jimcaddy: So many people come to Nairaland to talk trash.. First of all, what does Nigerian politics have to do with religion?
Name anybody who hasn't criticized the ills of our society just for one form of selfish interest.
Pastor Adeboye prays for the country.. It is because of the prayers by him and many other true men of God that Nigeria is still standing strong today..
Do you know how many times he asks us to pray for Nigeria each time we go for Holy Ghost Nights?
People should be objective when talking, not putting personal sentiments, or having a biased mind when talking.
Whether anyone likes it or not, Pastor Adeboye is unarguably one of the most revered and respected men of God in Nigeria.
Your damn prayers has been causing us a lot of troubles pls kindly stop praying for Nigeria coz nigeria can't just continue as one nation forever.

Religion *christianity or islam* is nothing but a big fraud.

I really thank Jah i don't belong to any of these open cults.
Islam › Re: Can A Muslim Join the Freemasons Without Losing His Faith? by cyril83(m):
Two different things

It is all based on what you want in your life. Freemasonry can be a great organization if you are looking for good men to associate with and ways to help your community become a better place. If you want the "fast track" to political power, Freemasonry is not what many people think it is--it is NOT a religion (and certainly not Satanic). In the United States alone, Masons donate more than $1 million a day to charity.

Religion *muslim or christian* is nothing but a fraud. None of these religion would ever render any financial assistance to you or charity in times of trouble, they only take but never give.

Guideway: i love u bro and am very sure u're a Doctor.. Which ever thanks for explaining well i so much appreciate your great work...
But... please... One more..!,u said '' Hernia can grow over time'' how?... What regions can hernia be found in a body?... How can one actually know dat it's Hernia?... Pls don't be annoyed for my long questions... I don't want problem because of military Job...God bless u Bro
Hernias can happen anywhere in your body, but most occur in the abdomen between the rib cage and the groin.

symptoms of a hernia can range from noticing a painless lump to the severely painful, tender, swollen protrusion of tissue that you are unable to push back into the abdomen.

Bruv! No shaking @ll do as many push ups as you can but don't just rush them for you not to get hurt, hernia don't just happen like that coz there different types of hernia and the one you could develop through exercises is epigastric/groin hernias. Do your exercises and don't work yourself out. See ya @ d 1st camp.

For those who believe in almighty God and those that have solid connections, i heard from the souce that dssc shortlisting began yesterday and ssc begins 2moro, shortlist stuff has nothing to do with your profile or uploaded certificates except for some medical, music and chaplain applicants,it has to do with luck and connections. So children of God should keep reminding God while generals children should also start calling their ogas.

Modern Nigerian military is full of enjoyment and power so let's rock it 2geda.

Guideway: Well... These exercises are good for this serious Job.... Pls! Brothers how can all these exercise be safely done to avoid Hernia...
One thing is Hard exercise another thing is the side effect.... So pls teach me how to push/press up or pull up (whatever they calls it) without causing harm to the body( e.g. Hernia).... Thanks and God bless as u throw light to this...
Doing too many pushups can actually do more harm than good. The key to building muscle is getting adequate rest between workouts; this is the time when your muscles actually get bigger. Without enough rest between each pushup workout, your muscles constantly are getting broken down and are not allowed any time to rebuild and recover. That said, using pushups on a consistent basis with adequate rest in between sessions is an effective way to strengthen your chest, abs, shoulder and tricep muscles.

Resting for one day between workouts is generally recognized as adequate for most people. However, beginners may need two or three days of rest between workouts. If your chest and/or arm muscles are sore from a previous workout, you may want to take an additional day of rest to ensure your muscle tissue repairs itself correctly between workouts. I suggest eating a healthy diet rich in protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats to ensure speedy recovery times.

Let's always keep this in mind, coz hernia is very bad and once you have discovered it, it is important to see a doctor for a medical evaluation. Keep in mind, hernias do not get better over time or go away on their own. In fact, they usually grow larger and get worse

bluebarz: It is very possible because I have been doing same though mine has been 3.3km in 17mins and around that range while I do 4km in 20mins. Its not just mere jogging, its race and its got a breath control tactic that has to be employed in order to achieve the set goal. Using a sports tracker application like edomonodo will help you track your speed, distance, laps and future progress. I wish to see you all in makurdi alongside myself.
bro i never said it is not possible to cover 3.2km by running but it is so impossible to cover it by jogging, guyz who had fully prepared themselves for the race made the 3.2km in just 12 to 13mins while we were even struggling to just get to the gate.

Don't made mistake others made by underrating it, build up yourself this is military job, fitness is what they need and as for me, am damn ready for anything now.

Broda, so you don't know? Imagine someone who has never done any push or sit up in this kind of race, definately something terrible may happen to such person. If you really want to be fit for this race you have to work on your tommy.

You called it jogging, pls don't just underrate this stage coz i also underrated it last year and i had to pull over when i couldn't control the situation again and so many people also did. Let us all work on our tommy, our tommy have to be very strong for this race coz it has a lot to do with breathing, we should also go for different exercises to increase our chances.

Sail On

Gideon360: Bro, I dont think anybody can make it with only running. U can combine it o. I even made it this morning wt only jogging (3.2km in 16minute) after I had ran for about 1.8km unmeasured & untimed.
Bro u can make it with jogging o. Don't injure or kill urself by thinking u will run for 3.2km unrest, be warned.
Av u practice to run for just 2minute b4? U cant do it. Ua bless. God will help us.
I depend absolutely on God.
I Did not give my name to anybody, but I had given it to the General of the General of the whole General of the heaven and Earth. He can never fail me.
smile! Did you mean you covered almost 2miles in 16mins by mere jogging? ..it is easier said than done, bro there is difference btw jogging and endurance race. Jogging is a form of trotting or running at a slow or leisurely pace. The main intention is to increase physical fitness with less stress on the body than from faster running, or to maintain a steady speed for longer periods of time While Endurance races can be run either to cover a set distance in laps as quickly as possible, or to cover as much distance as possible over a preset amount of time.if truly u covered 3.2km in 16mins that's certainly not jogging but running.

Don't be deceived bro, this stage is the toughest stage in camp, last year 6 pple died during d race and 2 afta d race and almost half couldn't make it to the gate.

emmanuel4fire: For those who went last year, are we going to run all together or it's going to be individual race or state by state.
it's a group thang.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Nigerian Army DSSC And SCC 2013 Recruitment Is Out! by cyril83(m):
idris4r83: 4 sure is jogging cos even usain bolt can't maintain a running speed of 3.2km. What they want is just 2 overcome dat distance in just 18minutes no matter how be it jogging, running, walking, crawling any way.
bruv! The race is very far from jogging,it's an endurance race which every pains must be endured until you get to d gate at d given time,if you are unable to meet up with the time, you will be locked outside d gate which means you are out.

If you really want to meet up with the time, you better make it running and jogging, this will also give you more strength and you will be free from any injuries.

bigboyo: ...guys let's be realistic, this 3.2km thing has to be jogging cos i can't imagine running 3.2km without breaking it down into jogging after 3mins...just think about it, your strength diminishes when you don't slow down and at the end of the day you get over exhausted and can't further the race again, trust me i have tried it...perhaps maybe ain't strong enough. GOD help us all...
bruv! That's why you see casualties during and after d endurance race, people must die. It's not a child's play, there's no how you could cover 3.2km in 18min by jogging, they call it endurance race. This is a military job and you must be very strong before getting it.
