I really wish people will get things straight into in there head.

1. that a someone somewhere predicted happenings correctly does not validate if he or she is a prophet of God or not. Babalawos make predictions and it happens as it is said.

2. that a prophecy or prediction (as you might want to call it) does not come to pass, does not make the person who    made the prophecy fake.

3. As for generosity, you can judge for yourself. The DEVIL IS EQUALLY A GIVER, lol(sounds stupid but its the truth)

Our generation look for signs to confirm what they want to believe and the devil does not waste time in giving them one.

I pray Ghanaians will mind the path they to cos whatever they sow they'll reap even as a nation. I pray the best for them.

What i said and i still stand by it is that that first picture have two issues which i did not believe.
@Presido, two pictures where presented as evidence, so please base your argument on the two pictures. Obviously there must have been some kind of artificial light effect outside room. If you don't believe this, a site visit might do you some good.

Mind you am not in support of anybody as i have lost hope in Nigeria from primary school kids to Yaradua all are the same. I have met many of them politicians and those aspiring for position they all have the same mentality(loot loot loot).
I have a feeling you are not a Nigerian. If you are you can't be talking about loosing hope in everyone in the country because it will imply you don't even have hope in yourself.
Nevertheless, I want you to know that we are aware of the magnitude of corruption and insensitivity in our country. But we'll never give up on it. You can give up on us but we'll never give up on ourselves.

If peradventure you are a Nigerian, I will say buckle your belt, Just lay low and watch what is about to happen

If you are honest with yourself, you'll base your argument on the two pictures and not just on one. Am grateful you noted Tsiya's response, but not seeing anything in the second picture will raise question about your sincerity.

From the second pics am sure you may have observed that it could have been about any time from 6pm
BusinessRe: Your Experience With Some so Called Fund/portfolio Managers by cyriluzo(op): 9:25am On Sep 18, 2009
I supposed this organization is an expert in what they say they do(Fund and Portfolio Managers) and so don't have to tell them what to do with the money I invest with them. Besides, I was given a guarantee of a certain percentage as yield on my fund. To imagine that they were going to be buying stocks on my behalf and the stock is not even in my name is just unbelievable.

For now I don't want to mention their name. Am just hoping that I can at least get my principal back. If I don't, I will gladly mention there name
BusinessYour Experience With Some so Called Fund/portfolio Managers by cyriluzo(op): 1:34pm On Sep 16, 2009
Hello All,

Please I want to know if am the only one going through this pain inflicted on me by so called portfolio managers.

I was introduced to this fund managers by a friend in mid 2008 as a very good fund and portfolio managers. At that time I had this little money I didn't immediately need but wanted it for a project in August 2009. All I was told then was that I can liquidate the investment after a year with a guaranteed interest rate of 20%. I had the option of buying stocks at that time but I didn't because I only buy stocks for long term.

Last month I went to check my investment with the intention of liquidating it a week later. The receptionist I met and told my mission asked me to sit down. After she asked for my names, she printed out a statement and give me to go through.

I went through it and couldn't believe what I saw. They had used my money to buy STOCK. I have lost over 50% of my fund.  shocked

They didn't tell me they were into buying and selling of stocks. huh If they did I would have told them I have a stock broker and so didn't need there services. I honestly thought they were investing in real estates or at least real estates and stock market to achieve some balance.

I say,  it depends on the situation.

If it is mutual breakup then return it to him unless he asks that you keep it( for respect)

If i broke up with him then i return it since i no longer require his love and broke his poor heart anyways.

if he brokes up with me( God Forbids!. lol) i will cut all contacts and that means no ring.( This is in context of us not loving together already) even if we live together, will tell him am selling the ring,  wetin he wan do? Na Judge Judy go settle the case if he shamelessly wants it by force. grin
I agree completely with decomb.
like someone rightly stated. the ring was given on the premises of acceptance of marriage proposal and it serves as a seal to that agreement. If the lady decides she no longer wants to go on, then she has to return the ring, and that's a sign to the guy that the lady is no longer interested and the marriage proposal is no longer binding on her.

However, if the guy is the one that called off the relationship, I think the lady can use her discretion(whteva she decides to do with the ring is her's).

If the breakup is mutual, then whoever wants it should have it. If both of them want it, then NOBODY should have it

Just like u are entitled to ur opinion, so am I.

It beats me that u completely ignore the underlying issue of the post in question. It is about Igbo perceived self of importance within the Nigerian equation. . . . .that continues to make biafra a dream agenda, and ojukwu a demi-god.[/quote]Now you are beginning to get it right. What you did initially was to generalise and that certainly wasn't healthy. I personally recent the Biafra Idea and most igbos do. The trauma of the war is still fresh in alot of people's mind and even Ojukwu will not be thinking of Biafra anymore.

@poster, Ojukwus's were about does not bug me, neither does it bother 90% of the igbos I know. The idea of biafra does not appeal to me nor does it appeal to 80% of the igbos I know.
Nevertheless, we must learn to place history were it belong. It belongs to the past and its only purpose is to help us prevent bad occurances from happening again.

Ojukwu for me is in thesame class as most of our past leaders. Ojukwu went to war to rule the east, Gowon went to war to rule or maintain the Nigeria entity. Babangida killed to remain in power, so did Obasanjo. Its a commom trait among African leaders. If you recent Ojukwu, you should also recent Usman Dan Fodio who killed innocent peole because of religion, and today he is celebrated in our history books and a great jidadist.

To be honest, Am seeing this lines for the first time though I have heard it being sang once or twice. Reading these lines almost brought tears to my eyes. the following lines especially. Please read them again:

1. Though tribe and tongue may differ,
In brotherhood we stand

2. Our flag shall be a symbol
That truth and justice reign,

3. To hand on to our children
A banner without stain.

4. O God of all creation,
Grant this our one request,
Help us to build a nation
Where no man is oppressed

For God's Sake, Can we have this anthem BACK?

I think our leaders have failed to realize that a nations anthem is almost like its Vision and Mission statement.

Please can we get rid of these ogboni drum beat called "arise oh compatriots" anthem

Some of you dont seem to know the kind of causes you attract on yourself when you speak against some people, Pastors are human and are prone to mistake, But be careful how you cast stone on them(i.e if you most cast stone).

I cannot justify any man but what i'll advice everyone to do is to fold you hands and watch as the truth unfolds. Wonder how many of you hav seen the news below aswell

TRUTH REVEALED!

Greetings in the name of our loving Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ!

First of all, we would like to thank all those who have been supportive of Pastor Sunday Adelaja with regards to the false allegations made against him and the defamation of his character.

There have been some prominent pastors who started making false accusations against Pastor Sunday Adelaja and his supposed involvement with the investment company, King’s Capital. However, these charges have been groundless from the start, and soon after the downfall of the company the founders of King’s Capital released an official statement saying:

"Also we declare that rumors about any relation to "Kings Capital", Pastor Sunday Adelaja and Kiev mayor, Leonid Chernovetsky, are not true. Neither Pastor Sunday nor Mr. Chernovetsky, nor anyone else, (except for the founders and directors of the business), have had direct or indirect participation in the managing or activity of the business. They have never received any income of material, or non-material values from the business".

Please find the complete official statement at: http://www.godembassy.org/en/news/news_publ.php?showdetail=3727

One of the prominent pastors, Pastor Rick Renner (Good News Church) - who was the first to start making these empty claims - has also been the first to apologize. This proves that God is faithful to vindicate and justify the righteous.

"I am very sorry if my words offended members of the Embassy of God Church", says Rick Renner. "Believe me: I did not have such intentions and purposes. We like the Embassy of God Church, and its investments in the establishing of the Kingdom of God in Kiev deserve respect. The role of this church in the city life is very valuable and we pray for its confident future."

Pastor Rick Renner continues: "I have known Pastor Sunday for more than one year and love and respect him. I would like him and the members of his church to know that we pray for them. We also pray that the church would go through the difficult times as soon as possible. I ask God to cover us with His mercy and always hope that God will reveal His mercy and extend His cover upon over lives. There is none perfect among us - we all make mistakes. I want to close with these words, that God’s mercy may overcome any difficulties, recover and heal us. The blood of Jesus is covering everything which I am really thankful to God for".

Pastor Rick Renner is also planning to apologize in person to Pastor Sunday for his false accusations against him and the Embassy of God church.

Without cross checking the facts many harmful things have been splurged across newspapers, television, radio, magazines and the internet. How will these media houses respond now that the truth has started coming to the forefront? Will they have the integrity to make an apology of the same magnitude and publicity? Will they begin publicizing the true information?

We do not fear, because God is in control. The Bible says, "He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision." - Psalm 2:4

He is our Justifier!

Pastor Sunday has also made a public response to the charges from some of the bishops of Ukraine.

"From my side I gave a complete explanation and presented full reasoning for every question. I feel it is unfair to give only one-sided information about that meeting without my answers", said Pastor Sunday.

Please find the full article at: http://www.godembassy.org/en/news/news_publ.php?showdetail=3726

Thank you for your prayers, and please continue praying so that God will totally vindicate Pastor Sunday Adelaja and furthermore lead the church to a new level of influence.

May God’s name be lifted high and may He grant you the desires of your heart in 2009!

Am afraid that the youth that are supposed to be the engine room for change in Nigeria is incapable of identifying what will work for the good of the country.

Am glad the IG is thinking in the right direction towards crime reduction in Nigeria. India has the largest population after China, yet you don't see hawkers selling sim Cards on the street. Every sim owner is identified.

That Nigeria started in the wrong direction does not mean we should continue in that wrong direction. We have got to retrace our steps and I do know that registering every sim owner by whatever means is the right thing to do. Agreed some structures are probably not in place at the moment, but instead of castigating a good idea because its coming from someone we probably dont like, we should suggest ways to create a good structure that will make this good idea work.

Please lets forget about the who brought the idea and look at the content of the idea. It will go a long way in changing things in Nigeria

Ladies and gentlemen, keep your THING for your husband/wife . For the ladies, who ever you open your legs to before marriage will always see you as cheap.
