The News of MMM freeze / Collapse did not come as a surprise to me , During the time of Real and Cool and other wonder banks in 2008/9 , I lost half a Million and have since vowed not to invest anywhere i can not trace or see my money

This means that a participant may have had 10000 Mavros, losing 80% value to $2000, but can only withdraw 1% of that value which is $20, that is if they are fortunate enough to be matched with someone willing to Provide Help (PH). After the withdraw of 1% your account will be cleared out, leaving you with 0 Mavros in the system

In MMM’s defence, it does clearly state that there is risk in participating in the system, on its website MMM clearly states that:

Same Story in South Africa , When MMM crashed , Lots of people lost their investment to devaluation and the profit / payout is not 30%
