I didn't want to comment on this earlier, but am currently building a small duplex, and the thing is removing my boxers from my buttt, and someone says an helipad will cost 2m?
There's difference between helipad and heluport

http://www.bjtonline.com/business-jet-news/add-heliport-your-home

Here's a quote from a post over 2 years old
VIPERVENOM:
An average helipad costs between £8000+£15000 all those ppl mentioning N100m and above are being mischievous by not saying that's the cost of constructing a "heliport"
Politics › Re: Nigerians On Twitter Angrily React To Buhari Building A Helipad In Daura by DaBullIT(m): 2:46pm On Jun 28, 2015
If you don't understand, you don't need to comment,

For your mind now, no other civilian, company or politician go fit benefit for the for that helipad when dem build am finish?

As he be say na only person wey build road dey use am? Try get sense small na Haba!!!

I wasn't thinking in terms of tourism, if Buhari wants to bypass one airport in order to land in his state faster, then other people individual, private can and will also benefit from that project

Have you recieved small sense? Thank me later ok? smiley
IbokUtoroh:
in ur own assertion, d helipad will be kinda tourist attraction. people will come from far n wide to see it n those who hv chopper will land thr n pay for landing fee even if they dont hv anythng to do in daura.
becos say dogoyaro don build helipad for daura people go come to see am abi?
_u de call people yeye when u r morre yeye than them.

blackpanda:
Ewu what has this trash u spilled got to do with construction of helipad??
Frustrated buffoons jst looking for anything negative to say
Dem full hia , yeye people up and down

temitemi1:
Abeg can dis helipad help us fight corruption, terrorism, equal our naira to dollar, feeding our school childrenhuh If the answer is NO, then "change" is a big SCAM!!
It's a scam , especially since flying an helicopter is more expensive than flying a 20 passenger jumbo jet undecided

Franzeez:
2 million naira cannot even build a fence talkless of a helipad. I see you love PMB so much that you can't think.
What do you know ? I am assuming you don't know the difference between a helipad and runway , Take a floor area of 3.0 x 3.0 m , strip and excarvate floor area MAX depth N.E 2.0M , add reinforcements and pour concrete , I bet 2M will be more than enough

Goddex:
Buhari stealing by tricks since 1759........
Who becomes the owner of that helipad after his presidency? That man is a big pretender
Federal Government is building that Helipad, it means it's exclusively the property of FG , besides That Helipad could be a source of income for the state or city if / when buhari's tenure expires , anyone who wants to use it will have to pay ..

madridguy:
Building a helipad which will allow the President fly to Daura directly from the villa will be a cheaper option than using the Eagle One Presidential jet to first fly to Katsina and then moving the entire convoy by road to Daura, a trip that is repeated for his return as well.

Let's keep in mind that the soil in Otueke is loamy, in contrast to the sandy Daura soil which would raise dust when landing that could disastrously block the pilots visibility. The construction cost of a helipad is about N2 million.
This is a 'clueful' decision which is highly efficient, especially as it significantly reduces the cost of governance.
You Have at least 80% more sense than the 130 people who have commented on this news thus far

Helipad is for helicopters , Runway is for Jets , perhaps they don't know the difference

Mini Presidential jet has at least 7 crews and at least 10 members of the cabinet who will be paid for the trip

Max crew for Helicopter is 2 pilots and maybe 3 aides

That cuts excessive costs for 12 more crew members
Cuts the fees for at least 6 convoys conveying at least 4 security officers per car
cuts the need for surveilance / reconnaissance for security officers who would patrol the road earlier

ROSSIKE:
Egypt itself is a victim of its own powerlessness, which would have been averted had it expanded into a larger Pan-African construct in antiquity. Look how easily it was taken over by foreign invaders - Greeks, and later Arabs. All that would have been impossible if it had the rest of Africa to back it up. Tell me how a small band of Arab fanatics could have faced a combined army of Egyptian troops, Nubian forces, Zulu warriors, Shona warriors, Malian, Ghana forces, Yoruba and Benin archers, and dreaded Igbo headhunters, among others on the continent. They simply wouldn't have bothered trying.
Yeah right , Except in an exceptional situation when the invaders bring cannons and machine guns

3 assumptions

1 you are one of them
2 You didn't read what i wrote
3 If you read, you did not understand

Every topic is on google , i said that much however a place where i can ask questions and get answers from real people is why i choose to post on here , not to offer money to anyone
and if Information is that expensive , I do not want to buy , afterall most of that information is just crap on crap they download the information they sell not first hand experience
Business › Business Advice ???? by DaBullIT(op): 10:59am On Jun 26, 2015
[b] i have this very crucial issue to talk about and i intend to vehemently condemn Nairaland users , smellos and the elebis

Nairaland is an open forum, where people share ideas , opinions , suggestions and communicate

Lots of people have shared their success stories, i am talking about employments, relationships and stuffs and we are all happy to read such good news every once in a while

However i am disappointed that despite being a forum for the enlightened , Some hard core , idiotic folks still come here with their Rass african mentality and spew rubbish

What the heck is with pay me something before i give you something mentality , Must you announce that you have a link or an idea? only to beg for some token ?

I for one i am very frustrated , I needed some urgent information for series of business ideas , I could ask google and come up with blogs , but i wanted ideas and experiences , suggestions and advises from people who have it to offer

Only to be told to pay a token ? I can afford that token , but why would i pay you ? You are not being charged to Use Nairaland, and when you do make money off Nairaland, do you pay returns to Mr Seun Osewa ?

Recharge card bulk pin sellers , some idiots asking me to call or send mail , Why can't you share that info here where i requested it ? those who need it see it and if they can't cope they'll run out of business and learn

Business idea , an eediot is asking me to pay into a UBA account , Why would i just throw away my money for something that probably wouldn't even help me ?

Location for something , Eediots asking for funds to search , I mean how many beggers are really amongst us ?

My point is , we need to let go of this Pay me something first Mentality , The news you read, your posts, your memberships and stuffs are all free , Do not come here and try to make money off people , If your advice helps , i am pretty sure people with good soul will PM you later to thank you and conveniently reward you accordingly

So i suggest anyone who tries to ask for money in return for off google information should be blocked and banned, It's almost like Almajiris are on every topic and every forum here , this should be stopped at once before they de-rep Nairaland

Yours Truly

he is lucky the did not kill him.
[size=18pt]He's unlucky he escaped i know that nemesis with catch up with him , but I wish he was caught and dealt with instantly That would have been a better and satisfying justice served , No police station will own that vehicle and they won't know who drove it either and that would be the end of the manslaughter case , which if it was a civilian, they'd make the person's life a living hell .

these yeye sars people are those who go as far as Ibadan , Akure, Osun all the way from Lagos , Ikeja to arrest people and demand for 3M bail

I hope the residents in the area do not let the culprit go scotfree

Justcash:
Buhari has approximately 3 years, 11 months and 9 days left for him to rule. Nigeria is still on auto-pilot (No ministers running the government) and the once capitulating Boko Haram militants are now surging forward with renewed vigor. Instead of tackling these issues headlong, he is instigating the resurgence of the Niger-Delta militants for reasons best known to him by threatening the sustenance of the Niger-Delta amnesty program. All these are happening while the APC political stooges are still basking the euphoria of their political conquest. They are busy sharing the political spoils of war while the masses grim with so much hope that the greed of their messiahs will subside soon.
