What most likely happened is that a power block in the PDP Lagos feels that he won the nomination of the Lagos State Party in 2003 and he failed to deliver, now he wants to take up another turn in 2007.

It is very likely that there are 5 million Nigerians in America. Note that it is hard to point out an African from an African American if they have assimilated fully into the new society. Also, note, I said I was including people that had one parent that is Nigerian as one.

The guy was strangleds because he was killed in broad day light. To use a gun would have alerted the people in the area. And since he appears to be living in a secure, GRA style area, the police would have been there in time to intercept the assasins.

I would extimate at least 20 million. This figure includes those that only have one Nigerian parents.

Of course, I am basing this entirely off shady estimates I know about Nigerian population in Ghana (about 2 million), Ivory coast (a little more than a Millioin), South Africa (About 2 million) and then at least 5 million in UK and 4-6 million in America and then the rest would come from other countries.

Note: This figure might be way off the mark. But in all honesty, even the Federal Government of Nigeria couldn't give you an honest estimate. Heck, they couldn't give you an honest estimate on the number of people in the country (until they get done counting the census by late 3rd quater).

Afeni is short for Afenifere. I am not sure what either mean. I do however know what the Afenifere is, but I am not a member or affiliated with the group. Afenifere is a pan-Yoruba group.

lol, Nigerian movies are fun while they last. I have seen quite a few, and now its starting to seem like seen one, seen them all. They all have the same plot about the evil step mother/ex-wife/2nd or first wife that performs witch craft to get the Man of the House to forsake his kids e.t.c. Add in a bit of witch craft and people that seem too good to be Nigerian and you have a Nigerian "fim." I can only handle so much those kind of plots. But, it was fun while it lasted.

By the way, what website did you get your nigerian movies from? (You did get them from a website, right?)
