The Vice President for Sustainable Development, World Bank, Laura Tuck, who spoke at the ongoing World Circular Economic Forum in Helsinki, Finland , stated that Nigeria’s fuel subsidy is not helping the poor.  Tuck who spoke on the theme ‘Scale it up! The Next Era of the Circular Economy', revealed that the the continuous payment of huge sums of money as subsidies on fossil fuels has worsened resources consumption and increased greenhouse emission and pollution.

“Strong evidence shows that a lot of countries put subsidy on fossil fuels, and these subsidies are insufficient to support the poor. They aggravate resources consumption, pollution and greenhouse gas. Globally, subsidies on fossil fuels are huge,” she added.

Tuck said, “We cannot achieve a circular economy if we continue to make policies that give incentives to overuse of resources. Circularity means we use fewer non-renewable energy like fossil fuels and carefully manage our renewable resources like Timber and fisheries, among others.”

Okoro Blessing has issued yet another apology, after her comedy video she felt will make Nigerians laugh took a different turn. 

The blogger who was spotted in the video with her son, replayed her post which led to the house controversy which got her arrested. She shared the video with a 'laugh' emoji, but things took it took a different turn as fans bashed her over the 'distasteful' video which had her turning off the comment section of the post.

AY had quite an exchange with a fan, as he stated that his wife's ass in 100% natural following a video he shared which sparked speculation that she underwent plastic surgery. A fan who commented on the video, had insinuated that the comedian's wife, Mabel Makun had undergone some surgeries which doesn't look good on her. She wrote;  "This nyash doesn't even look good....wonder why they do it"

However AY who countered this claim, stated that his wife's ass in 100% natural. He wrote in response; '@official_missposh don't even bother yourself. Complete follow come from heaven.....even to AY and little daughter. Na we go sell give you if you one buy'

Billionaire and owner of Coscharis Motors, Cosmos Maduka, was spotted in a viral video preaching in a street of Lagos.

While preaching, Cosmos Maduka who had a Yoruba interpreter disclosed that he gave his life to Christ 46 years ago and witnessed a turnaround even though he is the least person expected to stumble upon riches. Recall that few years ago, the businessman revealed that his apprenticeship with his uncle was terminated in 1975. This was because he closed the workshop, to attend a church camp programme. His uncle was livid and dismissed him with only N200 as his settlement.
