Lol. Different strokes. SMH. Na guys wey dey repair business dey see these atrocities called low end phones first hand. Na us them dey run to when shit starts to get real on their palasa. Most of those people using those phones can comfortably buy a used midrange phone, heck even new ones because that's what they go for after getting enlightened. Problem is that most don't know better and end up buying nonsense after being sweet talked into it by lying salesmen or in a bid to save money. I repeat, no one should be using those things unless they are educated enough to know it's limits. If you know the level of tech illiteracy wey dey naija, you go rethink that comment. People are getting ripped off on a daily.

Pop series dey get "pro" too? Lol. Manufacturers are their deceptive naming. Anyone wey hear that pro now go think say na better device not knowing it is utter garbage. Anytime I see someone using itel or tecno pop I just dey pity them because they haven't started using smartphone.

I don't download firmware for it. I use software tools to reset the phone.

Most vivo phones doesn't permit factory reset if you don't know the password. Take it to a capable gsm software technician near you if that's the case. Mind you it can be expensive.

No one box is enough. Know the phones that normally come for repairs in your area and buy accordingly. If na mostly Chinese phones, get infinity cm2 and umt.

All those options you excluded are actually what 120k is gonna get you unless you can go for used phones. Up your budget if you want something better.

All of una shouting take it to carlcare live in a bubble. If carlcare is not in the vicinity, people generally don't entertain the idea of visiting them for repairs. People also like wait and take repairs which calcare don't offer. For example, the nearest carlcare to me is a 1hour drive while there are many local repair shops in my area. Now if I have an issue with my transsion palasa, where do you think I'll visit first? I am a gsm software technician by the way so we normally see bad transsion devices on a daily.

True. An old 2019 flagship is better than a current midrange phone. Snapdragon 855 doesn't joke around. Later some people with current midrange phones will be comparing with older flagship based on same ram and storage sizes not knowing that there's a difference between storage types and speeds. What makes a flagship is bleeding edge tech with superb build quality and materials. Ufs 3.1 vs emmc, you sef check am. I get annoyed when novices compare their transsion palasa with high end flagships from apple, samung, lg etc saying "no be the same 128gb/8gb or 6gb ram".
