PoliticsRe: What Will You Say Is Nigeria's Problem by cyriluzo(op): 8:46am On Feb 04, 2009
@Kobojunkie
We Nigerians are the only problem in that country. Those you label bad leaders happen to come from our midst, if you have not thought of that. They were raised by Nigerian mothers and fathers and went to Nigerian schools and hung out in Nigerian societies before they were employed by the Nigerian people to lead and so what they bring out speaks of what we have in our societies and have so far not been willing to deal with. Why do you speak of them as if they are aliens, and not of us?
I honestly agree with Kobojunkie on this."As the people As the Leader" the leader came from among the people not from the blues. How do you expect someone who throws his pure water nylon on the street to make a good leader? How do you expect someone who bribes his way to school make a good leader? How do you expect a police officer who collects N50 from innocent or guilty danfo drivers make a good IG? How do we expect a Nigerian who is not patient enough to stop his car by a Zebra crossing to let kids cross the road make a good leader? There is so much wrong with Nigerians and I do think re-orientation of our mindset will do a lot good.

Hello House, there is a general notion that once a problem is identified, resolving that problem is the next easy logical step with the problem identified.

My question is What really do we Nigerians feel is the problem of the country. Some will say leadership, others will say our diversity is the problem. Still others say it is Oil that is our problem while some will say its colonialism. I do have a pretty different opinion- The people, thats what i feel is the problem of this country. What do you think?

SportsRe: AYC: Nigeria(3) Vs Cote D'Ivoire(0) On Sunday 25th January by cyriluzo(m): 7:48am On Jan 26, 2009
The way those guys played ysterday leaves me with nothing to desire from them. There was no coordination at all. The midfield was dead. The goal keeper was the only good thing I saw in the team. The ref killed the moral of the Ivoriens and that gave nigeria 2 more goals.

If Nigeria continues to play this way, am pretty sure dey'll be a disgrace to Africa in the World cup

Nairaland GeneralRe: Nairaland Census: Your State by cyriluzo(m): 10:08am On Jan 02, 2009
Talk about how difficult it is to lead Nigerians, Dis is jus a typical example.

Seun simply asked for where you live or work(this certainly will be thesame as where you are browsing from).

If you stay in the US or UK, the option is there for "abroad". If seun thinks being specific with where exactly in Abroad you stay, he would have specified that, or maybe he can think of it in future.

For now I think you should either give him what he wants or ignore. At most, just give your suggestion and let the man determine what he wants. If you live in Mars like bigmodo, you can simply say others(its a suggestion).
PoliticsRe: Jos Killings How Do We Stop This Madness? by cyriluzo(m): 1:52pm On Dec 02, 2008
JosBoy4Lif:
Yes That can happen. But it did not happen in this instant. The Hausa muslims in Jos North will always support an ANPP candidate.
Where did you get the notion that the Hausa Muslims are more in number in Jos North?. I was born in Jos and I grew all my life in Jos - from my primary to my university level and can confidently tell you that there is no truth in that statement. These people are only concentrated in a small part of the local government-  Angwan Rogo, Some part of Nasarawa, Angwan Rimi, Some part of Alikazure, some part of Gangere and a few others.  You know why the king of Jos is called the Gbom Gwom Jos?

Please dont try to lay claims here. What you should be talking of is how this kind of situation can be averted in future. Unfortunately its the main indigenes that suffer the consequences of this riots. The hausas can always go back to there home town, the igbos and yorubas aswell but not for this people.

And please no one should talk of One Nigeria until I can go to Kano and live without the fear of being killed because I mentioned Mohammed or touched a book called Koran. Mind you this is what usually cause a revenge mission in the south.

@fayasoul
If your bath properly with the right method you wouldn't need deodorant/perf. Deodorant/perf conceals body odour, it's detrimental to your skin cells and it's toxic. Items like deodorant and mouth wash make people dependant on them and unable to take the time to bath and brush thoroughly. You also will find that the day you don't use this deodorants/perfs your body odour will be intensified.

But of course to the warped mind of a modern human it's part of what being civilized is all about.

christmas goat.
Now ur intents are clear,

Perfs are bad
Hair conditioners are bad
Hair cream is bad
Body Lotion is Bad(this included vaseline)
Body Spray is bad

House pls just complete the list.

@fayasoul, pls should we also stop cooking our meals?, i think nairalanders should be forced to eat their food raw because cooking them destroys the nutrients and it makes it "unnatural".

So please nairalanders, jus go around the place with no perf nor deodorant(na so fayasoul talk). Dont mind if you hav body odour or not. Jus go around smelly. lol

All hail fayasoul, U r the new liberator of our age. lol

Cheers!!!

Bros its not about being natural or not being natural. If being natural makes a lady beautiful fine!, if the lady thinks  using weaves and perms makes her more beautiful than being natural, then please let the lady be.

What I believe nairalanders hate is someone wanting to hang everyone who does not accept there philosophy

Ewu.
lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

I don't blame you. Nigerian males were raised in surrroundings full of weave wearing perm loving self hating sistas.
You obviously have problem with urself. Its people like you that will want to kill others simply because dey dont look like them or because they dont accept their philosophy.

Your case is one of abnormal normality; that is, this abnormality is so common in your society that's why you think it's normal. You just don't know any better.
Your case is obvious anger against modernization and advancement. I have seen people who keep there hair natural and it looks good on them, i have seen others who it does not fit in anyway. From the pictures u are attaching and calling self-haters because of thier hairdo, I can certainly say your trousers most be hanging on ur ankle. Am sure you dont wear deodorants not perfs.

You share the same psychological malady of which you are completely unaware of. I pity you.
Am sure you dont knw what "psychological malady" is. U simply have just described yourself and your co-s

I jus pray u recover fast

Things can work well in Nigeria if worked at. This Ban is not an exemption. This is not the First time am hearing of a Ban on the use of Siren. Enforcemement has always been the issue. You dont make a pronouncement or Law and just go to sleep and expect that will work. There is no country on planet earth pronouncements or Law just works without Enforcement.

I was employed on the 12th of february 2008 at starcomms office at 62 new market road onitsha. on that day we were like seven graduates. They told us that we would have to work for the first two weeks on commission i.e #1000 for each phone we sell be it lsp 4000 which is an ordinary table phone or lsp 3510 which is internet enabled. They said they would tell us how much the company would be paying us come 25th of february. I have really markerted the products well that i have sold up to 4 and it was not easy. A week later,on the 3rd of march i was forced to ask tham about the salary structure since they failed to raise the topic. I was told that for now nothing has been said. The guy was bold enough to say "she u have been collecting your commission" What do i do? does anyone out there have this experience?

I wonder why the govt should allow these peole to rip off the little jobless graduates have. why is it that rich and selfish nigerians like taking advantage of the less privileged and the poor in one way or the other. Their children are not jobless, they already have jobs waiting for them before they graduate. I DON'T BLAME THEM. Please lets ignore them.

Men and Brethren,

My challange with a lot of us here is how we draw to conclusions just by reading newspapers, or by what we hear people say(dem Say dem say). Having read the thread I see a lot of people are still holding on to even views that have been confirmed untrue. Worse still they make conclusions based on those views.

Pastor B is my Man( I dont attend latterrain Assembly anyway). I didnt hear him preach this message PM news is throwing about. But one thing I know is that if some of you will take time to listen to the message, you will realise PM news didnt give you the correct story.

For those of you who throw your mouth without constrain at Men of God. I PITY YOUR LIFE OH!

Please do not take side in a battle you know nothing about. This has been my principle. Heard it from Pastor B himself
