The Nigerian police who took to Twitter to share some safety cautions when approaching a security checkpoint or when flagged-down by the Police or other security agencies, told Nigerians not to tell a policeman 'shoot me if you can'.According to the Nigerian Police, statements such as ‘shoot me if you can' can push a policeman to kill a civilian as the mental state of the security officer is not known at that time.

The tweet read;

Oftentimes, you hear people say things like ‘shoot me, if you can!” Note that this is a recipe for disaster! It is very provocative and an unnecessary call for war. So, please play safe, more so, as you do not know the state of mind of the officer concerned.

The tweet caught the attention of Nigerians who took to the page to drag the Nigerian Police over the statement, which they claimed confirmed that most police officers are mentally unstable. Here are some tweets below;

Cossy Orjiakor who shared a role play photo, has an exchange with a fake Ned Nwoko Instagram account asking her to be his 7th wife. The Nollywood actress had announced she will be visiting Dubai soon, before the exchange ensued.

However the handler of the fake account who commented on the photo, said she can be his 7th wife. Cossy who fired back at him, wrote in response;

Some Nigerians who reacted in the Twitter thread of a photo a Nigerian lady shared on Instagram, disclosed that they are following her because of her big boobs. The lady identified as @estherboobs on Twitter, shared the photo with caption 'Good afternoon Twitter!!! Just wanted to drop this here!!' Some Nigerians who commented shortly after, told the lady out-rightly that they are following her because of her big boobs.

Some people seeking to be permanent secretaries in Ebonyi failed to recite the national anthem, states and capitals, among other questions they were asked during an interview session.It was learnt that the oral interview which came after a written test, was supervised by David Umahi and his deputy, Kelechi Igwe, who was the chairman of the interview committee.

Among the people the people seeking to be permanent secretaries in Ebonyi who couldn't recite national anthem, were two top civil servants. They failed to recite the national anthem, while another two could not recite the states in Nigeria and their capitals. NAN reported that a particular candidate said that the capital of Kwara is Kwara and that capital of Lagos is Lagos, while another said that the Anambra capital is Anambra.

Governor Umahi who disclosed that two persons each from the 13 local government areas of the state were selected, making them 26, including three serving permanent secretaries, jokingly told one of the interviewees to ask her children at home to teach her how to recite the states and their capitals. He further stated that only intelligent and resourceful candidates, would be selected to assist in repositioning the civil service.

Ada Slim has called out her Secondary School mate who has been monitoring her on social media, and also dropping nasty comments about her. While the alleged schoolmate denied being jealous of Ada Slim, the actress who recounted how far she has come ahead of her 34th birthday tomorrow, stated that she can't remember meeting the lady who has been dropping nasty comments about.

An aggrieved Nigerian husband who accused his wife of infidelity, has further alleged that she married his best man at their wedding without divorcing her. 39-year-old Shola Motunbi who got married to Marian Ekiomado in August 2016, recounted how he caught his wife neck-deep in cheating shortly after their marriage.

He told Vanguard; 

What got me suspicious was that after she was 3 to 4 months pregnant, having terminated 2 pregnancy in the name of stress. she called her younger brother to fight and injured me in the house and I left and returned after she delivered on the 5th September 2017, I went there just once to see the child with my family after then she refuses to take my calls and refuses to bring the child for me to see. These made me get suspicious the more and so demanded a DNA test which she and her parent refused, to my greatest surprise I receive a call on Saturday 27th if April 2019 that she’s getting married in her mother’s house at Sapele road. I later found that she was getting married to the man who bests me.

Shola has since filed a suit in a magistrate court to seek redress in what he termed has “breach of marital laws”, he has, however, not disclosed the one in particular to journalists as at the time of filing this report Marian Ekimoado, when contacted denied the statement but refused to give newsmen detail information to confirm the veracity of Shola’s claim.

Oba Saheed Elegushi of Ikateland on Friday, married a second wife in a Nikkai ceremony which took place in Kano state.Oba Saheed Elegushi who is one of the richest, finest and youngest royal fathers who reigns over the vast Ikateland in Lagos Island, married Hadiza Tanko as his second wife. It was gathered that Hadiza Tanko, is the younger sibling of Salihu Tanko Yakasai, the Special Adviser to the Kano State Governor, Alhaji Dr Umaru Ganduje. Bisi Alimi who shared a post addressed to straight men, stated that one can't continue to enjoy gay benefit and not put in the gay work. According to the Gay Rights Activist, if straight men think women can't collect money from without them asking for sex, then shouldn't expect gay men to spend money without asking for sex.
