PoliticsRe: Is Nigeria Worth Dying For? by DaHitler(m): 10:39am On Jun 17, 2006
What if doing everything in your power means speaking out against a Military government. Would you do that? In which case, will you be living for Nigeria or dieing for Nigeria?

Will you not be in essence dieing for Nigeria because the responce will be swift and bloody. Most likely culminating in the termination of your life.

Also, how does living for Nigeria pose any real benefit for the State? Surely, if you are guaranteeing your life (living), you are not standing up to the evil forces that exist in the nation. In which case, you are merely being complacent.
FoodRe: Is Food Scarce In Nigeria? by DaHitler(m): 10:13am On Jun 17, 2006
Personally, I eat two meals a day because I choose to. And this is not due to lack of funds/access to food. It is just that a lot of people, myself included, are always running late in the morning and getting a bite to eat is the last thing on our mind when we are rushing not to be late to work/school. cool
PoliticsRe: Who Should Be the Next President of Nigeria? by DaHitler(m): 6:44am On Jun 17, 2006
At this point, I will vote for anyone that is willing to break Nigeria up. I am tired of this damn country. Heck, I will sacrifice myself if it was guaranteed that Nigeria will break up after I die.

PoliticsRe: Is Nigeria Worth Dying For? by DaHitler(m): 5:42am On Jun 17, 2006
This is an honest question I have for all Nigerians. Is Nigeria worth dieing for? Because I seem to hear a lot about potential this and potential that, but are you willing to die for the actualization of this potential?

Personally, I will not die for a Nigeria. I might die for a new State that is formed from carving out western Nigeria (no Hausa land). But not for Nigeria as a whole.

CultureRe: What Are You? Yoruba, Ibo or Hausa? by DaHitler(m): 4:53am On Jun 17, 2006
Drusilla, thats a very shallow statement. Different ethnic groups are not the same. Maybe you should try carving out parts of Germany, France, Italy and Czechoslovakia and then tell them to cease the in fighting because they are all white.

You see, for Africans, things are not about black and white. Just because thats the dividing lines in America, does not make it the same for the rest of the world.

Drusilla, you are soo cute. Now that I have seen your picture, that would explain why you post a lot of pro-Christian things. Afterall, you are just a baby. You don't know any better, do you? tongue

Christino, excellent advice. As you can see from Bolex posts, it truly works miracles in boosting ones profile.

I don't know if they will be a lot of fighting over who assumes the role of a figure-head President. In fact, many serious politicians will rather aim for a Legislative sit in one of the 3 nations that forms the confederation.
PoliticsRe: Who Should Be the Next President of Nigeria? by DaHitler(m): 10:01pm On Jun 16, 2006
A figure-head President with no real power. He would be responsible for managing Abuja, and taking care of international affairs.

PoliticsRe: Many Bakassi Residents Prefer Nigeria by DaHitler(m): 8:45pm On Jun 16, 2006
All this nationalist crap that is comming out of Bakassi is really starting to annoy me. Why anyone would want to be a part of this Hausa dominated abomination is beyond me.

United Kingdoms uses a similar system. It consist of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Each of those regions that make up the United Kingdoms have their own parliament.

Confederation style government will work. With each confederation having its own army and Prime minister. Abuja can be kept as the confederation capital or whatever they want to call it. Migration between the 3 provinces (west, east and north) can continue to be free. As far as I am concerned, if you leave in a region long enough, you become more like the people that live there than your "native" region.

Similar to the ones the British had in Nigeria before the moronic military destroyed it.

PoliticsRe: Who Should Be the Next President of Nigeria? by DaHitler(m): 7:31pm On Jun 16, 2006
Jalal, since you claim unity, on what ground can Nigeria be united? Its obviosly not ethnic groups. Nor is it religious identity. undecided
PoliticsRe: Who Should Be the Next President of Nigeria? by DaHitler(m): 7:27pm On Jun 16, 2006
We don't believe in anything. Don't spew nonsense. Even the so called "heros" knew Nigeria was and can never be one.

Don't give me nationalist bull shxt. Claim unity all you want, but if I had an army, I assure you, the North will be engulfed in flames.
PoliticsRe: Who Should Be the Next President of Nigeria? by DaHitler(m): 7:09pm On Jun 16, 2006
Maybe there is no need reconciliation. Give them their sovereign country and they will be happy.

I think about 80 percent or more of the southerners are tired of having the "do-gooder" Northerners trying to pretend like they bring anything tangible to Nigeria. Make your own Arewa republic or whatever and leave us alone.

PoliticsRe: Who Should Be the Next President of Nigeria? by DaHitler(m): 7:03pm On Jun 16, 2006
And what reconciliation when the massive killings of southerners took place no more than 4 years ago in Sharia north. Clearly, the causes of the civil war have not been resolved. angry
PoliticsRe: Who Should Be the Next President of Nigeria? by DaHitler(m): 7:01pm On Jun 16, 2006
Jalal, and what does the south-west get?

Maybe the North should just be removed instead of holding Nigeria back. Hows that?

And the Igbos were right all along for trying to leave.
