in our society today. its not only the case of having a private male or female  teacher for one's kids, but goes a long way to the issue of boarding schools(Secondary) in Nigeria.
As for me i attended an all girl's boarding school somewhere in the east and wat our 'supposed' School Principal as well as the Male teachers were sexually doing to the 'naive students(all girls) then will be quite deafenin to the ear should i open my mouth to voice everything out.

Can you believe that my School Principal was virtually sleeping with a quarter of the whole students in my school mostly without their consents? Even collaborating with the School's Medical Doctor to carry out abortions for them not once but consistently(per girl),  wat i found bizarre was the fact that most of these girls whose  age ranges btwn 14 and 18 years never talked about these horrible experiences because he had a way of hushing them up, they were all  dying in silence!

The reason being the kind of parents most of us have, that never allow room for Trust and free communication.

Well my friends and i way back then couldnt do anything about it,never discussed it beyond the walls of our dormitories. When i graduated from that school,I made a promise to myself that none of my siblings, relations infact anyone that i know, would attend that school.
And i will never allow my Kids to attend a Boarding school., NEVER!!!
Though I heard that 'THAT PERVERT' still carry out his  Sodomic Acts in that DAMNED SCHOOL!!

My advise to parents is;
Try and gain the trusts of your kids to enable them have a free communication with you(Be your chid's best friend).
Put the fear of God in your child such that at any point in her life, she will have the Strong-Will to reject bad moral behaviours, even when you are not there with her.
TV/Movies / Re: The Apprentice Africa- A Painfull Ending by cynthya(f): 10:09am On Jun 25, 2008
@ topic, forget about sentiments here,i watched The Apprentice Africa from the first episode to the last, and judging by the skills required by the Producers of the programme for a contestant to be hired as The Apprentice,i believe it was a well-deserved win by the Ghananian -Isaac. He may appear soft and gentle but there deeply lies a calculative,an articulate, intelligent and a good manager, who has a sense of direction and good judgement.  Infact he has an undisputable good leadership qualities, good listening skills,a self starter, very considerate of others, unlike 'our own' Eunice, with her 'i too know' attitude and never sensitive to other contestants needs all the while she was a Project manager, though i must say that she was really awesome,i admired her aggressive and fighting spirit but being hired as an Apprentice takes a whole lot far from that.
I really enjoyed the programme,it was very decent and educative unlike 'The Big Brother Africa'.

BIG UPS to Bank PHB!!!

Hi people,
i truly enjoyed GUS 1V,it was quite interesting especially with guys like Dominic,Dozie and the last girl standing(cant remember her name(is it Rodhalyn?), and the rest.
Though the only guy i didnt like was the third guy that was evicted (whats his name?), with his i know it all attitude. That guy really pissed me off.
Romance / Re: Men Who Are Likely To Cheat In Marriage by cynthya(f): 10:27am On Jun 17, 2008
@ michelin89
Like i said earlier, i know that some people are going to criticize the story about my uncle, but be rest assured that my "neva been found" phrase means that i am 100% sure though i dont stalk him but i am a pragmatist,i like being realistic in my general approach to life issues,to me 'seeing is believing',i do not care about the unseen so far the person in question is not found wanting in anyway.

So thats that, everyone with their different perceptions
Romance / Re: Men Who Are Likely To Cheat In Marriage by cynthya(f): 3:12pm On Jun 16, 2008
i do not quite agree with the general response so far on this issue. Cheating in a marriage relationship is a thing of the mindset. The fact that someone had been in different relationships wouldnt stop him from cheatin in marriage no matter his 'variety' of experience. I can tell you that i have a very young well to do uncle who's been married to his first love for quite a decade and yet has neva been found cheatin on his wife, though i know that most people will be biased on this my 'uncle theory',bt dat is just the fact.

My own perception on this topic is that cheating in any relationship is just a thing of the mindset,a person's variety of single relationship experiences though may help in preventing future mistakes(depending on the kind of person, becos some people keep making the same mistakes), but can never be a tool in curbing 'cheating' .

Any other person may have a different view.
