No work no pay should be enforced so when any union wants to go on strike, it should be really necessary. Not that when they are tired of going to work, they will just wake up and proceed on strike with one flimsy excuse.

And if the strike is very necessary, I'm sure the public will prevail on the govt to pay full salary after resolution and the govt is found wanting.

Though in my opinion, the govt should give them half of their salary and use the rest to equip university libraries.

I completely agree with you. Also, it will set a bad precedence if they are paid. Other unions will just be striking with the believe that they will still be paid.

They love Buhari and Kwankwaso more than Atiku but at the same time, they will never sacrifice an Atiku for a Tinubu. No matter how you dislike your son, you will not give his inheritance to an outsider.

Have you not seen how most northern APC Governors are avoiding Tinubu? Have you seen the Governors of Kebbi, Jigawa, Gombe, Yobe and Niger with Tinubu lately.

Even Ganduje who claims to be a core Tinubu loyalist fought hard to ensure Atiku's son in law emerge as the deputy Governorship candidate of APC in Kano.

Do you even know that some APC northern Governors financed Atiku's victory in their respective states during PDP primary. It was only after Atiku emerge victorious in PDP that they agreed to seed the APC ticket to a southern.

By February, you will learn that Atiku is a true son of the north.
