The chances of PDP winning the presidential election come 2019 is very low, except Buhari's tenure turns out to be a failure(which is unlikely) so even if they zone it to the North, they are bound to loose.
But whichever ways, the build up to 2019 will be interesting as a lot of loosers from the North will decamp to the PDP with the hope of winning the party's ticket. Atiku, how market?

I continued from where I stopped. It is obvious that Chapter 17 will be a combination of THE PAST and the PRESENT.
From the past we get to know how Mark's sister got missing the night Grace ran away with him. And from the present we continue as usual.

After he has been given an all clear, Daniel Martins finally drove into the compound with the hope of finding his son alive. He quickly alighted and ran towards the police boss.
"How far?" He asked.
The police officer turned to face him with a suprised look. "You shouldn't be here." he said.
"I asked as question Mr man. And I demand an answer." Daniel shouted.
"Calm down, Mr Daniel. Your safety is very important to me in particular." The police man replied politely. But seeing that his approach is not going down well with the businessman, he changed approach.
"For now your son is no where in sight. The supposed kidnappers are not either, but we saw a dead body in one of the rooms, and from all indications, the gunshot we hear the other time resulted in the dead body we found. If that is the case, then the kidnappers should still be around the vicinity." He explained.
"What about my son?" Daniel asked fearfully.
"e be like sey you are deaf. Haven't I been speaking in English since?" The officer thought.
"Finding your son lies with finding the kidnappers. Just stand back and let us do our job."
---------------
After spending fifteen minutes in the room with no one in sight, except the blaring sound of the police van siren, Mayor jumped down as silent as he could and then proceeded into the inner rooms in the warehouse. He was hopeful that Christopher would still be in the room as it will be unprofessional of Biggie to at the same time try to save himself and still hold the boy hostage.
-----------
Daniel stood impatiently beside the police boss as he instructed his boys with displayed images on a flatscreen. Judging from the way and manner with which everyone paid attention, he concluded that it has to be related to the house inside whose compound they were.
"Sir." One of the police officers called their boss' attention while pointing to the entrance of the house.
Everyone turned towards the direction which the officer pointed.
Daniel followed everybody's gaze and as if in a movie, Chris walked side by side with a young man he would recognize anywhere, and a suprise followed from behind. He had to rub his eyes with the back of his hands to ascertain if he was dreaming or not. There stood his wife all smiles.
He calmly walked towards them.
"Chris, are you okay?" He asked.
"Yes dad." for the first time in his life, he felt like a real dad. He opened his arms and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you very much sweety." He hugged his wife too, and for the first time he felt he has a family.
"He found us and rescued us." Chris said pointing to Mayor who was being held by the police.
Daniel shook hands with him warmly with a smile, even though Mayor didn't return the gesture, he still appreciated his help at rescuing his son.
A question on his mind was how his wife came to be in the same place with Chris.
"Where is my mum?" Chris asked, disappointment evident in his looks.
"She sent me." Mayor replied.

Mayor stared at his blood soaked left hand in horror. He had during his fight with his opponents removed a gun and due to the close proximity between the hand which held the gun and his opponents tummy, he has pulled the trigger, the bullet penetrating harder than ever, and the resulting blood splash hit his hand.
He stared at the lifeless body lying in front of him, and for the first time, he regretted pulling the trigger. He looked round the room, but couldn't find his second opponent, he knew at once that he had gone to seek help and probably return with reinforcements, and as it stands, he is outnumbered with a very large difference, such that it won't take them five minutes to finish him off.
He immediately tasked his mind into finding and easy escape route for him, and being a formost member of the gang, he knew every ins and outs of the warehouse.
From his standpoint, there were only three exits, or better referred to as safety exits. The first being the enterance door, the second being the window and the last being the roof.
He considered his chances with the three exits and quickly analysed the pros and cons. Exiting through the window will land him outside the warehouse, but still within the compound, and he will need to access the high walls or unlock the gate to gain freedom. Making use of the door is simillar to making use of the window, because opening the entrance door leads him into the compound, and he had the option of accessing the gate or the high walls. The last option seemed temporary, because it is not a means of escape, but mere temporarily going into hiding. Which is to climb into the roof and stay there until he is no longer hunted.
He immediately made for the window, using it as a step, he was able to remove one of the celling slabs and in a swift movement, he disappeared into the roof.
------------
Biggie stared from Majid to Adeola to Christopher with a questioning look, but non of them could tell him where the gunshot came from or who was responsible. Just then another of his men barged into the room.
"Baba! The cops are here." He panted.
Biggie could feel his heart in his mouth. "What cops?" He asked.
"The police."
"Inside the building?" He asked.
"No...." the guy was explaining, but was cut short.
"come on, shut up. You are confused. Gather everyone else in the building, we are shifting base." Biggie instructed. And in five seconds, he was out of the room.
To say Adeola was shocked is an understatement, because never in her life has she heard of an assassin's group running away at the mention of the police. But with the reform the police force underwent in the last few months, the fear of the Men in Black is the begining of wisdom.
"Don't make a sound, okay? The police will be here soon." Adeola said to Chris who still held on tightly.

By the time the vehicle came to a halt, Adeola was wide awake. The events of the previous hours came playing in her mind. How she arrived at the eatery twenty minutes ahead of the time she agreed with Biggie. And exactly thirty minutes from the time she arrived, which translates to ten minutes after the time agreed, one of the waiters came to call her, and roughly one minute later, she was led into the enclosed parking lot where she saw Biggie and a couple Of his men, which was the last thing she remembered. And here she was at the back of a vehicle in an unknown destination.
She could hear a sound of dangling keys. Alas, she was about to be let out of the darkness.
Suddenly, light rushed into the van that she had to cover her eyes with her palm.
"Come down here." A voice commanded.
She immediately picked herself up and climbed down from the back of the vehicle where she saw the set of men she saw before she was abducted.
"Welcome ma'am." Biggie greeted.
"Please, let me go." She pleaded.
The men bursted into laughter. "But you just came. You will go when we want you to." Biggie replied.
Adeola quickly went down on her knees. "I will pay you any amount. Just name it." She cried.
"Calm down madam. We are not kid napping you, neither are we going to hurt you. You gave us a job which we have done and the last phase is up to you." Biggie replied. "Mark my words. If after twenty minutes you are not driven out of here, I will give you a full refund of your money."
Adeola lazily dragged herself up. She believed him, after all, the time they have spent talking, he seemed straightforward and honest.
"But terms and conditions apply." He said.
"Anything, I am ready to do." She replied.
"Don't be so sure ma'am." Biggie laughed. "The first thing is the reason we brought you here. You gave us a job to kidnap a boy and execute him, and just like I told you on phone the boy is inside this building, but since time immemorial, we don't like being labelled murderers. In fact, we hate to give a victim the impression that we killed him, because we don't know if we will meet again in the afterlife. Therefore, you as a sponsor must be present, and you will tell the victim his offense, why you want to kill him to mention a few. That way, such person will die with your face in mind and not Biggie's face." He explained.
Adeola found his long talk amusing, but she dare not laugh.
"So far you are just going to tell him you are the one responsible, after which he would die, you are safe." A voice told her. "So, no one will know a thing." The voice added.
"Okay.... I will do it."
----------
Mayor exchanged strange looks with the guys in the room with him. The guys in turn shot him a warning look.
"Guys, abeg. They will kill the boy in few minutes. I can handle this alone." He begged.
"No way. You have to choose between yourself and the boy. Going in search of the boy means death. But you may choose not to and you will be saved."
"It's like you don't get it. I am here today because my sister is being lenient with me. Just so you don't know, she is a highly placed N.A.T.U agent. Just a snap of her fingers, I am behind the bars, because, from all indications, I am a suspect. I brought the kidnappers into the house." Mayor explained.
"Whatever has to be done. Guy, your coming here is a bad idea."
Just then, Mayor's phone vibrated. He quickly removed it to answer his call.
"Who is that?" One of the two men asked.
"Watch me." He replied. "Hello." He answered. "Yes, the junction by the right is the right way. You will see a church, just round the church and you will come face to face with a building from afar off. Just stay put. I will let you know when to move."
"Guy , na this place you dey describe so."
"Yes." Mayor replied.
"You dey craze? You don call the police?"
"Wetin man go do?"
Out of nowhere, a heavy punch landed on Mayor's face, and being a fighter himself, he was quick to duck the second attempt. By the third attempt by his attacker, he was able to get hold of the hand, but another unexpected punch hit him from the sides. In pain, he let go of the hand in his custody, and before he could think of attacking the two hands, a number of punches was registered all over his body.
As a means of devicing and thinking of a way of winning the fight, he sprang up and ran to the extreme end of the room where he was able to do a quick thinking.
"How dare you call the police?"
Mayor knew he had to shut these two men up before they decide to raise alarm, because the later would be disastrous as Biggie would waste no time in finishing him as his case would be like that of a bush meat seeking the hunter.
---------
Biggie led the way into the room where Chris was being held in company of Majid and Adeola who has grown reluctant.
"Chrissy boy." Biggie called and the boy stood up calmly. "How you doing?" He asked.
"Am fine." He replied in a whisper.
"Good to know." Biggie beamed.
All the while, his eyes was fixed on Biggie alone, and seeing Biggie smile, he took his eyes off him to look at his entourage. The first person he saw sent shivers down his spine. He remembered how Majid had called him from the living room, and on getting out, he hit him hard on the head, at the same time lifting him up, while the other guy whose name he didn't bother knowing placed a duck tape over his mouth. He allowed his eyes to wander to the third person who surprisingly is a woman.
"Daniel Martins wife?" He muttered as he took off in happinesss and threw himself on the woman. An action which surprised both Biggie and Majid.
"You are here for me isn't it?" Chris asked. "I can't believe it." Chris cried happily.
Adeola out of reflex held him close to herself, and for the first time in her life, she felt a real sense of owning something. A feeling of fulfillment surged through her and the future looked even brighter for her. She looked from herself to the boy and it will take a DNA test to know he is not her son. Tears rolled down her cheek as she pictured herself having her own kids. Even though Chris came later than his time, if she had been fertile, she would have had a child that is five years old and Chris would have been his/her half brother.
"He is your stepson all the same." A strange voice she has never heard before said.
His mother hurt me. She took my man. She got pregnant for my man." She battled within herself.
"Madam, are you okay?" Biggie asked.
Adeola snapped out of her reverie. "Sorry." She said.
Chris still held on to her tightly.
"Shall we?" Biggie asked signalling to Majid who brought out a 9mm pistol.
"Not anymore. Am taking him to his mother." She replied.
Two quick sounds of gunshot could be head which sent Adeola 'flying' away for safety, but not without taking Chris with her.
_
----------
Several miles away, a police SUV was parked just in front of Daniel Martins range rover. Ten police officers stood outside the vehicles as well as the business tycoon.
"Are you sure this is where my son is being held?" Daniel asked.
"Yes sir." The inspector leading the police team replied.
"You guys go in and bring him out, or what's your job?" Daniel said.
"We can't go in like that. What if it is an ambush?" The inspector replied.
Just then, two quick shots was heard, and from all indications, it seemed to have come from warehouse far ahead.
"Move into postion boys. Mr Martins, I advice you to get into your car and drive back to the main road." The inspector instructed. And without another word, the police squad approached the building.

The time was 7pm and Mark who initially had to return to office after he had met Tina in a bad state five hours ago sat beside Deacon James. The devastated mother of the missing boy has refused to return home, because according to her, her house in empty without her son.
"Mummy, is this how I will loose my son?" Tina cried. "I never bargained for this. This is too much to bear for me, for Chris. Mummy why?" Her mother who sat beside her held her close to her bossom.
"Daddy! I thought I prayed. I thought God forgave me for my sins. I gave birth when I wasn't supposed to. Out of wedlock, at twenty. But I prayed. I asked for God's forgiveness. I thought her forgave me, how foolish of me..." Tina cried even harder. "A week after I prayed, I got a job. Before the year ended, I bought my own car. Daddy! Am so confused. Why am I always crying because of Chris?"
Deacon James looked at the daughter he once despised. The only daughter of his who was the apple of his eyes until she got pregnant to a certain boy who no one could identify till date. Deacon James realized for the first time that even though he doesn't want to admit it, he felt his daughter's pains. Hot tears rolled down his cheeks.
Tina stared at her father in disbelieve. "Did her just shed tears?" was the question she asked herself. Over the years, she has never seen her father in a depressed state, except for when she got pregnant, the old man was sad for a few days, probably thinking of the best decision to take, and three days after the news of the pregnancy got to him, he dropped the bombshell of Tina moving out of his house as he could not cater for her when her 'baby daddy' is somewhere cooling off. That same day, her father returned to work, and she would later set her eyes on him two years later when she decide to attend his thanksgiving ceremony when he was made the Permanent secretary, Ministry of Education.
Mark stared from Tina to her father, then her mother and back to Tina. He could no longer bear seeing them in such

Daniel exchanged quick looks with his lawyers who gave him a no-problem look. Then he returned his attention to the stern looking police boss.
Not knowing his name, plus the man was in mofti, he began; "Is there a way we can shift the questioning? I mean, there will be no need for questioning me, because the boy in question is my son."
The D.P.O thought for a while. "But, am sorry sir. We can't let you go just like that." He replied.
"Okay, name your price." Daniel said.
The D.P.O laughed. "I don't take bribe."
To say Daniel was embarrassed would be an understatement.
"What are you saying in essence?" Daniel asked.
"Until my investigating team conducts their questions, you are to remain within the walls of this station. In fact, you are sitting here in my office because of your status. If it had been someone else, they will be outside or in the questioning room." The DPO explained.
Daniel looked at his lawyers in confusion, only to realize that they were as confused as he is, if not more.
"But, do you realize that you are abusing my right as a citizen of the state?" Daniel asked angrily.
"Your right is abused when you are unlawfully detained without being found guilty, or held by the police for more than twenty four hours. I give you my word, if you spend two hours here, sue me to court." The DPO replied confidently.
"I guess you have a job appointment elsewhere. Be prepared to loose your job because I will ensure that you loose this job." Daniel said angrily.
The DPO only smiled. "I can in no way be threatened by you. You have no power to sack me. You can say that to your employees, I don't work under you." The DPO replied.
Daniel could no longer contain his anger as he furiously hit the table with his fist. "You will be suprised." He said as he brought out his phone and dialled a number.
He spoke with the person at the other end respectfully and judging from their conversation, one could guess he was speaking with someone in the position of authority, probably the state governor or the president.
"You won't spend another hour as the DPO here." He threatened, as soon as he ended the call.
The DPO merely laughed.
Moments later, the DPO's phone rang and he picked at second ring.
"Hello Sir." He said at once. "Yes sir, he is here sir." He replied.
He listened for a few seconds before replying. "Yes sir. The complainant was straightforward in her application and she has one of the best constitutional lawyers on her file. Am sure we don't want such a lawyer taking it against the force." The DPO explained.
"Okay sir." One could see his face fall as he mumbled the 'okay.'
a triumphant smile displayed accross Daniel's face.
"You can go." He said without looking up.
Daniel chuckled before rising to leave.
"But two of my men will be with you until you are ready to cooperate with the police. Good day." He said as he stood up and shook hands with the two lawyers who have been nonexistent since Daniel arrived.
As much as he would have loved to protest, he knew it would be a futile one, because calling the Inspector General for the second time will only show how desperate he is, and as long as he had no skeleton in his cupboard, the least he can do is to allow the police put certain measures in place. He dejectedly walked out of the office.
-------
Mayor sat inside one of the rooms inside the warehouse with two heavily built men.
"What's your relationship with the boy?" The bald headed of the two asked.
"He is my nephew. My sister's son. Only son." He replied.
"You see now. When you were taking Majid and the other two as your best buddy, I told you. See how they betrayed your trust and kidnapped your sister's son." The bald headed man replied.
"I need you guys help. Just tell me where they are keeping him and I will reward you handsomely." Mayor said.
"Calm down dude. For thee mere fact that you are inside the same building with the boy, Biggie has taken some steps, I swear, if you get to where the boy is on your own, make God kill me." The other guy said.
"Your life is in danger sef." the bald head added.
"Just help me. I know it won't take long before I am arrested as an accomplice, my sister is only being linient cos I am her brother. Your help is all I need." Mayor pleaded. "Remember, you are in more danger if I am arrested." He added.
"There are conditions." They said.
"I am ready to meet them." Mayor replied.
"You can't get the boy without killing Biggie. And killing Biggie makes you the number one man without struggle. You will make me number two and make my guy the third in command."
"I cross my heart." Mayor replied without thinking.
Just then a honk sounded outside the warehouse.
"Take cover. Biggie is back."

Adeola sat restlessly inside the restaurant where she was supposed to meet a 'client' of hers. As a woman guided and blinded by hate, she was happy because Christopher has been kidnapped, but at the same time, scared because, considering the kind of job Christina does, she knew there is every possibility that a tracker is on him which makes it easier for him to be found very quickly. And this reason, she felt it would be nice if she made her judgement far away, without seeing the boy or being physically associated with his death.
"Are you Mrs Adeola?" One of the restaurant's staffs asked.
"Yes I am. Any problem?" She replied.
"Come with me please." The lady who wouldn't be more than twenty two said leading the way towards the exit. "And just know there is no problem." She assured.
Adeola carefully picked up her bag and followed the lady.
Less than two minutes later they stopped in a deserted car park where a man requested for her car key and the last thing she remembered was being dragged into a waiting van, just in time when her car was being driven out of the park before she blacked out.
----------
Mayor sat in his car deep in thoughts. He had promised Tina that Chris would return home in twelve hours, and with one hour gone, he knew the kind of danger Chris is in.
His confused mind could only think of two things which could have caused Chris' abduction. The first being the position of the gang leader. Ever since the founder of the group dies eleven months ago, Mayor has stepped up to fill his shoes, and being a charismatic leader, he was able to win a lot of people to his side, at the same time knowing that the ideal person to become the number 1 is Biggie. Even though not yet officially the number one, but with the support he has, Biggie's assumption of power would be rejected and his embraced. For the past eleven months, Biggie and his cohorts have been making plans to get him out of the gang, which prompted him to leaving the gang's home to his own private residence. Maybe Chris' kidnap is just one of Biggie's numerous ploys to get him out of the race for the gang's leadership.
Another possible scenario is the case of someone paying to have Chris kidnapped, even though according to him, that is unlikely. Chris is just a small boy with no enemies yet. But a likely scenario which he is afraid to think of is the case of Tina being responsible for the kidnap.
"Tina sure has offended a lot of people considering the type of job she does, maybe they are using Chris to get back to her." He concluded.
He ignited the car and pulled back on the road. As a system man, he knew he won't have problems locating Chris but to get him out would pose a threat.
"What is worth doing at all is worth doing well." a voice whispered.
Immediately, he brought out his phone and dialled the state police department.

Literature / Re: Plight Of A Left-hand User In A World That Legalize Only The Use Of Right Hand by D9ty7(m): 1:54pm On Aug 20, 2015
I was born left-handed but some forces greater that I am changed it. Right from the time I started writing in school, I started using my right hand, but left for other things including eating. The only thing I do with my right hand is to write which affected my handwriting.
But as I stand today, I can write with both hands legibly, but still doesn't change the fact that I have been forced to change from a 'leftee' to a 'rightee' cos I write more often with my right hand.
