Are all the workers in those commissions going to lose their jobs?

Because with the high inflation rate in the country, this would be a terrible time for workers with families to cope without a job.

That's the minimum eligibility criteria. Then you will now compete with everyone that met the eligibility criteria. Just 180 post since 2017 (7 years) is low among other participants. That's average of 25 posts per year which signals alternative moniker or little contribution. I hope this helps.

I believe total time spent online will tell a different story and not amount of posts per year, because some people just like to read others opinion and maybe laugh at the debates and disagreements. I personally for one don't like to post or comment on tribalistic threads because I don't feel comfortable with it.

It's that simple. Lagos has embarked on even bigger projects since then but this is not supposed to be a government project it's private partnership thing.

Yes, it's a PPP thing but it states that the government will provide the land and the amenities the doctors need and in return the doctors will spend some of their time in Lagos sharing their expertise. My gripe is that it took long for the government to live up to their side of the bargain.

But it's a good project and worthy of emulation.

Such projects are usually Public -Private Partnerships(PPPs) so to get the right investors take time. Trust Lagos to follow things through. Everything has been planned. That's why in Lagos you have to be careful where you buy land.

It took a really long time. From Tinubu, To Fashola 8 years, Ambode, Sanwo Olu and still not much progress. Let's hope a lot of people who knew about the project get to see it in their lifetime.🙏🏿

If what, the OP said about the history of the project, then it's shameful that for almost 2 decades, it was all talk and no work. Nigerians need to change this stereotype of not following up on projects, or outright abandoning them.

I honestly think that road construction is good but am I the only person that thinks governance goes beyond just road construction? What about health, education, security, waste management, agriculture, enabling environment, FDI etc

There is a reason that this organization and others were established, but they seem to work in a selective manner to tackle corruption with some of them even being part of the corruption they are supposed to checkmate.

I want to believe it's purpose is for enhanced security, but are we really achieving results through it? Are the people more secure?

Funny enough, almost on a yearly basis do we hear from various security agencies about ban of checkpoints😏... Nigeria should be a course of study to truly understand.
