The Maryland Police in its statement, has disclosed that Chris Attoh is not a person of interest in his wife's murder which has generated lots of controversy. 

This is coming after the Ghanaian actor became a subject of conspiracy theory, which had critics placing him at the center of the murder incident. They backed their claim with tweet Attoh shared, 30 minutes before his wife was shot dead. It reads “When it comes to relationships, remaining faithful is never an option but a priority. Loyalty is ever".

A report by KABC-TV however confirmed that Chris Attoh is not a person of interest in his wife's murder, according to the Maryland Police. The deceased had married the famous Ghanian actor Chris Attoh in late 2018, but reportedly had another husband — an American man who is currently in jail on drug charges. Maryland court records show she had filed for divorce from him in April.

Governor Ganduje who at a ceremony organised by the newly appointed emirs of Gaya, Rano, Bichi and Karaye in appreciation of their appointment, revealed that the Kano Emirate law was gazetted and can't be reversed. 

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje who said that the “Kano State Emirate Appointment and Deposition Amendment Law 2019” has already been gazetted, hence can't be reversed, claimed that his government created the emirates in order to reduce the burden on the Kano emirate. 

“We created the emirates in order to reduce the burden on the Kano emirate. The challenges are too weighty on Kano emirate that is why the emirate is running away from centralization of the system. The creation of the additional emirates will allow us to re-examine history. This is not something new in Kano, it has happened before. We created emirates based on the aspirations and yearnings of our people. I am sure this development will lead to rapid development in the affected areas" he added.

Adebimpe Oyebade who copped the 'The Best New Actress 2018' award in the Yoruba section of the City People Awards, has stated that actresses who bleach have nothing to offer. The actress who revealed that the favourite part of her body is her skin colour as it makes her unique in the industry, added that it also gets her movie roles.

Adebimpe Oyebade who maintained that actresses who ‘bleach’ have nothing to offer in the interview with Sunday Scoop, said; 

My favourite part of my body is my skin colour as it makes me unique in the industry. I’m dark and I’m proud of it. As a matter of fact, I have got movie roles because of my dark skin. It is a blessing to me.

Actresses who ‘bleach’ their skins are not confident and don’t believe in themselves. They also probably don’t have anything to offer, because if they do, they wouldn’t go down that route. Dark-skinned girls are doing well in the industry. I have never been discriminated against because of my complexion.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has seized Senate President Bukola Saraki's houses as they also marked others.Bukola Saraki's houses seized by the EFCC are reportedly located at 15a, 15b and 17 MacDonald Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. It was gathered that the EFCC who were unsure of the actual property that belonged to the Senate President, decided to place inscriptions and stickers on all of them.

According to insiders, 15a and 15b were declared by Saraki in his asset declaration form, it is believed that some other houses on the street were bought by the Senate President from the Presidential Implementation Committee for the Sales of Government Property through shell companies. A relative who spoke to Sunday Punch on condition of anonymity said;

“The EFCC had been making inquiries into the finances and assets of Saraki for quite some time. They came to inscribe ‘EFCC, Under Investigation’ in red on the walls and the fences. The irony is that even houses that don’t belong to Saraki were marked. From what we were told, they are keeping him under strict surveillance ahead of May 29, 2019 when they may invite him.”

Shortly after Naira Marley was released from EFCC Custody, he was spotted in a viral video mocking the EFCC with Olamide who was smoking in the background.

This came after the EFCC in its statement said that Intelligence report had Naira Marley and Zlatan Ibile to cybercrime offence. They were arrested along with: Tiamiu Abdulrahman Kayode, Adewunmi Adeyanju Moses and Abubakar Musa. Their arrest followed an early morning raid on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 9, Gbangbola Street, Ikate, Lekki, Lagos.

Popular Nigerian music producer, Tspize has been hospitalized after suffering a paralysis that left him unable to use his move his lower limbs.Tspize who was in Ghana to work with one of the country’s topmost musicians, was hospitalized at Lapaz hospital after suffering the paralysis.

According to sources, he had a bitter face-off with the Ghanaian A-list artiste who threatened to deal with him. It was gathered that he came down with the paralysis 3 days after the threat, and all medical treatment to get him back on his feet at the hospital he was rushed to by 12 midnight, has proven abortive.
