A yet-to-be identified man was spotted in a viral video locking in and assaulting some Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) staff over move to disconnect his apartment from the power grid.



The man's anger reportedly stemmed from being served an outrageous estimated electricty bill and he shrugged off pleas of letting go of the EEDC staff. Eyewitnesses claimed that the incident occurred at Umuoji Road in Ogidi area of Anambra State.



It was further gathered that the neighbourhood has had little or no power supply in the last two months. Here is a video from the scene of the incident below;

Modele Fatoyinbo, wife of Pastor Fatoyinbo has been dragged by social media users for defending her husband Pastor Fatoyinbo against rape. 

Recall that it was reported earlier today that Pastor Omodele Fatoyinbo, denied claims of her husband raping Busola Dakolo. According to her, it is impossible for her husband to be a rapist. She said “My husband is not a rapist. Even if he was an unbeliever, he would not be a rapist.” Her husband, however, took the microphone from her before she could finish her speech, and said: “the elders are handling the matter.”

However Modele Fatoyinbo was dragged by social media users after the comment,for defending her husband Pastor Fatoyinbo against rape. They also accused her doing nothing about rape allegations, made against her husband by other women in the past. Pastor Modele Fatoyinbo was also tagged a rape apologist, only out to protect her family's source of income.

Ese Walter, the lady who first publicly accused Pastor Fatoyinbo of rape, has reacted to the Busola Dakolo's rape allegation against the COZA Founder. 

Ese Walter had in 2013, confessed to having had an affair with the church’s Senior Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo, another former female member has come out with claims of her alleged encounter with the pastor in a hotel in Lagos. Unmarried then, the former COZA member had sent social media alight after she alleged in a blog post that she had a week-long sexual relationship with the pastor during his London visit. Ms. Walter, who admitted that the relationship was consensual, however said she felt “abused and manipulated” by Mr. Fatoyinbo and the fleeting manner the church’s leadership handled the affair after she raised it with another pastor in the church.

Ese Walter who reacted to the Busola Dakolo's rape allegation against Pastor Fatoyinbo, said she was first wondering what she had a surge in friend requests. However when told that the world owes her an apology for not believing her when she went public with the rape allegation in 2013, she revealed that she has moved past that as all she needs now is a phone as hers crashed.

A yahoo girl identified as Isaac Christiana Nkemdirim has bagged an 8-months jail sentence, after being arraigned by the EFCC. 

The yahoo girl who bagged an 8-months jail sentence, pleaded guilty to the one count charge of obtaining by false pretence contrary to Section 15(2)(a) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act, 2002 as amended and punishable under 15(3) of the same Act.  The statement by EFCC reads in part;

"The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Benin Zonal Office today, June 28, 2019 secured the conviction of Isaac Christiana Nkemdirim before Justice M.G. Umar of the Federal High Court sitting in Benin City, Edo State. Nkemdirim was convicted on a one count charge of obtaining by false pretence contrary to Section 15(2)(a) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act, 2002 as amended and punishable under 15(3) of the same Act.

Upon her arraignment, Nkemdirim pleaded guilty to the charge. Based on her plea, the prosecution counsel, Fredrick O. Dibang prayed the court to convict and sentence the defendant accordingly. However, the defence counsel prayed the court to temper justice with mercy as his client was a first time offender and a youth who has promise never to go back to the crime. Justice M.G. Umar thereafter convicted and sentenced the defendant to eight ( months imprisonment without an option of fine.)"

An Abuja Pastor identified as  Basil Princewill, has been jailed for raping, impregnating and drugging a 14-year-old girl identified as Favour Iwoha. 

The Abuja Pastor who was jailed for raping, impregnating and drugging a 14-year-old girl, was araigned in June, 2012, by the police a four-count charge bordering on rape, impersonation and attempt to cause abortion and abetting miscarriage. The founder of Mountain Movers Ministry International, Nyanya, Abuja, who was sentenced to seven years in prison forcefully had sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl, Favour Iwoha, between July 27 and December 31, 2011, at Mountain Movers Ministry International and his house at Nyanya, Abuja, without her consent and impregnated her.

Pastor Basil who was convicted on two of the four counts contained in the charge on which he was tried, reportedly gave the girl drugs aimed at aborting the pregnancy. The drugs reportedly made the little girl bleed for days.

A Nigerian man said to be Chartered accountant and his lover, were found dead around 8am on June 20  at his 16, Taiwo Oke Street, Victory Estate in Ejigbo home.

The man who found was dead with his unnamed lover in Lagos, was identified 56-year-old Rasaki Balogun, was found lying face down in the sitting room with burnt meat and stew on the gas cooker in the kitchen. The unnamed woman was found laying on a knife. It was further learnt that the doormat at the man’s house, was used as wage to prevent the blood from flowing out of the apartment and alerting other neighbours. The Lagos police spokesman Bala Elkana who confirmed the incident, said in a statement; 

“The man is said to be living alone in the house while his family lives in a different place. Identity of the mistress is yet to be established as he was said to have picked her about two days before the incident from unknown location."

Ubi Franklin who reacted to the report about him yesterday, has accused Iyanya of paying blogs to write about him duping Davido and Chioma.  Recall that it was reported yesterday that Ubi Franklin who is the owner of Made Men Music, Instant Group of Companies, and a host of other businesses, was allegedly paid to facilitate the cooking show sponsored by Dunes Abuja but has not done much. However Davido debunked the claims, and further described the report as 'false'.
