Tonto Dikeh and Halima Abubakar who once had a fight and reunited shortly after, have unfollowed each other on Instagram over an alleged gossip.Insiders familiar with their stand-off alleged that Tonto accused Halima of gossiping about her with proof. While Halima denied the allegation, Tonto decided to move on with Bobrisky.

Don Jazzy has reacted just after Speed Darlington stated if he could make it with his voice, then his future is solid. According to Speed Darlington, if Don Jazzy can make it with his voice, live in a nice house or at least afford to rent in a clean neighborhood and also nice cars, then he can too.

Katung Aduwak who was the first winner Big Brother Naija, has shared photos from the scene of the accident he survived 15 years ago.

The reality show star who was quite thankful for life, revealed that he drove the car with two women as passengers. He further revealed that he had 2 brain surgeries, broken ribs, cracked C5 & C6,broken jaw in 2 places, coma for days, menieval jacket, complete rehabilitation.

Katung Aduwak who shared photos from the scene of the accident he survived 15 years ago, wrote;

Shatta Wale who took to Facebook to react to his fight with Stonebwoy at the VGMA held last night stated that one should play with a lion. Recall that after Stonebwoy was announced as the winner of Reggae-Dancehall artist of the year for the 5th consecutive time, Shatta Wale attacked him on stage with his SM militants. Recall that our video showed that Stonebwoy also pulled a gun on stage.

However addressing himself as a Lion after his VGMA fight with StoneBwoy, Shatta Wale who stated that no one should play with him, wrote;  "Don’t play with a lion like that ...He dislikes to smell blood !!!"

This is coming after an Insider revealed that Charter House had promised to award Shatta Wale as the Artiste of the year. In a leaked Whatsapp Chat between a worker with Charter House only identified as Nana K and a social media user, it was learnt that the music outfit had agreed to award Shatta Wale with the ultimate award which is the “Artiste of the Year”.

This agreement was reportedly reached after Shatta Wale paid a courtesy call on the CEO of Charter House Mrs. Theresa Ayoade few months ago.  While it was reported that Shatta Wale went to apologize officially to the CEO, Nana K claimed that the meeting was for an agreement to be reached between both parties. It was alleged that Shatta Wale was told to help promote this year’s award on social media, in exchange for “Artiste of the year”

Stonebwoy has explained why he pulled a gun after he got attacked by Shatta Wale on stage at the VGMA 2019, held last night. According to Stonebwoy, he brought the gun he pulled on Shatta Wale who attacked on stage because of threats he had received prior to the event. He further revealed that people had been sending threats of assault and he wanted to just protect himself.

The Ghanaian Dancehall artiste further apologized for the fight that broke up between Shatta Wale fans and his fans, and assured that all the problem has been settled. Just after Stonebwoy was announced as the winner of the Reggae Dancehall Artist of the year at the VGMA 2019, Shatta Wale attacked him after he mounted the stage to pick his award.

Runtown who announced plans to release an EP on May 31 amid a legal battle with his former record company, Eric Many, has disclosed that he can't decide hit songs. On releasing an EP,  the singer told Sunday Scoop that he settle for that instead of an album because he didn’t see any difference between both. Runtown who argued that he has released more hits after he released his biggest song 'Mad Over You', further stated he can't decide hit songs. 

“I have other great songs. Arguably, the biggest original song in the history of Coke Studio Africa was made by me and Nasty C, titled, No Permission. I will continue to focus on making music that I love and leave the rest to the universe. In the studio, many artistes and producers only play their parts by putting in elements that they consider catchy but when the songs go out, the listeners get to make the decision. I only have control over the quality and level of truth that I put into my music and so far, my instinct has never failed me. Davido has reacted after being slammed by Zlatan Ibile's friends, shortly after the singer was released alongside 3 others from EFCC custody. While it was reported earlier that Davido effected the release of the rapper by hiring a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Zlatan's friends countered it by claiming that it was Olamide and Burna Boy who helped in their release. This led to a back and forth drag session between Davido's camp and Zlatan's camp.

Transparency International in its new report titled: “Corruption in Education Systems in West Africa", revealed that more than half of Nigeria’s education budget lost to corruption. The report was presented during the group's sub-regional meeting on Wednesday in Abuja, as part of the policy papers on land corruption and corruption in education systems in West Africa. The report from Transparency International which claimed that half of Nigeria's education budget is lost to corruption, further stated that corruption is commonplace in education systems across the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).


“This affects education access, quality, inclusion and learning outcomes with devastating consequences, not only for national economic growth but also for the life chances of children, their families and communities,” the report said. It also highlighted “Resource misallocation, corrupt procurement, exchange of sex for grades, examination malpractices, fake qualifications, teacher absenteeism, and corrupt recruitment practices” as the various corruption risks and challenges facing education systems in all the countries.

Pryse who was formerly signed to Chocolate City, has apologized to Tiwa Savage, few weeks after she joined Victoria Kimani to call her out.  Pryse who joined in calling in the ex-Mavin singer out, had also tweeted; 

“When a female artiste says to a show promoter, “I will only perform at your show if i’m the only female artiste on the bill.” What do you call that? That shit happened. A calling out was in order. That being said, I don’t agree with women slut shaming other women. That sucks. Shoulda gone another way with the narrative.” "Me sha. I spoke my truth. Y'all can tear me apart if you want. Ada Slim has called out Bishop Umoh a.k.a Okon Lagos, following report of him defending Abuja policemen who raped women they accused of being prostitutes. We reported earlier that Bishop Umoh who reacted to the outrage the alleged rape ignited, stated that the charge shouldn't be rape but theft because the policemen stole 'goods' belonging to the women they raped.

However Ada Slim who called out Bishop Umoh a.k.a Okon Lagos for defending the Abuja policemen who raped some women, stated that rape is rape and one shouldn't be insensitive about it. She further added that a prostitute is someone's child and should be saved.

A bus driver who was detained for 6 years without trial, has won a N10m lawsuit against the Nigerian Police at the Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday. The commercial bus driver, Jones Ofori who was detained for an alleged robbery without trial since 2013, had his counter lawsuit filed on his behalf by his lawyer, Adewale Fadipe.

He was reportedly arrested by the police in 2013 after a bus given to him by his employer, one Mr Ikechukwu, went missing from where he parked it overnight in the Ajah area of Lagos.Jones who was first detained for two weeks at the Ajiwe Police Station, Ajah after a complaint was made; was subsequently transferred to the office of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Ikeja, where he was further detained for two weeks.

However after he was charged with robbery before a state’s magistrate’s court which remanded him in prison custody, he was kept in prison and never arraigned again.  Justice Muslim Hassan who ruled on the case in which the bus driver detained for six years won N10m against the Nigerian police, said he had no other option but to grant the relief sought by Ofori because his arrest and detention without trial violated his fundamental rights
