When u have ur artillery in place you need no Fvcking air support.

The pilot of the failed raid on BH camp is a Kanuri from Bornu state. The pilot goes up there flies round to alert the BH guys and come back to tell us no camp there.

So please try and understand me ok.

Italiano1: Subjective comment.

Every administration should be judged on its own merits; even the founders of the American democracy all came from a military background, General J.J. Rawlings laid the foundation for the transformation we see in Ghana today.

Nigeria has been under democratic governance since 1999, what has changed? Elections are still rigged with impunity, there is no freedom of the press, corrupt administrators, ministers are still in office and are not brought to account- in fact there has been a geometric increase in corruption at all levels of government, electricity provision has not improved, ASUU is still on strike etc etc -essentially Nigeria is still experiencing the same problems that it had under military rule.

I will support any leader that has the vision and a mission to make Nigeria a better country- military or politician

Thanks my friend. Insecurity fuelled by serving military officers is the Greatest Business in Nigeria Today.

1025: ihejirika is talking as a politician that he is and not as the military he pretends to be. he has been initiated into the stealing cabal and as such can only talk from their voices.
such statement can be applicable to any other country EXCEPT nigeria. we need serious minded and well disciplined military men(not political soldiers like ihejirika) to come in and sanitize this jungle like Jerry Rawlings did in ghana. when a real military man speaks, it comes with fire and not romantic words of military civilians like the speaker here.

Let the Doubters Answer These Questions Raised.

Sukosam: If my memory serves me correctly, Nigerian forces occupied the peninsula from the Abacha regime to when it was finally handed over... If that be the case, that would mean the military threat was issued after the icj judgement.. The question is where were french during those years? What rili happend was dat during the shagari regime, a security document detailing how nigeria would capture younde in 2 wks was leaked to the french. With this document, the the french govt threatened shagari with military action if cameroum was attacked, hence, the proposed military campaign against yaounde was cancelled.. This and coupled with the chadian boarder dispute were sum of the events at the time that undermined shagari's govt(by angering the military), hence setting the stage for a military coup.. But the question remains; where were d french when nigeria occupied majority of the community making up bakassi under the abacha regime?

naptu2: Lieutenant General George Patton slapping incidents.

In early August 1943, Lieutenant General George S. Patton garnered substantial controversy after he slapped two United States Army soldiers under his command during the Sicily Campaign of World War II.

Patton's hard-driving personality and lack of belief in the medical condition then known as "battle fatigue" led to the soldiers becoming the subject of his ire in incidents on 3 and 10 August, when Patton struck and berated them after discovering they were patients at evacuation hospitals away from the front lines and without apparent physical injuries.

3 August

Private Charles H. Kuhl, of L Company, U.S. 26th Infantry Regiment, reported to an aid station of C Company, 1st Medical Battalion, on 2 August 1943. Kuhl, who had been in the U.S. Army for eight months, had been attached to the 1st Infantry Division since 2 June 1943. He was diagnosed with "exhaustion," a diagnosis he had been given three times since the start of the campaign. From the aid station he was evacuated to a medical company and given sodium amytal. Notes in his medical chart indicated

Patton arrived at the hospital the same day, accompanied by a number of medical officers, as part of his tour of the U.S. II Corps troops. He spoke to some patients in the hospital, commending the wounded. He then approached Kuhl, who did not appear to be injured. Kuhl was sitting slouched on a stool midway through a tent ward filled with injured soldiers. When Patton asked Kuhl where he was hurt, Kuhl reportedly shrugged and replied that he was "nervous" rather than wounded, adding "I guess I can't take it." Patton "immediately flared up," slapped Kuhl across the chin with his gloves, then grabbed him by the collar and dragged him to the tent entrance. He shoved him out of the tent with a kick to his backside. Yelling "Don't admit this son-of-a-bitch," Patton demanded that Kuhl immediately be sent back to the front, adding, "You hear me, you gutless bastard? You're going back to the front."

Corpsmen picked up Kuhl and brought him to a ward tent, where it was discovered he had a temperature of 102.2 °F (39.0 °C); he was later diagnosed with malarial parasites.

10 August

Private Paul G. Bennett, 21, of C Battery, U.S. 17th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, was a four-year veteran of the U.S. Army, and had served in the division since March 1943. Records show he had no medical history until 6 August 1943, when a friend was wounded in combat. According to a report, he "could not sleep and was nervous." Bennett was brought to the 93rd Evacuation Hospital. In addition to having a fever, he exhibited symptoms of dehydration, including fatigue, confusion, and listlessness. His request to return to his unit was turned down by medical officers.

—A medical officer describing Bennett's condition.

On 10 August, Patton entered the receiving tent of the hospital, speaking to the injured there. Patton approached Bennett, who was huddled and shivering, and asked what the trouble was. "It's my nerves," Bennett responded. "I can't stand the shelling anymore." Patton reportedly became enraged at him, slapping him across the face. He began yelling: "Your nerves, hell, you are just a goddamned coward. Shut up that goddamned crying. I won't have these brave men who have been shot at seeing this yellow bastard sitting here crying." Patton then reportedly slapped Bennett again, knocking his helmet liner off, and ordered the receiving officer, Major Charles B. Etter, not to admit him. Patton then threatened Bennett, "You're going back to the front lines and you may get shot and killed, but you're going to fight. If you don't, I'll stand you up against a wall and have a firing squad kill you on purpose. In fact, I ought to shoot you myself, you goddamned whimpering coward." Upon saying this, Patton pulled out his pistol threateningly, prompting the hospital's commander, Colonel Donald E. Currier, to physically separate the two. Patton left the tent, yelling to medical officers to send Bennett back to the front lines.

As he toured the remainder of the hospital, Patton continued discussing Bennett's condition with Currier. Patton stated, "I can't help it, it makes my blood boil to think of a yellow bastard being babied," and "I won't have those cowardly bastards hanging around our hospitals. We'll probably have to shoot them some time anyway, or we'll raise a breed of morons."

You lier. Did you sit at the table when the plans were being put together. l know u r joking.

We are winning. All foreign and Tuareg rebels dominating the North with violence under the guise of BH will be given MASS BURIAL.

This civil rule made our boarders Porus. In a military setting, you want to guard ur country integrity jealously.

We are winning. Insha Allah.

BAMILASSA: NA LIER

I know I'm a little bit eccentric and unorthodox compared to the way most of you do things on here. But they can't just go around maiming innocent civilians with crude military tactics and expect an unwinnable war to become winnable. The more civilians you kill, the higher the willing tools for recruitment into BH army.

The real BH members are already ghost, at the moment - chilling somewhere in the Sahara. You lot are just killing civilians.

Using surface to air guns and missiles is just barbaric and savagely around civilian population. Most of you are smiling now, but don't cry when these civilians start suicide-bombing your homes in Southern Nigeria, when the "blowback" kicks off.

I hardly comment on this forum, but you just push me to login and comment
I don't knw which means your following the situation in the north.
You just hard the air force fighter jet was shot, and managed to return to base.

My question is that who shot it? Civilian or boko haram.
A civilian that has such weapon is no longer called a civilian.
The nigerian army are not new in war zone.
So my brother stop sitting in your room and saying what u don't know
If you engaged the army with guns and riffLes.they will surely respond.
