Tecno phones aren't the only phones in the market. There are better options everywhere. As for the NCC, those ones that can't even regulate telecommunications companies in Naija na them you want to regulate the standard of phones coming into the country? Lol.

If Transsion stops installing bloatware on their phones I might start regarding them. Their low spec phones becomes worse when apps from hell gets installed on your device without you knowing about it. One of my customers bought a tecno whatever after two weeks came back and complained of lag, lo and behold extra 20 apps have appeared magically on the phone and the app drawer was alive with all sorts of ads and recommended bullcrap. Made me wanna throw up. I got to unistalling and replacing the launcher with a stock android one then the phone was delivered. My brother get a phone running ad free softwares and enjoy peace of mind. If you know you know.

You might want to consider getting a used phone. That amount is too small for a new phone.

Even the tecno you guys use here is different from the ones made for the Indian market. The day you will touch one of those made for Indians you will believe say transsion dey knack una 2 by 4 on a daily. I was opportuned to handle a Camon i7 from India and then and there I concluded that Nigeria is truly a dumping ground. I am a gsm technician and when I see a solid phone I know. The double standard is glaringly obvious. Samsung does that too but it takes an experienced eye to tell the difference between made for US and made for Africa.

Tecno release android patches and call it updates. The only transsion devices that receive Android version updates are those running on Android one software not hios or xos. Sometimes they make a new board to upgrade a particular model eg. is in case of note 3 which came with android 6 but we later started seeing android 7 note 3. If you flash that android 7 firmware onto the one running 6 you end up with a fat brick showing that the two boards are not the same. Some that boot the android 7 end up loosing baseband. Transsion sucks.

Bro just try and pay up. This country is hard. I don't try to make it harder for myself by taking any type of loan. Cut your coat and save for rainy days.

That is called FRP(Factory Reset Protection) similar to Activation lock on ios. It can be removed by following some easy steps on YouTube which exploits some loopholes in setup app of android phones.

Redmi note 10 can't be compared to s10. The difference is too much. Flagship vs midrange.

All the battery in the world can't make me choose a tecno over a samsung phone. Battery is even the last thing I check when buying a phone. Once it can last a day am good.

Uninstall all your vpn apps

In my opinion, A series doesn't have that premium samsung feel. S & Note series are the best. I always feel that A series are inferior.
